I was about to pull out my own SPINE because of this quest. For some classes it will be a piece of cake, but for casters it can be a pain because of the Slows and Frostbolts of the Blackscale Mistresses.

Golden tip: don't go towards the sea so much. Stay on the grass, close to the defenders.

This quest is a pain for just about everyone. The spawn rate is very fast and with the companion quest to pick up the mortars, you will very easily find yourself overrun.

The melee mobs throw you around with kockbacks while the casters have a pretty annoying Frostbolt slow.

Also note that their leash range is abnormally long and running away might not do you that much good.

This quest is obnoxiously hard. I like challenging quests and all, but I'd also like for them to be more or less soloable without having to resort to running to nearby guards for assistance. It doesn't help that the two different mobs have an annoying synergy between them.

Worst quest of the expansion. I really hate those Dragonmaw Defenders that don't do anything!

As above this quest is a pain in the azz. Just be patient. Problems with the Dragonmaw defenders is if they help you you're not gonna get credit for the kill. Even after I aggro w/ Hand of Reckoning. Enjoy!

What worked for me was to get to the northern-most part of this area (70,35), so that my back to was to cliff wall, and stand in front of the Dragonmaw Defender.

Then I pulled the naga as they came out of the water and fought them far enough in front of the Defenders so that they did not engage.

The flags are for the next quest. If you stand between them you are reasonably safe. YMMV though.

Is it me, or do the mobs give low xp for kills. I was getting like 2300 per kill. For a lvl 84 mob? Come on, and as hard as they are to kill and spawns.

I think they must have nerfed this quest, there's about 1 naga coming every minute... I have 5 killed and i'm just sitting by the defenders, either that or it's bugged.

When I started this quest it appeared as though there were absolutely no naga at all. I had to run all the way to the far back of the beach (keep running along the line of defenders until you hit the cliff side) for them to start spawning.
