Would have been interesting if the "Last Mograine" and now the "Last Fordring" are part of the Knights of the Ebon Blade forevermore but I guess it wasn't mean to be due 1 reason or another.

I have been using The Hallowed and Blood Champion on my Blood Death Knight glad to see a real title for the class. Can't wait to see who the fourth horseman is, if it is us then awesome.

*Now I know the fourth is Darion again. As for the title it is The Hallowed, as it comes from the seasonal world event Hallowsend, WoW's version of Halloween.

The Lich King played it so well here.

Some wonder the point of possibly starting a civil war between Death Knights and Paladins when Darion could have accepted the role if asked anyway. But two things of importance happened here:

1.) The Lich King tested Darion Mograine and his loyalty. Darion's commitment was strong already, but would he - *could* he - actually attack his former brothers-in-arms, forsaking all he once stood for, if he was forced to pick a side? If the answer was no, the Lich King could not trust him or the Ebon Blade if possible conflict with the Silver Hand became unavoidable in the future. But the answer is yes he would, and Darion put these questions to rest with absolute certainty.

2.) The Lich King is thinking long-term. He is establishing his presence in the new world order, regardless of the outcome of the Legion invasion. While still not considered a "world threat" and proving useful in aiding against the Legion and protecting Azeroth, Bolvar/LK may be incrementally consolidating his power (the re-establishment of the Four Horsemen, using the Ebon Blade, etc). Whether that power is for altruistic purposes, self-defense or a larger plan is yet to be seen, and should be interesting to watch unfold in the future...(##RESPBREAK##)520##DELIM##Onyx1831##DELIM##Edited: spoiler tags

Scenario annoys me, both the Player DK and Darion know what happens if they attack Light's Hope, yet is in no way really addressed, this scene just makes them look like idiots for no good reason.

I actually lost reputation with Argent Dawn killing one of the riders outside the tomb, the ones inside did not cause me to lose any. Quite annoying and probably not intentional.

If you look back to the first Horsemen of Naxxramas and the original Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, we can see some of the inspiration of our new Four Horsemen.

-Whitemane takes the place of Sir Zeliek as the White Rider of Conquest. In life, both were faithful believers in the Holy Light; Zeliek being a paladin and Whitemane being the High Inquisitor of the Scarlet Crusade. Despite his undeath, Zeliek's faith allowed him to retain the powers of the Light. Perhaps Whitemane's faith will allow her to do the same.

-Nazgrim replaces Blaumeux as the Black Rider of Famine. Horde players will probably have gotten to know Nazgrim quite well. He is first met in Northrend, as a Sergeant in Conquest Hold, and he dies as a General under Garrosh Hellscream in the Siege of Orgrimmar. Little to none is known about Blaumeux's past. The only parallel that I can see between them is how they stand out among the Four, Nazgrim being the only orc and Blaumeux being the only female.

-Thoras Trollbane succeeds Thane Korth'azz as the Pale Rider of Death. Trollbane is known for having been the benevolent king of Stromgarde and one of the strongest men of his time. Unfortunately, there is very little information on Korth'azz, not enough to draw any worthwhile conclusions.

-This brings us to the leaders of the horsemen: the Red Rider of War. The original Red Rider, Alexandros Mograine, was a knight of the Silver Hand and held the title of Highlord. He wielded the Ashbringer and was eventually raised as a death knight. Our lovely new Red Rider here shares all of these traits. He, too, was a knight of the Silver Hand, holds (or held) the title of Highlord, wielded the Ashbringer, and was (obviously) raised as a Death Knight. He has proven himself time and again, there really was no better choice as a leader for the Four Horsemen.

The best way to get here is probably the Dalaran Crater portal in Dalaran (Legion) and just fly to the Eastern Plaguelands from there.

The Knights of the Ebon Blade will do whatever it takes to defeat the Legion, they will fight evil with evil should it come to that.
But raising Nazgrim did not attack the Horde, they raised him from his grave outside the city; raising Trollbane did not attack the Alliance, they attacked Prince Trollbane, raised by Sylvanas, who is no saint herself; raising Whitemane attacked the Scarlet Crusade, a group of fanatics who would rather destroy undead than the Legion.

All of these can be justified. But attacking Light's Hope Chapel is not fighting Evil or misguided zealotry, they are fighting some of the greatest heroes of the world who struggle against the same threat the Ebon Blade is, and The Ebon Blade is doing so with the express purpose of raising their recently dead.

And as such, upon their moment of triumph, just as Tirion Fordring is about to be raised...

...The Light itself politely lets them know just where they can shove their justifications.

Whole thing seemed kind of silly with the "Light will not let it happen". If the Light cared that much why didn't it save Tirion in the first place?

