I am Trying to do the "Champions Of Legionfall" quest, I can't find it in my Order Hall, Is it a quest I get once I am honored or reveared with legionfall faction? Do I get it random? please help it is frustrating lol.

This quest is part of the Broken Shores campaign. It is not available at this time (7.2 launch) and if the 11 week timeline that people have reported is correct, it will probably not be until April 11, based on the number of items left to complete in the Breaching the Tomb achievement.

Hmmm, wowhead's description says "Rally your champions and do what you must to bolster their ranks." Which seems to imply this is not a quest YOU do, but one that your use the table to send Champions on. Then again, it may not mean that at all. I am 1526 rep shy of flying, this and a World Quest gets me in the air, so I sure hope it's ME doing the quest. Kinda surprised that the day before this goes live, there is zero information about it... always thought stuff that was withheld from the PTR got datamined...

After you obtain your Legionfall Champion Follower - you need to return to Deliverance Point on Broken Shore to turn in the Quest. :-)
Then you will get credit for the achievement!

Don't go searching through your class hall expecting someone to talk to to instantly complete this quest.

Champions of Legionfall can only be completed after you have completed the quest chain to recruit your new 7.2 follower.
The chain starts with a quest you get when returning to your class hall after accepting Champions of Legionfall.

Once you have your new follower, go back to Deliverance Point to turn in this quest.

Prerequisites (for current character):

You need to have completed A Glorious Campaign
You need to have Heroic Weapons (click through and check "reward from" for your class specific quest)
You need to have finished the first 2 parts of Breaching the Tomb

Ok, for those of you who, like me, didn't know what to do for this quest:

When you get this quest you need to return to your class hall. There will be an NPC there with a quest for you (look for the orange exclamation mark). It doesn't mention anything about being related to the "Champion of Legionfall" objectives!

This starts a short quest chain which is class ~~(and spec?)~~ specific. At the end of this chain you end up back at Deliverance Point, where you'll find NPCs from your class hall setting up camp, and you gain the NPC from the quest as your "Champion of Legionfall".

At the end of this chain you can return to Maiev and complete the quest.

For (BM?) hunter the chain started with Devastating Effects from Shandris Feathermoon at Trueshot Lodge, and ended up with the champion Nighthuntress Syrenne.

Seems quests and followers are class specific, not spec. See Helcalya's post for a list of all of them :)

For DK's this is a really fun questline, except...The instance in the Pit of Saron where you have to acquire the reigns of some NPC's drake is a complete joke. I strongly recommend you do this at the most socially unfriendly hour of the day/night. The drake will spawn at regular intervals, but there are normally so many players all desperate to finish the Q that it becomes a complete scrum (& the tag is faction specific - so if Horde/Alliance gets there 1st...tough, you have to wait for next spawn). But...you MUST NOT kill the drake until its rider has also spawned a few secs after, cos he is who you need to loot the reigns from. So...WAIT! Tag the rider & wipe him (very easy kill). At present be prepared for a long time (unless you get very lucky) in the zone. The rest of the task (pretty much just riding drake & burning offerings) is easy.

Druids, Thisalee Crow is in the middle with Keeper Remulos and Rensar Greathoof where you get your artifact weapons. She gives you the quest Talon Terror and you go from there.

This Quest is part of the "second" chapter for the 7.2 questline

The quest will only become visible if you did not do any of the previous quests on the same day. Completing the prequest on the same day will give you a cooldown on starting the next chapter via the quest Campaign Cooldown

You can check your status with this command: /run print (IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(46775))

If it says "TRUE" then you have to wait one day.
If it says "false" you should be able to starte the quest (assuming you did all the other prequests up to Defending Broken Isles)

To complete the quest, you actually need to complete the questline in your order hall, which will unlock the last follower. Some of the quests are started by your champions, make sure they are not on a mission or if they just returned, make sure to relog in your order hall.

1. You do not need to finish this achievement to unlock VII choice of your Order Advancement
2. When you finish a quest chain and get a new champion the game will automatically unlock your 6th champion
3. VII choice of your Order Advancement will be different (at least on my toons) before and after quest chain.

