For Rogues, my advice is to not equip the boots and do this before Three Little Pygmies and Rockin' Powder. Instead, stealth your way to the Pygmy camps and complete those first, then stealth your way back, using the Super Booster Rocket Boots if you get caught and need to wipe out some Goblin Zombies. Then when you're clear of the Pygmy camps, fire up the boots and finish this quest.

I find I get stuck in combat because some zombie spotted me, and you can't stealth which is almost mandatory for Rogues for do those other quests.

Try to avoid killing the zombies with your Super Booster Rocket Boots until you complete the Pygmy quests in the area. You lose the boots when you kill 50 Zombies, so the boots allow you to goto the pygmy areas without wading through a sea of zombies that aggro.

Although this is not mentioned, the Boots do not work at Orgrimmar/Pandaria. I used the Unstable Portal Emitter to get out from Lost Island.

Big Tip
If you hand in this quest (or otherwise lose the Super Booster Rocket Boots) before completing Three Little Pygmies or Rockin' Powder, you can go back to Coach Crosscheck and ask for replacement boots.
Highly recommended. ;)

It's been so many expansions now, that the boots on female Goblins are, uh...not worn. They're kinda just glued on, and the fire shoots in directions. Not specific ones, just...directions.

But hey, they work. Guess that's just the Goblin way.

Description

Those zombies that got past us are nothing compared to the numbers waiting just through the pass. If we don't deal with them soon, the pygmy witch doctors are going to send all of them against the town, and even the cannons down there won't be able to handle that many!

I brought a couple of shredder boots along. Greely modded them and now they're Super Booster Rocket Boots!

Use the boots to incinerate the zombies in the Oostan villages to the east.
