If youre having trouble finding him make sure you're wearing your "Spectrecles" and make sure you're looking up. He doesnt patrol along the ground, he flies high over the island as the quest says.

We had a hunter stand on one of the higher hills on the island and pull him down to the ground. tank and spank kinda fight.

Completed with Holy Priest and tank, both in good lvl 70 blue gear, took a while and used mana and health pots every 2 mins but wasn’t hard. Killed him on the top of the tallest mountain, he does no knock back or spells of any kind.

There is a mountain peak at 69.8, 85.9 that your group can stand on and pull him when he flies towards you.

He doesn't cleave, or knockback or anything special at all, just melee dmg.

As a 70 warrior with 12k armour, he was hitting me for about 1,000 dmg a time.

Unless you're a tank with healer friends, don't attempt this unless the others in group are at this point. Otherwise, they cannot see him even with Spectrecles. I tried tanking as a mage and died at 95 percent with priest and paladin healing. He crit me for 5601.

As a disc priest I did this with a mage and a hunter. If you're a healer, don't put your specs on. You'll get out of combat after a few seconds of not casting and then you can drink. When I ran low on mana had the mage blink kite him down a ramp and then iceblock while I drank. Around 20% put specs on to make sure you can loot. Not too bad once we got the hang of it.

You do need to equip the spectrecles to see him, and he is extremely easy. My group consisted of me (warlock), a shaman, and a warrior. He didn't hit hard at all on our warrior, so our shaman just melee dps'd most of the time and healed intermittently. This mob didn't have any aggro difficulties either; I was able to go all out with no real threat creep on the tank.

Since he does pat around in the air, I recommend landing on top of a hill in his path in order to get him pulled and not have to worry about other mobs. He does no aoe abilities so everyone can basically pile up on top of the hill.

I did this quest chain last night -- incredibly easy and high exp rewards -- with 3 lvl 67's, myself included. We had our lock fly over there with our dr00d, and had one more over there summon us all over. It's nice to be able to use the rewarded Helm through lvl 67-70.

Before you can do the "Divination: Gorefiend's Cloak/Truncheon/Armor" quests, you need to do the prerequisite chains. After you do these (they're pretty quick), then you can do the three Divination quests in any order you want.

At 72, 87, there is a small peak from which a paladin can shield pull him. You can then jump down to a flat area below to fight. Just clear the nearby Overmine Flayers first.

As of patch 2.1.1, players need to have access to or have completed the Divination: Gorefiend's Armor quest in order to see the Vhel'kur. My group found this out the hard way when a friend, who just came along to help, couldn't see Vhel'kur until we got him caught up.

Took Vhel'kur down with a feral drood, a disc/holy priest, and a dagger rogue.

Took him out yesterday in a group of 5. Coords for mountain peak at 69.8, 85.9 are great, but we had to clear the flayers on the nearby clearing (including a 72 Elite) before we could get him. I'm a shadow priest and stood on the peak while group waited below on the clearing. As he flew by, I threw a SWP dot on him and levitated down to group to pull him down. Easy fight. Two shadow priests with VE kept everyone healed. Only problem is that the Elite flayer respawns very quickly, but she's easy and you can easily take both at the same time. Toughest part was getting him out of the air.

He can be 4-manned by 70s without any problems. We had paladin tank, druid healer, hunter and mage. He doesn't have any special attacks so it's simple tank and spank fight. I stayed on top of the mountain tanking him, rest of party was below.

did this quest last night 3 man. resto shaman, pally tank and mage. the mage frontloaded a ton of dmg and took aggro so they died very early. i kept the pally alive while the mage did the corpse run and we ended up killing him. pretty easy just go to the highest point on the island (coordinates above) and tank and spank em.

Did this quest this morning with a group of 5. Rogue, warlock, prot warrior, mage and spriest.

We summoned the warrior to the mountain in the center and cleared the surrounding flayers while we waited for him to fly overhead. The Mage slow fell down and pulled him too us (was a very good idea btw). Tank immediately took aggro and it was a very easy tank n spank from there. He does not do any special attacks or anything just like Boldwyn said above and the spriest was able to very easily heal the tank. He went down pretty easy and we went on our way. One thing that I would like to add is that we fought down the hill a bit from the 72 elite and only had to kill 4 flayers or so to clear the path.