Just had an issue on the Monk Campaign, where the quest you complete to gain the follower bugged out... Which wound up not giving me credit toward this quest.

Had to relog to get the follower, Then drop the quest and pick it back up again. Then the quest auto-completed.

If you cannot find the NPC to turn your quest in to, it is because they are on a mission. You will have to wait until they return from the mission to be able to hand in this quest :(

Pretty sure the trigger for this is completing "The broken shore: Investigating the legion". (Looting the scroll off mobs)
I was able to pick up Champions of Legionfall on all but one of my alts despite that most still had to defend vengeance point, as well as Defending Broken Isles - Legion assault in their quest log.

At first I thought I just had to complete my class hall campaign. My warlock was the only one I hadnt completed this on, and since she was the only one who couldnt pick up Champions, I decided to focus on that. I completed my campaign yesterday but still no trigger for Champions. I went back to Broken Shore and completed Vengeance point, still no trigger. I then decided to work on unlocking the new traits on my weapon because maybe I had to wait a day for the Champions.

After looting the scroll, and heading back to Khadgar to turn it in, the ! appeared above Maiev's head.

I think this must have multiple ways to trigger or I was just getting a bug, because I have a few other toons that are on the quest for the Champion, yet simultaneously on the, investigating the legion quest. So, *shrugs*.

Hopefully this helps someone who seems to be stuck trying to get the Champions quest to show up.

Ok, for dk (frost):
1. the question mark for the quest "Making Preparations" is on the wrong floor, I needed to go the the floor where you can upgrade your weapon etc.
2. for me, the quest giver was Highlord Darion Morgraine - on of the four riders on the balcony.

I haven't been offered the quest and had done the other broken shores achievements. Opened a ticket and the GM let me know I have to finish the order hall campaign first. I hate dungeons and so had not completed the order hall stuff. Oh well, off to the dungeon with me... :(
PS: the treasure quests are not required, nor an rep in particular. It seems to be the just the achievements and the order hall completion.

This god forsaken quest will not show an NPC in the Warlock Class Hall. I have done everything, quests are up to the point where I can not now progress any further. The only thing I have left related to my Warlock is these: Cult Culling and Stealing the Source of Power. But, nowhere does it say these two quests are required for this quest. Anyone have input on these?

If you leveled and geared your character too fast, and are more ahead on the Broken Shore questline than on your Class Hall campaing, and don't have the 3rd relic slot yet, the quests for this part of the achievement (and the lore on the Broken Shore) won't show up.
You'll need to finish your Order Hall campaing first, and after that you'll be able to get the quest from Maiev.

Any warriors stuck trying to complete this quest?

Can confirm this does not require you to be revered or higher with Armies of the Legionfall reputation.

If you have the quest Champions of Legionfall and you go to your class hall and nothing is lighting up or you can't do anything you need to finish this quest Return of the Battlelord

Solution: Go to Aerylia in the middle of the class hall and select the option that sends you back to the Broken Shore(there will be a 2nd Broken Shore option select that) /way 70, 34
It will allow you to pick up the quest, and that will send you back to Odyn to turn in the quest and Lord Darius Crowley / Eitrigg will appear for you to complete Champions of Legionfall.

i have leveled a char post 7.3 and now i cant get the 2 last order hall advancement cause i need to complete this achievement first

For some odd reason , sometimes when the 'Altar of Aegis' (sp) quest is taken, it causes this quest to NOT appear at deliverance point. If you are NOT seeing this quest when you should, try abandoning the Altar DG quest. I have had this happen a couple of times in the last few days while working various alts.

Achievement must be completed on that specific character (achievement is accountwide, but requirement for the followup is based on character specific progress)

As a death knight who just picked up the quest but cant find the location to go to next, take a portal to your class hall and talk to darion mograine on the upper floor balcony. There you get another quest to get a companion. Once you finish a few quests you end up on acherus again. Do not leave. The champion appears after a few moments right next to darion. The quest is obstructed on your minimap by other icons. After you recruited her you can head to deliverance point and turn it in.

