You can kill the sergeants without the cudgel. I didn't read the quest before I started and lost my mask. Couldn't get or find another so just tried killing them when they were hostile. If your lower leveled best to get the sergeants that are by themselves and not by the large group of orcs.

I can't find this guy at all.

One issue observed, later I'll have to talk to Kibler, who hates me for slaughtering his Booty Bay buddies.

I'm doing this for the pet reward.

If you turn in this quest you will lose your costume, preventing you from turning in I Am the Law and I Am the Lash . To regain the costume, use the tailor's table again to regather the materials then speak to the tailor

Should you be getting the message "You can't do this yet" and be unable to club anybody, there is hope. Simply remove your mask, and re-apply your disguise. This solved the issue for me.

When clubbing a target, you get a 'buff' called unmask. You can right click and remove this buff, thus preventing the unmasking from happening.

While doing this quest, if you happen to experience a message "you can't do that right now" when you try to use the quest item on the mobs. Then go to a safe place right click your costume buff on your upper right hand corner and use the costume item on your inventory again.

that will fix the problem.

When I did this quest I only got a 'can't do that yet' message when I tried clubbing the minions.

Reapplying the disguise solved the problem.

Just make sure you don't reapply it anywhere near any of the big groups of mobs, because the disguise will fade as you reapply it and they will attack.

I am currently trying to complete this quest chain for the Tiny Flamefly pet. I am level 110 and have run to a problem. I am not able to have them discover that I am in disguise and attempt to de-mask me as when I hit them with the club it just instantly kills them. I have tried taking off all armor, still instant death. I dropped the quest and picked it back up with no change.

Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestion on how to complete?

Havent thought about it before, but I wonder if this quest is a throwback to Indalamar's WoW-beta video, where he goes around in the burning steppes Blackrock orc barrack and just rofltstomp everything with slam and warriors (at the time) ridiculous haste. And thus became the sole reason Haste was nerfed into the ground making haste absolutely suck for warriors until Legion.

Unfortunately, it looks like the quest mobs for this quest have become the target of raw gold farmers which leaves you with no opportunity to tag these mobs. Hopefully, a fix from Blizz comes soon.

It sounds like you have earned Thorg'izog's trust, and he's assigned you to discipline duty. This is fortunate.

We need you to take out his sergeants. You'll find them on wolfback, outside of the Blackrock Stronghold in the Fields of Honor. Use that cudgel on them, several times, until they die. You'll have to act fast, because if they realize you're not one of them, they can unmask you. Strike quickly and ferociously, <name>.
