Emerald Nightmare Gear and Relic Loot Guide

One of the goals for Discipline Priests is to feel like they take the best of both Light and Shadow, and we (eventually) want to make both damage and healing role trinkets useful. If you got a trinket as Holy or as Shadow, it should also be useful as Discipline. We’ve applied modifiers to some DPS-role trinkets to make them usable by Disc without being crazy good in situations where area damage is very attractive, and Disc is now considered a ranged DPS specialization for purposes of trinket eligibility.

Several trinkets categorized for Beast Mastery and Marksmanship Hunters are shared by melee dps, others are shared by caster dps. The trinket list below notes which are affected. The trinkets categorized for these two specs are: 嗜血本能, 不稳定的恐怖软泥, 扭曲之风

嗜血本能 is a trinket categorized for physical agility DPS, 乌索克的撕裂之爪 is a trinket for strength DPS.

Physical/Melee

残缺的种荚, Nythendra. Use: Contaminate the ground beneath your feet for 10 sec, dealing X Shadow damage to enemies in the area each second. While you remain in this area, you gain X Leech. (1 Min Cooldown). Includes BM/MM hunters.

天然附肢, Il'gynoth. Equip: Your melee attacks have a chance to generate extra appendages for 12 sec that attack nearby enemies for X Physical damage every 0.75 sec.

自然的召唤, Cenarius. Equip: Your melee attacks have a chance to grant you a blessing of one of the Allies of Nature for 8 sec.

嗜血本能, Ursoc. Equip: Your melee attacks have a chance to increase your Haste by 3399 for 10 sec. This effect occurs more often against targets at low health. Only for Rogues, Hunters, Windwalker, Feral, Enhancement, Havoc.

乌索克的撕裂之爪, Ursoc. Equip: Your critical autoattacks have a chance to cause your target to bleed for 20176 Physical damage over 8 sec, stacking up to 1 times. Only for DPS Paladins, Warriors, Death Knight

Healers

一瓶梦魇之雾, Dragons of Nightmare. Equip: Your healing spells have a chance to apply a Spirit Fragment, preventing the next X damage done to the target for 15 sec.

隔离之茧, Elerethe Renferal. Use: Wrap yourself in a cocoon, entering a dreamless sleep for 10 sec. During that time you restore X Mana per second. (2 Min Cooldown)

塞纳留斯之角, Cenarius. Use: Summon a Wisp to aid an ally. When the Wisp reaches your target's location, it detonates for X healing within 8 yds. (1 Min Cooldown)

强化感知, Ursoc. Equip: Your healing spells have a chance to grant you X Haste and X Intellect for 12 sec.

Ranged DPS

不稳定的恐怖软泥, Dragons of Nightmare. Equip: Your ranged attacks and spells have a chance to summon a Volatile Ichor, which creeps towards the target and explodes on contact, dealing X Nature damage within 8 yards. Includes BM/MM Hunters.

瘟疫虫巢, Nythendra. Equip: Your damaging spells have a chance for a swarm of carrion insects to engulf your target, dealing X Nature damage over 10 sec.

扭曲之风, Elerethe Renferal. Equip: Your ranged attacks and spells have a chance to create a Tormenting Cyclone at the target's location for 10 sec that deals 8507 Shadow damage every sec. Includes BM/MM Hunters.

蠕动肌腱, Il'gynoth. Use: Gain 10 stacks of Maddening Whispers. Your damaging spells transfer one Maddening Whisper to the target for 30 sec. When all Whispers have been applied, each deals X Shadow damage. (2 Min Cooldown)

腐蚀树枝, 萨维斯. Equip: Your damaging spells have a chance to afflict the target with Nightmare Corruption for 20 sec, causing your spells to deal up to X additional damage as Shadow. Every 2 sec Nightmare Corruption attempts to spread to a nearby enemy. If no uninfected enemies are nearby, the intensity of the Corruption increases.

Tanks

幻影回响, Dragons of Nightmare. Equip: When you fall below 50% health a Shadow Reflection manifests from the Emerald Nightmare, absorbing 30% of damage taken for 20 sec. Prevents up to X total damage. This may only occur once every 2 min.

梦魇脓液杯, Il'gynoth. Equip: Taking damage has a chance to create a Nightmare Ichor nearby. Absorbing the Ichor increases your Versatility by X for 10 sec.

诡异雕像, 萨维斯. Equip: Enemies that attack you have their souls Darkened, reducing the damage they deal to you by X% for 20 sec. Darkening Soul may stack, but successive stacks do not refresh the duration.

不羁之怒, Ursoc. Use: Increases your maximum health by X, and your Armor by X. Lasts 25 sec. (2 Min Cooldown)

Cloth

Helm: 降神兜帽 from Il'gynoth, 黑色预见兜帽 from 萨维斯

Shoulder: 上古织梦护肩 from Nythendra, 长盛之花护肩 from Cenarius

Chest: 疯狂秘密长袍 from 萨维斯, 梦鳞嵌花外衣 from Dragons of Nightmare

This entire guide is beautifully laid out, but thank you in particular for the relic chart! It is very useful.

Under accessories it states that cloaks no longer have primary stats yet both of those shown clearly have str/agi/int.

Response to comments below:
@Kal The paragraph in question could at least benefit from some clarity; as it stands the uninformed reader will probably assume that the stat won't be on the cloak at all.

@preistguy It's not simply a tooltip error in the case of cloak, I currently have equipped Dreamwalker's Cloak, removing and equipping the cloak clearly changes my agility by the listed amount.

Anyone happen to know if 乌索克的撕裂之爪 still procs for Agility DPS?

Seems kind of silly that it's classed as STR only for the purposes of personal loot, but I'd imagine that it probably works fine if you master loot it to a rogue or a Havoc DH or Feral or whatever.

It's only carrying passive Crit, no mainstat, and doesn't appear to have inherent class restrictions.. weird choice to treat it the way personal loot does, should really be "Any Melee"

Bloodthirsty Instinct should probably be listed under Ranged as well, just for those hunters who don't realize our damage is physical.

There is a error. Mail armor, says:

Wrist: Scored Ironclaw Sabatons from Ursoc

But obviusly, it is not wrist armor, else are boots.
So it is unfair, why 3 mail boots and only one wirst? :(

Wow, viable MM/BM Hunter Trinks choice is so poor, 2 at best in the whole raid - most of the "ranged" trinkets are only for spell casters and the physical ones bar one for melee specifically >.<
