OK, I have stood next to the cauldrons. I have stood UNDER them, I have stood IN them. I keep getting the message 'requires plague cauldron'. I am not seeing the jokes (ok I understand the bug refrences) but I cant finish the damn quest.

EDIT: OK nevermind , my bad. During the quest chains I wound up with TWO different items to use at two DIFFERENT places. One was the vial of neutralizer, the other was a sample container. I confused the two. /facepalm

I smell their cauldrons from here, but that's not plague they're cooking.

Pledges to the cult are forced to drink a concoction that steals their will and enslaves them forever to the Lich King.

Fill this flask with a sample from each of the three cauldrons in the northwest region of the gate and bring it to Chief Engineer Boltwrench.