The hardest part was getting the group together. I can easily see hybrid tanks/healing for this. Hell, we probably could have done it 3 man, it wasn't hard at all.

i just did it... i got a full group but nobody couldnt see him!! So they just healed me and i worked as tank with my elem shaman (helped by my fire elemental) without problems. I dont know why my friends didt see him but is what happened.

I 2 manned (I'm a warrior) with my friend (resto shammy).

I used sheild wall, a pot, a healthstone, and she used 2 or 3 mana pots.

Easy.

Well it wasn't exactly easy, but it would have been had my gear not sucked.

So yes it is possible to 2 man, but you better have good gear or bring some pots and be ready to use cooldowns.

(we were planning on 3 manning but I agrod and the hunter remembered he didn't bring his helm so he had to go back to shatt. We killed Vhel before he got back from the bank)

She has nice gear so we weren't totally screwed, but being an arms warrior with a sheild and 1h on and trying to dps solo kinda took awhile.

Got this tonight. Awesome helm. I put a +12 Stam gem(blue), a +8 Hit gem(yellow) and a +12 AP gem in it until I can upgrade my gem to a +20AP from BG Vendor. Compared to the Helm of the Claw, the Helm of 2nd sight looks much better and if you gem it up like me it has more Health and a tad more AP. This one will be a keeper for a long time.

This is buggy if you are doing the netherwing quests and transform into an orc with a drake when you enter the netherwing ledge, I could not see or attack him with the specs on even though i have seen him before. After equiping/unequiping, relogging and equiping/unequiping a few more times he finally appeared so make sure you can all see him flying around before the pull if any of your group are netherwing neutal +. As a plus another bug which happened to me is that while flying back to shatt to change into tanking gear for the fight while wearing the specs, I transformed back into my normal character but I was still on a drake, all the way to shatt although flight speed seamed to be normal not swift.

it's important to note that he has no knockback abilities so you can fight him on the top of the peak, i don't see why you would jump down to fight him

1 manned as restoration shaman. Pretty easy when you have unlimited mana, and 16500 armor(with Ancestral Healing buff). Equip 5/5 Vengeful Gladiator's Wartide (Spectrecles instead of A3 helm), A3 weapons +Vindicators Non-set Epics.

Theres been a bug, that allows your healer to drink when ever they feel like.

Basically keep your goggles off, and heal like normal. When your low on mana, just sit and drink (You may have to wait 5-10 seconds between agro drops), but your be able to drink, and when hes down to maybe 10-15% HP left, just throw them on and bingo, easy lazy healing fight, and you still win.

tried this as a 4-man, 2 druids, lock and a paladin, but forgot about the goggles. only the lock and one druid had the quest and the spectrecles, so we did the fighting with the other druid and the paladin healing. we got him on the first try.

Would have done it without any deaths, (as it was the warrior and mage both bought it), if the rogue, (me), hadn't fallen off the mountain! Interestingly you're able to get back on your flying mount even when in combat with Vhel'kur, so even if you do slip it's not all over, (just try not to fall all the way down...).

Just 2 manned it. Me, a balance druid with 8k armor in moonkin form and 759 spell damage, and a disc/holy priest with 1227 +healing. Had to use 2 mana-pots and innervate priest (she also had to use 1 mana-pot), but we did it :)

just 4 manned it. found a big clearing where a lok summoned our grp. then we warmed up on a 72 elite patrol + trash. Vehl was pretty easy after that. the hardest part was getting a group, getting the non-fliers there (lok summon), spotting and pulling him !

Just 2 manned him today with the new 3.02 talents.

Protection Pally;
11467 Health;
12849 Armor;
501 Defense;
469 Spellpower;

Enhancement Shaman only had about 250 dps. But with the 51 point talent and his Fire Elemental, the dps was enough to put him down in under 2 min.

We switched off healing me (pally).

Soloed today as a prot paladin, but unlike the above i didnt have such great gear.
I had all blue gear except for my boots, and my stats were 11khp, 12k armor, 490 def, but the blues i had were mostly block/parry/dodge/def rating, so i had about 101% avoidance (with shield up).