If you are a warrior and get this quest, go to skyhold to odyn and do his quest. When you return from the broken shore to skyhold and turn in the quest at odyn, talk to eitrigg who is left of odyn. I overlooked his questionmark and searched in the center of skyhold and didnt see anything on the map there. I returned to the broken shore but there was nothing too. I returned to skyhold again and checked odyns room incase the map didnt load that particular question mark from the distance. And thats exactly what happened. When I entered the room eitrigg showed up and the minimap showed it aswell.

This is the worst quest so far. Its so confusing and non-linear. Sometimes you have to guess where to go next instead of CLEAR instructions.

If this helps anyone who can't seem to get this quest. Once you finish your order hall line return to Deliverance point on broken isles and the warden will have it there and then return to your order hall to begin the quest line for your champion..

All this backtracking gives me a bloody headache. Why do I have to go back to Maiev after finishing the quest chain to get my last follower? Just let me finish it in my order hall... Like we get the quest from the guy at our order hall map saying that we need to go research new perks, and they send us to the guy who does that but we can't do it because we still have to leave and talk to Maiev to finish the quest before we get the achievement so we can research the last 2 perks.. Ugh. Very smart Blizz!

After you complete the quest with Crowley he speaks: Lord Darius Crowley says: It was an honor to fight alongside you, Battlelord (Name here). I will report to Skyhold. See you there!

but what it doesn't tell you is that you need to go back to Danica the Reclaimer (broken shore 69.8 , 34.7) to get the quest called "RETURN OF THE BATTLELORD" after you turn in return of the battlelord Lord Darius Crowley will be standing next to Odyn.

PALADIN: After receiving this quest, I got three new champions (8 total) but it wasn't complete. After getting Delas Moonfang, I had to go to her "ancestral home" with the quest "Ancestors and Enemies" > kill a nearby NPC > "Moonfang Family Relics" > "Runic Reading" > "Felstone Destruction" > "Oath Breaker" > follow that to the end, and Nerus Moonfang is the champion you need to get. AND: If you have done all the other required things to get him, you will immediately get mail with a quest "Seek Me Out", from Maxymillian of Northshire, who will become a follower! He is reportedly one of the best followers for the Paladin.

I am unable to advance the "Breaching the tomb" Quest line, i can get champions of legionfall quest from Maiev, i would then need to talk to Lady Liadrin... but she has no quest to accept... please help been stuck for weeks...
I've completed the first 6 parts of breaching the tomb achievement.

After completing your Order Hall campaign, you have to complete "A Hero's Weapon" in you Order Hall or you'll never see the quest for "Champions of Legionfall" on Broken Shore.

As Rogue, you get the quest you need from Ravenholdt in your class hall, so if you have been ignoring your 3rd artifact weapon, you might miss it.

After you sign up Brewer Almai as a champion, immediately use Zen Pilgrimage and you'll be back at the Broken Shore. Because you just came from there to collect clues to the poison used on your order hall. This makes it easy to turn in Champions of Legionfalland start the next step in Breaching the Tomb, Shard Times.

Champions Rise achievement is also needed, at least for some classes. I'd managed to get the class hall done without actually finishing the chain for Thisalee Crow. Once I found where I was in the chain and finished it up, I got her as a follower and Champions Rise achieve popped, and then could turn in Champions of Legionfall. I'm still missing one or two of the dungeons on that character, so they weren't 100% required. Even if you've finished the class hall and did your heroic weapon turn in quest, you might still be missing something from the class hall chain.

I've had trouble getting to this point. I finally go to it after doing a quest for my profession (strange). I'm a blacksmith. I picked up the quest in Dalaran, Azure Weaponry. Did the dungeon quest for the Darkheart Thicketn then Meeting in Moonvale. These all seemed to open up everything. Not sure if this was the actual fix, but it worked. On ward to my mount.

