I would add that the marked areas on the beach are where cannonballs fall from the island. These do damage and a knockback. For my 85 DK with 87.8k health, it was anywhere from 14-15k damage and a few feet of knockback.

Take this along with Scouting the Shore as they both take place in the same place.

This quest chain leads to the opening of the portal to and from Stormwind, which makes it pretty important to anyone levelling in the area.

There seems to be a bit of a bug with this at the moment where kills of the Axebite Marines don't count unless you're in melee range. I didn't notice this with my paladin, obviously enough, but it was a nuisance for my mage.

Until this is fixed, just close to melee range to kill the marines.
