Talk to any one of the Chiseled Golems around Chiselgrip to start their training. The golem will become hostile and attack using basic unarmed skills. Once defeated, the golem will pause and re-calculate its battle strategy. Then it will restore its health to full and attack you again, but this time it will use an ability called Heave. Defeat the golem a second time. The golem will heal itself once more and attack using an ability called Flame Blast. Beat the golem one more time and it will tell you that it has enough training and despawn. Do this on three more golems to complete the quest.

You can fight more than 1 golem at a time, and you get the correct credit.

Simply talk to and then attack the golems in the base. You will have to defeat each one multiple times. Awards + 1400 Thorium Brotherhood Rep.

The golems say some fairly amusing things when defeated, such as:

"Defeated. Shame level: High. Adjusting strategy for future battles."
"Battle result: embarassing failure. Incorporating new methods into battle regimen."
"Beatdown recieved. Optimizing strategy for next battle..."
"Pummeling recieved. Adjusting battle parameters..."

This is much better than just putting the beatdown on some golems. The sense of humor made it fun. If there were a rating system for quests, this one would be 5 stars.

If you happen to be a max level toon with a dot, you can apply the dot as soon as they go hostile. The dots don't fall off when the golems reset. (At 85, it took slightly longer for my warlock's corruption to despawn them than the length of the dot, at 90 I imagine one corruption will do.)

somewhat bugged as a hunter. after training is complete, aggro is maintained, pet and golem keep going at it. First two times I could change the pet to passive and had progress. third time golem said complete, but no credit and when I set pet to passive, they just kept chewing. Had to run away, but still, no credit..... Update: tried opening ticket, but after completing form, unable to submit as it looks like I have to include an image file.

Fly or run up to the second floor of a nearby tower. Pull 4 of the golems along the walkway. AOE, pause to reset, AOE, pause to reset, AOE, pause to reset, AOE, quest done!

Currently bugged in the Dragonflight pre-patch, at least at level 60. The golems just stay hostile without giving you quest credit, making it impossible to complete the quest. I even tried using the Soft Foam Sword, thinking I bugged it because of too much damage, but no luck.

Shame when trying to complete the quests in the area for achievement.

Even level 24 characters can't complete the quest: the weakened golem attacks forever.

As of Nov. 1 2022 the quest has been fixed and I was able to complete it!

As others have noted this was bugged and now "works" but it's still acting oddly. The golems are meant to take 4 kills to get credit, but sometimes they reset(evade and run back to their position) between kills.

They're also extremely difficult to fight on my 46 rogue. They can easily get you to low health in a few attacks.

Description

Yer provin' to be a pretty big help around here, <race>. I was thinkin ye could help with just one more thing.

Our guards are strong, but they're not as strong as you are. I was thinkin', maybe if ye wouldn't mind, ye might help some of 'em with their training? Just go up and talk to one and fight 'em a few times. Hopefully they'll learn from yer moves and get better.
