Switching to the opposite warmode from where I completed the quest fixed the problem. Can see them on wm off when I did the quest wm on

I found this ending so weird. You've done a handful of quests and suddenly you are their best friend/most amazing student/super accomplished archivist. Where we talk to each individually to get sentimental pieces of wisdom and feel good reassurances of our self worth.

I mean it's kind of par for the course for DF... I just find this tone so cringy and hope they change direction in the future.

When speaking to Eadweard Dalyngrigge for Graduation Day, he will say:

Like all rare finds, we tend to treasure their value well beyond any outwardly monetary consideration. I hope you can see that it is the same we feel of you: Treasured beyond your apparent outward value.

This feels a tad strange coming from some people for whom I just did a bit of work...

Regardless of how it feels for my character, I think this is a good reminder for those of us who have really low self-esteem, or those of us who are way too hard on ourselves sometimes (or all the time): there are people who treasure you beyond your apparent outward value. (And even if there aren't people who treasure you, you still have value as a human being beyond your outward/"obvious" or subjective value.) I tend to devalue myself frequently because I compare myself to others who are more , and since I'm less , I come to the conclusion that I'm obviously of less value. This is also just a good reminder that "value" itself is extremely subjective.

So, here's your reminder: You are loved, you are treasured, and you have inherent value, whether you see it or not. <3