There seems to be a lot of information all over the place....what does it take to complete Champions of Legionfall? I like it when the quest shows you the items needed and also tracks them...since this is a major quest in getting the class mount I would have thought Blizzard would do that...

Legionfall Campaign:

***Note: It is recommended to work on the treasure finding quests the goblins south-west of Deliverance Point give you, in order for you to have eight world quests available when it comes time to complete them for step 11. The goblin's last quest isn't available until the following day/reset. Their final quest opens up the world quest Treasure Master Iks'reeged.

1. Assault on the Broken Shore (Intro Scenario)

2. Legionfall Supplies (Collect 100 order resources)

3. Aalgen Point (Visit flightplan)

4. Vengeance Point (Visit flightplan)

5. Begin Construction (Use construction table to donate Legionfall War Supplies to the construction of a building)

6. Altar of the Aegis (NOT REQUIRED!) (Accepting the quest will cause the NPCs to run away. Relogging will cause them to reappear)

7. Defending Broken Isles (Defeat a Legion invasion in the Broken Isles). If one is not available, it is recommended to continue on your class hall questline if it hasn't been completed yet. There will not be a follow-up quest to Defending Broken Isles unless you have completed your class hall campaign.

8. Champions of Legionfall (Return to your class order hall and recruit a new champion)

9. Shard Times (Collect 2500 Nethershards to give to Khadgar)

10. Mark of the Sentinax (Collect 50 Marks of the Sentinax)

11. Self-Fulfilling Prophecy (Complete 8 world quests on the Broken Shore)

12. Intolerable Infestation (Slay 50 demons in Faronaar or Felsoul Hold)

13. Relieved of Their Valuables (Find 3 Hidden Wyrmtongue Caches on the Broken Shore)

14. Take Out The Head... (Slay 3 Rare Elites on the Broken Shore)

NOTE: As I discovered today, if you assign your Broken Shore follower as your bodyguard, you won't see the missions you need to complete this quest. Unassign your bodyguard and recheck the mission list.

Don't be like me and think you can pick up this quest if you have already completed the achievements on a different character. In order to pick up this quest from your Order Hall, you need to have the following completed ON the character you are trying to get the quest:

-A Glorious Campaign
-A Hero's Weapon Quest
-Finished the first 2 parts of the Breaching the Tomb (Armies of Legionfall and Assault on Broken Shore)

Rogues check Fit For a Pirate if you dont get the champion quest. One in my guild had to write a ticket to learn that this quest is missing to progress.

You MUST have all artifacts for your class in addition to the other requirements to get the quest. Tested with a guild mate. Didnt get the quest, looked everywhere, got the other artifact weapon that was missing and then got the quest. It might be that this isnt the case for all classes, just for some.

I just did this in BFA 8.3 and it's not clear in the game how to go about completing this part of Breaching the Tomb. What I did to unlock the quest for my class in the very first post in this thread (Helcayala's post if sorting by highest rated) is i completed a Glorious Campaign, which is your class order hall campaign and is really long and will take some time to complete. Once you complete your campaign, for hunters, an NPC will appear just inside the doorway of Trueshot Lodge with a quest for heroic weapons. If you don't have your artifact weapon (titanstrike for BM hunters), you have to go get it from your bank and come back to Trueshot Lodge. Once you have your weapon equipped, step onto the red circle behind the NPC and an action icon will appear at the bottom of your screen. Click on it to infuse your weapon with the power and unlock heroic weapons. Turn in the quest to the NPC at the lodge, then go to the Broken Shore by the mage tower and the quest , Champions of Legionfall, is now available from Maiev Shadowsong. Accept this quest and then return to Trueshot Lodge (again!) and the first quest in Helcayala's list (first post in this thread if sorted by highest rated), Devastating Effects, will also be unlocked and available from Nighthuntress Syrenne (she's outside - if facing Trueshot Lodge, she is to the left a bit and down closer to the path the flight path is at the end of). Just follow the short questline this quest starts and that's it.

