Phased for me as well. Did every quest in the zone except this. Found a way to do it by grouping with someone not phased and kiting the mob to me.

He is in the tall building behind the quest giver. UPSTAIRS! You have to go through 2 mobs to get to him.

As people have said, he's at the very top of the fort behind the dwarve who gives this quest.
He isn't however flagged as a quest (!) mob.

Phased here too. Before entering the immediate area of the fort, I can see NPC's running around and the closer I get, they all start pulling Houdini's. I have tried many different methods of clearing what could have simply been a glitch; /reload, soft log, hard log, game restart, computer restart, deleting the Cache folder, WoW Repair, all to no avail.

This appears to be yet another reliable BlizzFail. I submitted a ticket roughly 12+ hours ago, but, with the amount of BlizzFail's that are currently plagueing this game, post Cataclysm, Blizz employees are probably casually working on it.

They fixed this quest, i was phased i couldn't do it, the guy is now upstairs in the village for me. All complete.

Lol, after completing the quest you get the Sack of Grain he was wearing for pants. On mouseover it says

"You're so not eating this."

It also vendors for 25g :)

I have completed the quest objectivenightfall n long time ago, but the NPC that should accept the delivery of the quest is in another phase, so when i get close to him he disappears - been thinking of deleting the quest, but keeping it in the hope that it will be fixed

Description

Why I be standing in the grain crate? Long story short, there were hornets and some Dragonmaw that showed up at a bad time. I got away safely, but the bastards took off with me legguards!

My sister made those for me from scratch, even engraved my name on... I would die of shame if she found out I lost 'em.

Please find 'em for me - I saw the pant thief going into that fortress over there. I'm going to stay here for *ahem* cover.

And don't be asking what a Wildhammer wears under his kilt!
