So why does an Alliance quest involve helping to free a Horde city? (Genuine question, I only play Horde)

I'm unable to obtain the quest "Free Freewind Post" after completing Deliver the Goods & other quests in this chain. I have not completed other side quests at the Speedbarge. I'm a Night Elf Hunter. Is there a reason anyone knows of... that I can't get the quest? Ticket times are a little high now, I'm guessing the community can answer before a GM ;p

So i had the same problems picking up the quest. I read on the horde side of this that you needed to complete The Mad Magus in order to pick it up. It worked for me, so if your still having troubles try that.

Don't look for him at the top of the pillar, he is at the base of it next to the water.

This quest requires you to not only complete the quest chain listed above, but you must also do the Haunted quest chain, which in turn requires the Where's Wizzle? quest chain.

Tested with new character.

You need to do the chain Where's Wizzle? though to The Mad Magus and the chain Negotiations though to Back to Crazzle. You do not need to do any side quests.

These are the alliance versions, the Horde should be similar.

To open these two chains, you need to do The Grimtotem are Coming through to Circle the Wagons... er, Boats or the Horde equivalent.

Here's my question... Why is it that in the quest chain Grimtotem Supremecy, we pretty much ally with the Grimtotem, and now we're fighting against them? Not only does blizzard not seem to care about lore anymore, but integrity too!

Please note : VERY IMPORTANT :
do NOT accept the quest to "Go to Gadgetzan" until you have accepted the "Free Freewind Post" quest.
"Tanaris is calling" is offered at level 43, BUT it is the LAST quest in the chain. Accepting it out of sequence breaks the quest chain !