The way i did it was this:
1. Have the usual prot buffs on (righteous fury, devotion aura, blessing of sanctuary, shield up all the time)
2. Use seal of wisdom and judgement of wisdom
3. In terms of offence use only auto-attack and exorcism (libram of wracking is useful here) every time it pops up, as exorcism (for me) was hitting around 1100 damage for only 236 mana.
4. Cast Holy Light every time your hp hits around 2.5k (this way you get some of the mitigation from ardent defender, and can get the heal off b4 you get too low)

Now just keep hacking away, you should be regaining mana at a rate that means you can keep the heals, your shield and exorcism up, and as i said my avoidance was so high that he didnt hit me at least half the time, and when he did it was always partially blocked. I did pop a mana pot about a 1/3 way through, LoH 2/3 through and then had to bubble near the end to get a bit of mana and health back.

This took me around 10-12 mins, but i did it first try. Tough but very satisfying.

Soloed as a SL/SL (24 aff/37 demo)lock today in pretty sucktastic gear. A mix of basically quest/world drop blues and 3 pieces of the Undead gear from right before the release. Also running with Glyph of the Voidwalker(which was probably necessary given my gear and the extra 20% stamina for the ole blueberry is nice; Pet stats for the fight 12320 hits, 11627 armor, 784 attack power).

Initially pulled with CoD and let the pet pull the aggro. Popped Demonic Empowerment which increased the VW's health another 20% and added 20% to his threat generation for 20 secs.
From there it was just a matter of keeping the pet up. I liberally applied dots whenever the pet had over 7k health. But other than that I was pretty much constantly refreshing health funnel + siphon life. Fight lasted approx 10 minutes. I ended it with full health and mana and the pet with about 6k health. Pet never lost threat and did this on the first attempt.

If you have wotlk, a 75+ retadin, this is easy. My first go I got him down to 20k hp but I forgot to use lay on hands, silly me. I have northrend greens blues and a few bc epics. This is easy.

Finally solo'd w/ 74 DK 14/5/46. I tried several times at each lvl from 70, each time w/ the best Northrend gear I could get from the AH (no Northrend quest gear). Finally got him with a mix of most of the Cobalt entry-lvl tanking set, Eternal Observer's Legplates of the Soldier, and Captain Carver's Persuader, and Chestplate of A'dal, and every pot, scroll, and food buff I could find.

Keep up BS & IBF, Gargoyle as soon as runic power full, Death Strike liberally and hope it crits alot, Blood Strike to convert Blood to Death Runes, etc. Good tanking practice.

Stats were:
HP: 17274
Armor: 16650 (in Frost Presence)
AP: 2098
DMG: 887-1066
Speed: 3.41
DPS: 416.42
Base Crit: 23.82%
Dodge: 11.25%
Parry: 10.71%

(above includes all buffs)

A Blood spec could probably do him at lower level. There's a Youtube video of one solo'ing Durn at 67 in just Outlands quest & instance blues. My spec is also designed for AoE tanking for fast AoE leveling, rather than single mob mt'ing.

Yesterday i tried to solo this foe as a 77 Unholy DK. I went with ghoul, and all of my buffs. I also used frost presence, to get reduced damage. He deals heavy damage. I had to use Rune tap during the fight, and most of my Cdwns. And a runic healing potion. Also had to use Death pact to get some health, i downed him at 999 hp left. He sure was a tough fight!

Fragile classes: don't be too worried. This quest is a fairly easy solo at 80. As a fire mage just start off with Mirror Image, throw up your Mana Shield and then burst it as well as you can. If things get sketchy then Ice Block at the end and your DoTs should hopefully finish her off.

It was impossible to find a group for this quest on my server, so I just shouted for help in LFG, asking a lvl 80 healer to help me. A paladin agreed to help, so with him healing me I soloed the dragon as a lvl 68 combat rogue. It took me about 4 minutes to kill him, while the paladin did not use even 1/5 of his mana. So the quest is actually soloable if u kindly ask for help of a 75+healer. Good luck.

Soloed this as a L73 demo spec warlock with Felguard out. I had 9260hp (Northrend frostwoven tailored set and TBC greens) and pet had 9165hp

Needed constant healing but the mob doesn't hit that hard (considering the Felguard is a pet and has around 11k armour), you can easily outheal it using Health Funnel (rank 8 at this level) and the periodic heals from Fel Synergy.

I just used Corruption, Curse of Agony and Immolate on rotation and stood on the same spot. Used 1 healthstone when I was around 40% from the health funnel. Fight took about 6 minutes.

