Those are gathered in a big spawn, killing them won't give you any Experience and you can loot them but they won't drop anything.

I am totally ashamed of Blizzard for this quest. I refuse to complete it. The unarmed humanoid mobs are not aggressive to my toon, are begging for their lives in a cordoned area behind armed guards and reason for killing them is about as immoral as you can get.

These guys have noone but themselves to blame for their predicament. They were gullible and are now paying the price.
I died 3 times as they insulted me and declared their intention to make me take their place.

This was easy all you need to do is stand on one of the stands hit one then you get the EVADE jump down run out to the little mound and only the 1 will follow you then kill him do it over again

Paladins, don't use Holy Wrath like I did. You'll pull anywhere between 5 and 10 of them...

I guess that goes for any AoE actually...stick with direct attacks for this one.

I refused to do this quest for moral reasons, and because of the oh-so-wonderful linear nature of Cataclysm quests, was locked out of the rest of the questline. Had to make up for the lost reputation through dungeons. Ah well.

Sure, I doomed Hyjal to a fiery demise, but at least my conscience is clear.

For those who are thinking of skipping "Spiritual Training", this will stop the quest chain after "Seeds of Discord". Nothing else is obtainable... which kind of sucks. (See Whiterock's quest tree for reference).

Go to Doom's Vigil, just north of here. We've rounded up all the... failures. I want you to help take care of them. It'll be good for your spiritual growth.

If this cold-blooded act gives you trouble, think of it as their second chance. Should any of them manage to kill you... well, they'll take your spot.