This is the final quest of Death Knight class hall campaign. So, use Dalaran crater portal and fly to the Light's Hope Chapel, where the scenario starts. It consists of 8 stages:

First, find Darion Mograine and others at 71.4 48.2 just outside of the Chapel's yard.
Get ready to start, just listen to Darion.
Just another easy stage - speak with Darion Mograine and tell that you are ready.
Find a crypt at 77.2 50.8 and investigate it. You have to raise minion with extra button skill. There are four spots where you'll be able to rise ghouls, one is on the first level, two spots are deeper and the final one is on the deepest level.
Run out of the crypt and travel to the Chapel, where Darion awaits.
Inside the Chapel folow the stairs down and proceed until you found Lady Liadrin.
Defeat Lady Liadrin
Unfortunately, when you'll start to raise Tirion, you take a fail and Darion die. After that the scenario ends.

Then Lich King will speak with you and grant Rise Horseman ability, make Darion "living" again. Congratulations, thats all with general class hall chain, go take your 3rd relic slot quest.

After teleporting to the Eastern Kingdoms for this quest , I noticed there's still a flight path to the old version of Ebon Hold, so I flew there for the sake of nostalgia :D

Sadly, the only way down is by flight master, so you will have to double back again to Light's Hope Chapel :(

After speaking to Salanaar, you will pick this quest up from Darion down by your mission table. Don't fly off to Light's Hope unless you have it.

If the quest doesn't show up on your map, open a ticket.

When the scenario ends, you are returned to the Ebon Hold. You still have to raise the fourth horseman, who is the dead guy on the ground where you are ported to - just click on him and the quest will be completed once he is raised. I didnt see him when i arrived back at the Ebon Hold and in my confusion, I went all the way back to Lights Hope Chapel and re-did the Scenario before i realised - deerrrr

Darion would not appear after completing the quest (logging out or traveling to Dalaran did not work) so I had to open a ticket to get the quest for the 3rd relic slot

Felt a little odd attacking Paladins as I run one myself, but all in all this is so far my favorite conclusion to any of the Order campaigns I've completed. Fortunately I run two death nights and will have the chance to do it again with the second one!

This quest honestly pissed me off. It really highlights one of the greater problems with the structure of questing in wow, that lack of moral choice we get to have as players. This is confounded even more so when blizzard writes in this pretense that our player avatars are like 'the chosen ones' and that the rest of the npcs now flock to us, but here, it shows how such a setup just doesn't work in this game.

First, we fight alongside Tirion, he was the guy who actually broke our control from the lich king, and later died to the legion on the broken shore that we were witness too. All though the deathknight campaign, we here how undeath is a curse guys like Darion wouldn't wish it on anyone.
Yet despite this, we're given whispers, from f**king Bolvar Fordragon, to raise this fallen characters into undeath. I mean whitemane made sense she was a zealot and bad guy, and her undeath seemed to improove her demeanor, but we're being told by Bolvar who to raise, Nazgrim, Whitemane, Trollbane, and now Tirion.

Darion make it clear his disgust, but says he will follow along with whatever 'your' plan is.. but its not really our plan is it? Its Bolvar telling is what to do, and then us as players having no choice but to follow along if we want to unlock titles and mounts.

This illusion that we have a choice by blizzard is a joke, I for one don't want to raise Tirion into undeath, but I don't get a choice in it, aside from not playing the game.

- Take the portal to Arathi Highlands as Alliance
- Take the portal to Undercity as Horde
- Play the scenario until Lady Liadrin and make sure:

You do NOT kill Lady Liadrin.

If you are a pet battler and have done the Strathholme pet dungeon on normal, you can talk to Manapoof in Dalaran or Boralus/Dazar'alor to teleport to Strathholme to get to Light's Hope quicker :)

Just a word of advice: Do not travel to Light's Hope Chapel and then log out or exit the game because of "real world" responsibilities. When you log back into the game, you'll find Blizzard has inexplicably teleported you back to Ebon Hold---and no, not the Acherus conveniently floating above Light's Hope Chapel, but the Acherus floating just off The Broken Shore.

Update as of Dragonflight: Lady Liadrin will continuously reset if you one shot her as a 70, I had to take off half of my gear including my weapon, my ilevel was around 200 after stripping, I was able to hit her a couple times with my fists and it triggered the scenario and completed the quest.

You MUST have completed Maw of Souls: Maul of the Dead (from Salanar the Horseman upstairs) before Mograine will have this quest for you.

If you are killing Lady Liadrin too quickly in Dragonflight; take your armor and weapons off and it should work fine. Sadly had to resort to that since the foam sword doesn't work.

I had to take off all gear and use DnD (Death and Decay) to be able to trigger the event.

As of The War Within, I cannot complete the scenario. Hitting Lady Liadrin just once already kills her, even without wearing any gear. She instantly resets.

Description

The Lich King demands too much! Tirion Fordring deserves more than a life of anguish and undeath!

Know this, Deathlord... I will obey your will, but there will be no redemption for what we are about to do.

The Silver Hand will never hand Tirion to us. The path to the Fourth Horseman will be soaked in righteous blood!

Blood that will stain our hands forever.

Your will be done, Deathlord. I will begin the preparations to invade Light's Hope. If this is what it takes to save our world, so be it!
