After learning who the identity of the Runecarver was. I got stuck: I could not speak to the Runecarver and I could not move. I couldn't even log out. I had to close the game and come back. Weird.

Had a bug where I got pacified and locked in place. Abandoned quest - used soulshape to move myself to around a little - then had to use an arena skirmish to clear the pacification. Went and got quest with all adoons disabled and the exact same bug occurred

Added reward: I completed this quest a few hours ago, and I got a Tome of Origins as a reward upon completing it. The character in question is a leatherworker with a few rank 4 legendary base item recipes unlocked; I don't know if that's necessary to get this reward.

Huge issue with this quest and getting locked and pacified. No idea as to the cause and am currently unable to complete. I start the scenario part of the quest and it immediately skips any cutscenes and I am stuck.

Very frustrating!

Hi all

I present The Last Sigil Storyline part of Chains of Domination which is the criteria for Breaking the Chains. This Story line have 15 Quests. To start it You need to have 44 Renown.

Quest Name:	Start and description
1 Vault of Secrets	Start This Quest from Tal-Galan 63 25 and You need to see Him in 57 29.
2 Vengeance for Korthia	Slay 15 Mawsworn
3 The Knowledge Keepers	Rescue 5 Record Keeper no need key. 3 outside cave 2 inside cave.
4 Let the Anima Flow	Go to cave 60 32 and go down right and kill Xalvez the Collector.
5 Secrets of the Vault	Speak with Tal-Galan to hear the recording
6 The Anima Trail	Follow The Anima Trail ( white orbs ) to the next conduit 34 35.
7 Bone Tools	Collect 50 Anima-Infused Bones from mobs around.
8 Lost Records	Activate Matrix Beacon go to 39 42 console and use next to it Matrix Beacon after that follow Yellow circles on ground to pick up 3 Cracked Record, /way 36 34 /way 37 36 /way 38 40
9 Hooking Over	Travel to the floating island with a hookshot ( wait few sec Bonesmith Heirmir will create them ), then repair the anima conduit 19 39. During fixing slay Xorul the Insatiable.
10 To the Vault	Move to 47 39 and use Flayedwing Transporter to fly to Vault of Secrets.
11 Defending the Vault	Slay mobs until 100%
12 Keepers of Korthia	You need to rescue 3 NPC: Tal-Rahl 44 76, Tal-Yor 43 67 and Tal-Xuhl 56 71. return quets 50 74.
13 Into the Vault	Speak with Tal-Galan You will change location then Slay at the end Xalvez the Collector - From time to time You will get Collected O_o care with Your HP xD. After fight pick Up Sigil of the Primus gold Orb.
14 Untangling the Sigil	Speak with Highlord Bolvar Fordragon then go to Torgast to speak with Runecarver ( where You doing legenday items ) use last conversation option then will be Cinematic. After speak with The Primus to start Fight :D You will get all buffs :D kill mobs until Jailer will grab You xD another Cinematic. Reward Tome of Origins dont forget to use it :D.
15 The Primus Returns	Fly Back to Korthia to speak with The Primus. The Primus will leave echo in Torgast to skill make better legenday items. Finish quest to The Primus when He will get to corner. Reward Memories of Sunless Skies - But on in Maw and Korthia, 1 Renown and 100 Soul Cinders ( You need them for tier 5&6 upgrade for legendary items ).

If you end up being pacified/ cant move/ can't attack the npcs when the jailer attacks.... Just exit the game completely

When you log back in, the npcs should now be attackable.
And don't worry, they wont have killed you by the time you log back into game, at least they didn't for me.

When all npcs are killed and jailer grabs you, the quest will play out to completion.

** Apparently I had missed the cutscene after you start the quest with the Runecarver... so if all of a sudden you see the Primus appear, youre gonna get stuck.

This quest is the single most stupid instance I have ever had to do as the Player. What kind of special are you to bring the thing the Jailer wants the most into a place where he can literally see and sense everything. That should have been a hard shutdown by everyone, but Bolvar slips it by saying there is no other way. Better plan, find a way to take the Runecarver out of Torghast, go from there.

Seriously if Bolvar isn't being influenced he is honestly dumber than Sylvanas is.

It would be very nice if Blizz provided a "I've seen this before" option for the entire Sigil quest line. It gets really boring by the fourth or fifth time through. Please oh mighty devs, have pity on our alts.

If you're an affliction warlock, I highly suggest strategy:

1. Have Absolute Corruption talent
2. Get out your blueberry
3. Tab
4. Corruption
5 Rotate slightly
6. goto 3

In case you lost track, you are looking to ask Bolvar in Korthia, not Bolvar in Oribos.

If you go to Runecarver's Oubliette and The Primus is still there (so you're stuck on the "Sigil brought to the Runecarver" step), make sure you are not still on the Zereth Mortis quest Reality's Doorstep and the Runecarver should return to where he belongs.

If you are in Torghast looking for the Runecarver but you can only see The Primus standing in front of you and you can't deliver the Sigil to anyone.
Check your questlog for the quest Reality's Doorstep (zone: Zereth Mortis). If you carry that quest with you, the Runecarver will not be there.

Untangling the Sigil

Speak with Bolvar to discuss what to do with the sigil.

Description

The Primus's sigil is bound together with the magic of memory. It reminds me of something you have encountered before. You made an ally of the Runecarver, that poor soul trapped in the bowels of Torghast. He took those memories you found and helped you forge them into weapons and armor. Perhaps he can separate the sigil from this tangle of memories. It's our best chance to secure the sigil. But the way will be perilous.