I'm going to assume for other classes, everything in this post would be the same and the locations and NPC's will only be different. For the first quest that unlocks heroic weapons, just search your order hall until you find the NPC that gives the quest. Follow the rest of what I have typed out, but when you have to return to your order hall after accepting the Champions of Legionfall quest, just look around for an NPC with a quest that matches up with your class that is listed in Helcayala's post above.

If for some reason the quest to unlock the heroic weapons is not available and there is no NPC with a quest at your order hall, i believe you have to complete a heroic Legion dungeon if you haven't done so already. The NPC is also a follower that can be sent out on missions and you may have her out on a mission if she's not showing up with the quest.

I had spent a lot of time in Legion previously, so when I leveled my hunter I just breezed through doing the absolute minimum to get to BfA. I got my first Legion weapon and not much else at the class hall. Later, I did some more order hall quests to unlock Argus. Then, when I came back even later for the mount, I got as far as Champions of Legionfall and couldn't get it from Maiev. Wasn't sure where to go but took a couple seemingly unrelated quests at order hall and got my Huntmaster title and went inside to empower my weapon. Then Maiev unlocked.

I spent a month running around to get Champions of Legionfalls with no success. Madive doesn't give my anything. Cant complete my class hall campaign (shaman) because i cant go past the first 2 followers and no quests or missions available for me. Did all quests available in Broken Shore, Valshara, and stormheim and did most of the legion dungeons but still nothing shows up for me. İ dont have any old quests pending in my quest log that may hide madive, and i read most of the posts on Wowhead for an answer, but still clueless. Any idea?

Stuck. Surv hunter, did everything I can for Emmarel, and cannot pick up any quests from Shandris or Maiev. I did switch from BM to Surv after 120 and have been completing the achieves as Surv, but I also picked up and completed the artifact line for Surv. Still can't go forward with the questline. I can't figure out what steps I'm missing to continue. Is there some way to datamine my progression and find out what I'm missing?

To get this quest to appear you have to complete all your class hall quest chain ending with A Hero's Weapon. Go to Broken Shore and pick up the quest Champions of Legionfall. Go to the class hall and pick up the quest to get your last champion.

Thisalee is at /way 68.20, 54.79 in Moonglade, if you were wondering. :) I couldn't see her or her question mark until I literally flew on top of her after doing circles for a while.

If this quest isn't available after completing your order hall, make sure you don't still need to do The Cathedral of Eternal Night: Altar of the Aegis quest. Seems to bug the Legionfall campaign.

2021-03-31 (9.0.5): This is broken, write a ticket!

I tried doing everything suggested in these comments. No quest showed up, and I could not continue my mage questline. The only quest that was available to me was "A Conjurer's Duty", and I could not turn it in.

So I wrote a ticket.

Lo and behold, one day later I receive this reply:

... We are receiving reports that A Conjurer's Duty is not working for players :/

Don't worry! I have gone ahead and fixed it for you, ...

Next time I visited the Hall of the Guardian, I could turn in "The Conjurer's Duty". Once I left the hall via the portal, Meryl showed up beside me in Dalaran and offered me the next quest. I am now back on the questline.

I had an odd issue with this quest, I had it in my quest log for a while because I hadn't been doing Legion, but I recruited a follower at the Frostwall Tavern in Draenor and it completed the "recruit a new champion" part. Not sure why.

i have already done my order hall quests and my paladin class quest. Nothing shows up at Maev. Any solutions?

Took me a little while to figure this out, but this quest starts a Quest Chain in your order hall. Get this quest from Deliverance Point, go back to your order hall, and there should be someone new to talk to. help them for a few quests, then you will be eventually directed back to your order hall to recruit them.

Interestingly, recruiting a new champion for your Sanctum Command Table (for whichever covenant you may be), counts towards this quest. Lost Sybille gave me credit for this, despite not being associated with the Legionfall.

This quest seems to be required in order to start class mount quests, after completing the class order hall campaign-- sometimes. Since 9.1.5, I've been slowly pushing all of my alts through their mount quests. With that said, this quest has a few prerequisites despite having already done the entirety of Breaching the Tomb a half dozen times.

