The chests are located around the body of the big dead whale at 78;63

Had been looking for them for over 10 minutes without spotting a single chest, and then finally I found it: many, many chests in the chasm south of the Whale Shark (if you can't find that one, you really haven't taken a second to look before visiting Wowhead =P). There should be more than enough chests here for you to finish the quest.

Another good location to start searching for the sunken treasure chests is deep down in the chasm around (78.8 , 67.4) which is just North of Fizzle and Pozzik's Speedbarge. You'll find the sparkly chests scattered mostly along the chasm walls around half way down.

Just keep an eye or two open for those pesky Southsea Treasure Hunters patrolling the abyss... sneaky they are and very protective of those chests!

This is a pretty frustrating quest I found mostly because if you had to fight your way to the cage to get this quest you definitely got hit by grog and therefore drunk making the screen tilt and your movement unstable. So swimming underwater looking for chests just becomes that much more complicated as you try to swim while constantly going in the opposite direction you intended.

Description

The key to the cage is held by Tony Two-Tusk, the pirate admiral, and he's guarded by ogres that you'll never be able to kill!

<Wizzle cries some more and then looks up, an idea forming in his brain.>

I've got it! What do all pirates want more than anything else? No, not grog. Something even better... treasure!

They had a ship full of treasure that was sunk by a giant whale-shark. The treasure is scattered all over down in the Mirage Abyss to the northwest.
