For snapshot two (The high up one) don't try to snap it one the ledge, it won't work, you have to go around and stand under it.

I don't know if it's just me, but when I made my way around to the Pygmy Altar, I couldn't help but notice that the 'head' on the altar bears a striking resemblance to the dodongo head entrance to King Dodongo's pit-room in Dodongo's Cavern from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Even the coloration of the lower jaw and neck of the altar's head is the same as the jaw for the entrance.

What's even more interesting is that if you stick around near the altar for a bit and listen (don't know which sound setting you need on), you can even hear a dodongo's roar every once in a while (there is also a dragon roar that plays periodically, but if you wait, you will eventually hear it. Very distinguishable).

Perhaps another reference in Blizzard's mountain of easter eggs?

This is such an unusual quest mechanic, it's odd they've never really reused it.

had the hardest time taking "capturing the altar". It seemed like it was just taking a pic of the altar and killing the pygmy afterward. No idea how it finally worked.

This quest is partially bugged: it never turns "Completed" in your quest log. You just complete the objectives... and turn it in, in its "still not complete" state.
