Head to the left (east) edge of the beach where it kinda looks, at least from the shore, like there's an underwater forest. Don't try to wander near the tenticles yet.

Get in the water, then use the item as you can't use it on land. (*Sniff* Blizz needs to consider these for real mounts!)

After that, just float on down, murder the kids' parents, and steal the poor unsuspecting naga children away.

You can stealth whilst riding the Irresistible Pool Pony.

Also, the Naga Hatchlings make an EXTREMELY irritating hiss.

To repeat an important point mentioned below: you must right click on a Naga Hatchling; you will lure 3 each time you click on 1.

Anyone else think it's weird that only the Sirens (the female naga) are guarding the Hatchlings? It's especially weird since naga are basically overgrown seahorses and it's the male seahorses that care for the young.

Am i the only one who finds it a bit disturbing that Megs wants to turn the hatchlings into little plush toys? Taxidermy and children don't get along together very well...

If you are like me, and a few others in the comment section, then you tried keeping the quest, Irresistible Pool Pony, so you could continue to use the quest item F-O-R-E-V-E-R!

After several hours of research via google and wowhead, I have found that it is not possible to use the item in any other zone, even if you haven't abandoned the quest. However, I have discovered that you can leave the zone, without completing the questlines, and not by dungeon meeting stones, but by summons from a warlock or a recruit-a-friend. Altho, recruit-a-friend summons only works if you are on the same server.

I wanted to make sure that the forums I read were still correct and up to date about this (because the item is just that cool), so I tested their strategies out. Below you will see proof that I was able to leave the zone without turning in the quest (I tried both ways on different toons) but the item, unfortunately, does not work. https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v405/VampiresKitten/WOW/WoWScrnShot_050820_191859.jpg

Silver lining! At least, you know how to leave that dreadful goblin zone now! lol

Warning! I wasn't able hearth back to The Lost Isles, even tho I had previously set it to the Town-In-A-Box inn. WOW will automatically set your hearthstone elsewhere, once you are summoned out. Out of curiosity, I tried getting back to the goblin zone in other ways like having someone fly me there and by leveling a recruit-a-friend toon all the way to the Irresistible Pool Pony quest; but sadly, flying there didn't take me far enough to be sent to The Lost Isle's graveyard and my toon was phased out so my R-A-F could not summon me. I even tried deleting my toon and restoring it, hoping they would have placed him or his hearthstone back to the goblin starting zone, but that didn't work either.

I did not try having high level warlocks summon me over there or try having a healer fly me there so I could try to survive the fatigue long enough to reach the area, and I guess I could have also tried contacting a GM about the issue, but I didn't want to risk the chance that they would fuss at me about leaving the zone before completing all quests. You all are welcome to try these other options, but I believe it is moot since phasing seems to be the main issue.

Description

I've got a plan and you're the only one that I know crazy enough to pull it off!

I need you to take this irresistible pool pony to the Vashj'elan Spawning Pool and inflate it. Then, swim down to their hatchlings with it on. I'll bet anything that the hatchlings can be lured away to follow you.

Bring them back here and we'll proceed with the next phase of the plan.