When you get to Broken Shore, you'll likely see some intro quests that make you fly around followed by Legionfall Supplies -- do those first. Then do Defending Broken Isles from Maiev. THEN you should be able to do A Hero's Weapon in your class hall. From there, Maiev should have Champions of Legionfall paralleled by a few more straightforward quests in your order hall. Once you complete Champions... at Maiev, there will be a quest NPC that appears behind you that starts the class mount quest.

I didn't need to do this for all of my characters, but .. some did.

You have to complete A Hero's Weapon from your class hall to see this quest from Maiev Shadowsong.

I did not receive the quest til after i had already completed the follower quest in the Demon Hunter class hall. Now I am unable to continue. any help would be appreciated

Hi All,
Just noticed something while grinding my shaman class mount. Blizz might have shortened the requirement for it. I'm not sure because I haven't found anything yet but I just finished my legion hall campaign and had worked my way to the quest Mark of the Sentinax when I noticed a quest off to the side I hadn't noticed before. It sent me back to the maelstrom to begin the mount quest. This is the first time I haven't had to finish the breaching the tomb achievement for my class mount (got it on pally, lock, mage, DK, DH and druid before finishing shaman). I had it finished up to shard times. Maybe Blizz decided we didn't need to grind it all out if we had it done on other toons already? I should be able to confirm soon as I'm a few quests into the rogue class hall campaign (unless I get burnt out on it =P).
EDIT::: Ok can confirm. Finished the rogue almost 2 weeks ago now and forgot to post. Sorry ya'll =D

I need help, I've done all quests up to Champs of Legionfall and have gotten the artifact weapon and the hall of guardians is open now, but the Maev isnt giving me a quest, am I missing something?

If you're doing this on a DH, you have to complete the short questline for Lady S'theno. Should start in your Class hall, and end with her becoming your champion.

Help..... I finished my class hall campaign, did Breaching the Tomb till Champions of Legionfall. I have no champions to recruit. How do I complete this? I've already checked the paladin guide and confirmed that I had recruited all possible champions.

I have to add this because I couldn't figure out why I couldn't start Champions of Legionfall.

"A Hero's Weapon" where you raise your artifact weapon at your order hall is required to pick this quest up. If you've been putting it off because your artifact weapons are in your bank, etc. COMPLETE THAT QUEST. Otherwise you will not be able to get this quest and your mount.

And yes, even if your order hall campaign and defending the isles are completed, you cannot get this quest without completing "A Hero's Weapon"

..At least on druid...haven't tested on other classes yet.

Fellow confused Druids needing clarity, I was hard stuck on this quest for a few hours, I had completed "A Hero's Weapon", had the achievement A Glorious Campaign (Complete your class Order Campaign) and had completed Breaching The Tomb on another character previously.

I was struggling trying to figure out why I couldn't complete this quest.

You need to complete A Glorious Campaign which ends with A Hero's Weapon, then you need to continue doing every single campaign quest after it up to Grovebound and the very last quest Champion: Thisalee Crow. Once you have done that, you will complete Champions of Legionfall. Which will then let you pick up Talon's Call which will start you on a 3 part quest, with the last quest You Can't Take the Sky from Me rewarding you with your the new appearance you need to go to the barber to select as your flight form.

Hope this helps clarify and have all of the info in one post.

If Maiev, Illidan, and a bunch of other NPC's aren't at the Broken Shores, you need to complete "Armies of Legionfall" and "Assault on the Broken Shore" that can be picked up from Khadgar near the flight point in Dalaran.

Anyone notice this quest appears on the map but doesn't actually spawn an npc for it? Been trying to do it on my Druid.

After you finish your class order campaign and get the achievement, equip your artifact weapon and go find the Heroic Weapon quest in your order hall and finish that one. Then go to Deliverance Point to get the quest from Maiev.

I rushed to Deliverance Point right after the achievement popped up and had to go back for that last heroic weapon quest. Dont be like me :)