2 manned with a lvl 68 Disc priest and lvl 68 Prot warr. Tank and spank. Just dont equip the spectrecles until about 20% if you're a healer, and you'll have no mana problems.

Just did this quest on my 80 (working on loremaster)

not sure if its a common bug but I was waiting around 10 min at the spot Ive always killed him...never showed. couldnt find anything about it in comments, had the helm on too. started flying around spamming /tar Vhel found him down on the ground.

So if your having trouble finding him and have your helm on try that. hopefully it was just a weird fluke for me

Proudly solo'd as a lvl 70 demo warlock.
Curse of weakness was on the whole time, as well as health funnel being used the whole time. I applied corruption as often as possible and occasionally immolate; both only when I could sacrifice the downtime of not healing the felguard.
I used deathcoil to restore health the first time and a pot the second time. I had a health stone handy for a third time. :)

Edit: I have BoA gear and blues from a few lower level dungeons like hellfire's.

not sure if a bug...but i turned in all three quests....not one of them counted for the shadowmoon quest achievement. soloed as afflic 80 lock on some random peak - kept landing to see if i could reach him - with no room to move. luckily he died and landed right on top of me instead of down the hill/mountain.

Whenever I've done this quest it's always been from the really tall peak at 70, 86 where Vhel'kur walks right up to you. The in-game quest objective tracker points to this spot. I hate waiting so went looking. Vhel flies around the center of the island clockwise, so go counter-clockwise until you find him. Then pick a spot he's approaching.

Other people have mentioned alternate locations and the one I used today worked well as ranged. It's at 75,87, close to where Arvoar the Rapacious paths. You can safely perch and tag Vhel'kur without adds there at level 80. Level 76 and lower might want to clear some.

The hill at 72, 87 works for melee plus there are no mobs around to bother you. Same with 74,82.

If you find yourself stuck on a mount (seriously, it was annoying trying to fight on this mount as a hunter) use your Iron Boot flask and you will be shapeshifted into something that keeps you from mounting up. You'll be stuck in a falling animation, but you can move around and attack just fine.

EDIT: You might stay stuck in this falling animation whenever you walk around. Relogging should fix this, but it's not gamebreaking.

In the 4.0 patch I managed to solo him as a lev67 prot paladin...

took me three times to take him out, due to unlucky aggro'ing of other mobs :(
but took him out eventually :)

Solo'd this at as a 67 prot pally, wasn't to hard. Although it took about 5 minutes. I wouldn't suggest doing this quest by yourself unless you have some nice heals behind some decent dps. I ended up using all my holy power whenever I got 3 charges towards healing myself whenever possible. Other then that it just takes some time knocking down his health. GL & HF.

And unlike the posts above this is totally soloable in all green gear.

Didn't have too much trouble soloing as a Lv67 Prot Paladin. Just using Word of Glory at 3 stacks unless I'm already at 100% HP then used SotR. Fairly laughable now considering how it used to be.

If you have a flying mount, go around the island at about the same height as the blue dragons. Don't fly too close to the edge where the land is cracked; stick to the path. The target is a much bigger orange semi-transparent dragon.

Solo'ed this today as a 75 Enhancement Shaman using Melia's Magnificent Scepter and Unknown Archaeologist's Hammer (both of which are blue maces obtained on the AH which I enhanced with Titanium Chain) with around 6.8 k AH green and blue armor. Stood on peak in center of island and the dragon attacked me without me doing anything to draw him. Immediately threw down Strength of Earth, Flametongue, Healing Stream, and Windfury totems as a group. Kept myself alive with Healing Surge long enough to replace the Flametongue totem with the Fire Elemental totem (thereby calling up the attendant Fire Elemental) and cast Heroism. After that I just cycled through Stormstrike, Lava Lash, Flame Shock, and Lava Burst while casting Healing Surge as necessary to stay alive. The battle took about one minute.

Solod as 67 Spriest. Only 7400health self buffed with only Fort. It's purely a fight of time. HAVE to have Masochism. You will take tons of damage, anywhere from 2k-5k on crits. This will however mean infinite mana, with that amount being far above the 10% requirement for Masochism to kick in. When ever your bubble is down, spam flash heal until the your weekened soul goes away. While bubble is up(and it will drop VERY fast, 1 to 2 hits usually unless you get a lucky miss) drop SW:Pain if it is not up, and after it is up, use only Mind Flay to refresh it while you are bubbled. Rinse and repeat. Only took me about 3minutes to take down the 100k+ health using this strat. Only one death on first attempt cause a 6k crit sideswiped me. Basic quest greens from nagrand(not even all the good ones since I vendor trashed the most expensive usually) and BoA shoulder/body/weapon/trinkets.

