Will trigger a cutscene when you get to the area. Be careful when you exit the cutscene as you're standing on a ledge! Go to the right past the waterfall on the ground and then go north to avoid falling.

I thought I would never find the place to "investigate the noise." After riding all over the map, I finally took a side path and stepped into a cutscene. When it was over I was at at /way 46.99, 74.01 and I don't have any reason to think that I was moved on the map. Hope this helps someone.

this is at the top of the hill, on the road you came from, not in the water at the bottom.

I traveled the entire area. Went to the way point on the map above as well as what is listed and Nothing.
I logged out and tried again. Nothing.
I hearthstoned back to Boralus and then back to the starting cave with Genn and Jaina. THEN it worked. Don’t know if it was a bug or my internet connection.
My location was 46.90, 74.22

Your next target location will be 41.77, 60.34
Followed by 39.28, 56.47.
Then you can hand in the quest titled “Where The Road Leads”. Although you never really pick up the other quests the just roll as you move forward.

So. the quest was bugged for me. What is supposed to happen is after picking up the quest, you lead them around counterclockwise from the center of the mini zone, to the place that's marked on your mini map (a short distance from where you start the quest) then glenn says something about a noise and you're supposed to get a NEW location to investigate the noise just west. When you go there it starts a cutscene and you see a bunch of naga and precilla. Then they mention that you've been spoted and the next part of the quest starts.

For me, it never moved the first marker, even tho I was supposed to investigate the noise. i could start the cutscene, but not advance any further. and if I walked away and back to the "noise" marker. it would start the cutscene again.

I had to abandon the quest and try again to get it to work. good luck

For those who find this quest "bugged", Abandon the quest and pick it up from Jaina at 45.55, 74.70 in a small cave.
When leading into this quest, you can actually pick it up from two locations, the cave listed above or Mezzamere.

If you pick it up from Jaina at Mezzamere, you cannot complete it. This is a common problem with those who gained flying and are leveling an alt.

This quest was designed to be run on the ground not flown.

After completing “In Deep” to the east about 50 yards is the entrance to a little cave (45.35 75.92). Inside Jana Proudmore will give you the quest “Up Against It”. Once you pick up the quest exit the cave and travel north along the path to 46.49 73.71 which is a overlook to the lake with will give a short video. Once the video is complete continue up the path to 48.94 67.45. You will see two sets of steps with a glowing scepter in the ground above them, click on it. Blademaster Okani will appear and give a little speech and you will then be able to turn in the quest.

Blademaster Okani will then give the next quest in the chain “Where the Road Leads” which will take you to Mezzamere.
