Make sure you pick up the Incomplete Journal, obtained from an object just outside the gates of Thor Modan with an exclamtion point quest symbol. Gather up the pages, and turn this quest in before going in to Thor Modan since the quest that the Incomplete Journal starts also leads into Thor Modan for The Runic Prophecies a couple steps later.

The Runic Prophecies is an Alliance quest. You can try to jump in the water to save you a trip from going down to the front door. If you mess up, well, you can walk back to your dead body and you'll be where you want to be.

Tip: Swim in the water to avoid all those annoying dwarves. You'll have to kill some threshers though

For those with flying mounts, landing at the back end of the trench allows you to skip all the other mobs, and then mount up and fly out. No hassle at all.

He is located far into Thor Modan, if you wanna skip some mobs, just jump down from the hill where the previous quest was.

I went all the way around the trench to the lowest spot possible. I didn't die and I am eating right now. No mobs :) The guy is to the right of me.

Do note that it may seem like a good idea to run to the end through the river in the middle. It certainly isn't a good idea in practice.

The mob that you have to kill is at coord 70.0 13.8. In the end of trench in the left side. Easy to kill arround 10.5K HP.

If you can fly, go to the top of the hill where the giants are throwing down the rocks and fly straight down. You can remount and fly straight back up again.

I didn't do the quest until after I had cold weather flying, so I just flew in to get to Argrum. His exact coords once you get into the trench is .

to easily get past most of the trash on your way to the quest objective, just jump in the water; stay towards the middle, on the very bottom, and you may only pull 1 or 2 of the dwarves. i love it when i get to use my glyph of underwater breathing :3.

Don't swim in the water if you have The Runic Prophecies quest. You cannot get out easy.
They are on the some 'doors' in the pathway.

Just be careful is the best advice I can give. Now I am a rogue and have the slow fall ability and the glyph of slow fall so I can jump a good distance without hurting but somehow or another I fell through some tiny freak hole in the floor that caused me to plummet down and out of the clouds to my death, how you ask? I have not a clue. I just thought I should mention this because so far I can see I am the only one this has happened too.

What I did was, jump while mounted, onto one of the cross beam structures, then onto a nearby tree limb. <depending on which end you are at> Then, you can <relatively speaking> "safely" jump to an opscure place to heal is needed. I didn't need much, after that! Try it!
NOTE: I did this a couple of times, to make sure it could be done and I had to return for an additional quest.

The Rune Reavers have two buffs; Rune of Retribution which increases their damage output by 5% on strike, and Retribution which increases all damage by 10%. Both buffs are magic and should be dispellable if you are a dispell magic type class.

Side note, On Into the Breach I simply swam down the river past the neutral threshers right up to Brann. I pulled one or two on the way but I still feel like it was much easier. Brann has a lightning shield with 20 charges.

I flew down onto the little bridge at the end of the trench and didn't die. I hopped off, killed the guy and went back to the bridge where I was able to remount (flying mount) and fly out again. This quest took all of about 10 seconds.

The best way to get in is to jump on the ornaments (looks kind of like a bridge), walk to the middle of it and then jump in the water. Piece of cake :)

For those who don't have cold weather flying, just jump into the water from one of the bridges up top. Then swim through to the boss. You should only have to kill two or three mobs this way. After you kill the boss, swim back to the western side. You can the jump up various pieces of debris, landing you outside of the trench. Quite simple and easy.

On a side note- It's actually harder than I thought to get up using the debris, having tried it a second time. Please don't get angry at me for misleading you.

You have to fly down to the breach, Iron Thane Argrum can be found at 70.4 12.8 spot, next to a wall.

Kurun on the hill overlooking Thor Modan wants you to kill Iron Thane Argrum.

Description

If we can't overcome the defenders inside Thor Modan, the iron dwarves can hold out forever. The Earthen are bravely taking on the constructs built by the sons of iron, but they cannot break into the city.

The tunnels narrow too quickly for my fellow giants to be of use, so our options are few. Would you be willing to venture into the city and kill the dwarf commanding the resistance?