Soloed as a lvl 67 demo lock with BoAs. After the first attempt with a felguard, I got aggroed almost as soon as I started blood funnel and was quickly destroyed, but the second time around I went with my voidwalker. Took roughly nine or ten minutes. Kept corruption, curse of weakness and bane of agony up, as well as demonic empowerment as it cooled to help him keep threat. Otherwise I just spammed health funnel, and he came down.

Downed him twice, neither time at the 72, 87 location. Each time, he fell into the earth upon dying, couldn't loot! Could be the mountaintop is best place to pull.....Finally looted 3rd kill at suggested coords.

Soloed as a lvl 68 frost mage, corpse fell into the ground and couldn't loot first attempt which sucked but got it on the second. Started tanking it with ice barrier then popped mirror images and icy veins as soon as it burst and popped up another barrier then cold snap, icy veins again and another barrier to finish it off.

Make sure you have your spectacles on (you can go to wildhammer stronghold and talk to Zorus to get new ones).
Don't look at the ground when you're trying to find him, make sure your video settings for distance are set to fair and if you are doing this as a group I'd suggest you have a priest/mage/rogue lure him down to the ground first by attacking him (he's pretty far off the ground), each of those has some form of slow fall.

I logged out still wearing the Spectrecles and when I logged back in today I went to find him, but he was friendly to me so I couldn't attack him (and he was stuck in one spot instead of flying around). After some headscratching, I tried removing the Spectrecles and putting them back on and poof he was red and attackable.

Just soloed this boss on my level 67 priest (with wotlk and cata) heirlooms. Not fun but with the priest ability to generate 10% mana when hit for 10% or more of hp I could spam flash heal and cast my dots when I bubbled.

Did this a second ago on my lvl 85 hunter. I targeted him and flew up on a peak. I guess this can be easier as hunter since your pet is kind of a tank but there should be no problem doing this alone. All of the group quests can be done single-handed, at least i could... You one-shoot most of the NPC:s except for the elite ones.

he is a flying giant bronz drake. keep flying around the island if you have flying mount. if you dont, when you see him, go to a highest point you can reach and attack him.

Remember, if you find your "dead corpse" being camped by a vary angry dragon who just finished off your poor pet and knows you are just faking it, take off the glasses. Nothing quite like FD and having THAT looming over head as if saying, "no worries, I can wait...". >.>

Got the dragon on the third try (67 BM hunter with crab tank pet). Beast Within (x2!), keep SS and Mend Pet rolling at all times. Was a little worried a few times.

Quest appears bugged for me. Have put on the spectrecles, have taken them off, have logged off and back on, nothing works. I cannot see the drake anywhere. Tempted to just abandon it and do something else.

Found him all the way up on the tallest hill at 70 84. There are quite a few flayers and things to kill there, so be careful.

It took me half a dozen tries but I managed to solo this on a 70 hunter. I tamed a felboar and specced it into every +armor talent I could give it and the +threat talent then sent him after the dragon. I kept mend pet up on him like crazy, used his Last Stand ability around 50% and just managed to get the dragon down before my pet died. I could have done it with less attempts but I kept getting murdered by the ascendants patrolling the area.

Soloed this as a level 68 Brewmaster Monk. Most of my damage was done with Keg Smash and Tiger Palm. Here's a few tips (and annoyances) for this fight:

Make sure you keep the Healing Sphere ability ready. I had to use it quite often.
He likes to attack you at just outside the range of your Breath of Fire, so be prepared to not rely on that ability.
Be sure to shift your position from time to time to pick up the stray healing spheres. You will need them.
Chi Wave, if you have it talented, does not return to you when used on the dragon. It just has to travel too far.

Easily soloed as 68 Brewmaster. Any halfway decent self-sustaining class should be able to do this in their sleep. Just watch your HP and regen/heal when you take some damage. If you can't find him I've noticed on the last two kills I've done of him he likes to get stuck in ledges, and therefore isn't patrolling as he should.

To find him you need to wear Spectrecles
Normaly he do patrol area, but once engaged (and wiped) stay in same spot.

Not so easy (3-4 deaths?), but soloed as Enh Shaman 67, in green gear (no heirlooms).
Yeah. I got 8k HP, he hits for 2k (4k crit).
Keep water shield up
Healing Surge whenever got ~half HP
Use on CD Healing Tide and Healing Stream totems, and Astral Shift.

I solo'ed this as a level 69 destruction warlock in five pieces of heirlooms. I found him circling around close to the edges of the island, but had to sit on top of a cliff to get in range.

Just used some mobs to get 4 burning embers, had Voidwalker up and spammed Chaos Bolt and then Conflagrate and Incinerate until he was down. It wasn't hard at all. I just assume this worked since I had one level of Wrath heirloom gear on me.

pretty hard one for a 67 druid
tried twice as feral and twice as resto, and killed on 4th try
bursted 40% of his HP as feral with berserker/incarnation/tiger's fury up and couldnt keep healing

tried the slow moonfire dots and healing, runs oom before his HP even reach 70%

this is how i did:

apply rejuv + lifebloom + regrowth hots and aggro with moonfire for dots
turn bear form, use barkskin and cenarion ward, trash then mangle till healing is needed
reapply all hots, heal to 100%, reapply moonfire dots and turn bear
keep doing it until he dies

use barkskin and cenarion ward everytime its off CD

the head piece is valuable not only for mog, but for people that only do BGs while leveling and wont be doing raids for pieces with 3 gem slots

For the patient ones who also prefer to be within melee range then an ideal location is atop the skinny hill at precisely 72.1, 87.1.

Vhel'kur flew between 10 and 11 yards from me which was quite enough (as measured accurately by the Hard Yards AddOn).

I had to do this as at my level I couldn't seem to aggro him down from his rather high flight path.

You need the Spectracles goggles to see the ghosts on these quests.

For Alliance: get them from the Draenei plaladin wearing the Purple Judgement set(Tier 2) named Zorus the Judicator in Wildhammer Stronghold.

For Horde: Chief Apothecary Hildagard in Shadowmoon Village

I wiped a few times trying to solo with my destruction warlock (using all heirloom gear minus the helm) but managed to pull it off by myself by summoning a new voidwalker before my current one dies. Once my current pet is at about 50% health I start casting to summon a new one.

With the 7.3.5 leveling changes, this quest is still elite and can be quite hard if you don't have any survival skills. This is quite dumb considering they are meant to have nerfed all the group quests in leveling zones, but this zone has not been changed at all.

Found vhel'kur at /way 70 86 just standing there, however he'll often be flying around the area. You need to wear the spectrecles in order to see him though, be wary, he's very faint and not easy to see at distance.

I managed to solo him with a level 77 prot warrior by constantly adding peons and killing them. Improves rage gains for one and the victory rush healing gets you through the fight. Beware of elite patrols tho, adding them will end you pretty quickly.

Just did solo with level 35 shadow priest using heirloom gear. Stood on peak at /way 69 85. Easy fight. Now that we can fly at 30 was able to fly up no problem. Don't forget your goggles.

I couldn't get him below 20% even with heirlooms with my shaman before he killed my earth elemental and stomped me. With 9.0, it's possible to trivialize all leveling group content, you just need to be at least level 30.
1)Go back to your capital city and talk to Chromie
2) Set it back to the current timeline.
3) Go back to outland and stomp this dragon in two hits.
4) Go back to the city and set it back to Outland Adventure.
5) Profit?

Hopefully this will save someone else a headache. First of all, you need spectacles to see the mob. I didn't have any and looked for a replacement. At first, I couldn't figure out why I Zorus wasn't giving me the option for a new pair of spectacles. It was because my original pair was in my bank! I had to fly to my bank and get them out. So if he doesn't give you the option, check your bank!

The Ancient Shadowmoon Spirit at the Altar of Shadows in southeast Shadowmoon Valley wants you to recover Gorefiend's Armor.

Description

In life, Gorefiend was a monster, but in death, Gorefiend was an unmitigated terror.

To the southeast you will find Netherwing Ledge. What was once part of the mainland of Shadowmoon is now a floating island in the sky.

Vhel'kur, spawn of Deathwing, once called it his home, but now knows it as his grave. He flies an endless circle above the island, seething at his defeat to Gorefiend.

If you are to recover the Gorefiend's armor, it is Vhel'kur that you must defeat.
