Go to the first cave entrance (39,40) where you found Flanti's pack. Make your way over the large bridge and on the left side you'll see a gate where you can use the Deathforge key. Warbringer (69 non-elite demon) is at the end of the smaller cave behind the gate.

Soloed as level 70 frost mage, piece of cake.

After I did fate of flanis and the summoning chamber I got this quest. I got it after summoning chamber, so I'm not sure if both are pre-req or just summoning.

This quest is easily stealthable. The locked door is out of aggro range of all mobs if you're level 70, so just sneak up to it, open the door, then restealth. I cleared one warrior and one pathing warlock before killing the Warbringer himself.

The gate is on route to where you found the dwarf. It is at the left side of the room with all Deathforge smiths. When you enter through the gate there's only one way to go, follow the path thru the Cooling Infernos and you'll find him.

After killing him, I went north to what seemed to be a fake stone wall. I hovered my mouse over it and saw "Doodad_BlackRockCellDoor01"

I wonder where it goes :D

I don't know why but i couldnt open the gate. I had the key and i used it. But instead of the gate opening he just made a move. The same way as he does when he apply poisons. (im a rogue). Someone help?

I also can't open the gate, it just does the "opening" bar and nothing happens. I tried abandoning it and retrying the quest, but still nothing.

I did it solo Druid lv 67. Just snuck in and walked all the way to the end and pulled one mob one by one and then snuck up behind and killed him myself and snuck back out. Easy! Good luck!

As a level 69 fire mage, it was not the easiest to solo, but I got it done without dying. For those of us mages who are lazy, just port out to Shattrath in the end. Use arcane blast, arcane missles, or frostbolts to kill the infernals. Infernals will break invisibility with their immolation buff. You can dodge them while invisible, but it will be hard since you can't see them, I got around one with invisibility then had to kill the other.

as a 69 fire mage was really easy.....infernals just Frostbolt max range 3 times then ice nove back up and ice lance....finsh with COC or Arcane blast or frostbolt again
remember fire ward makes you immune to thier attack

Did all the pre quests, and chain in under 45 minutes. That includes getting in and out of deathforge the both times. Prot warrior with DPS gear on and plenty of food, easy done.

If your main goal here is fast lvling, dont bother with this one, most of the deathforge quests are just awfull to solo in as the layout and npc patrols are just plain stupid. Your going to waste about 2-3hours and 20-40g in repairs for this quest. Not worth it, I think.

Soled this as an 68 frost mage, he is at the end of the tunnel. 6k hp and 3k mana.

i did a suiside run through all the mobs and died at the gate when that happend i ran through the gate as a ghost and resyed but when i died again all my items were damaged coz of the suiside run so repair your items be4 u do this!

Solo'd as a lvl 67 DK. If you can kill the regular mobs in the area you can kill this guy no problem as well.

Be sure to do all Deathforge Quests at once because the NPC layout here is terrible; the quests are barely worth your time.

level 69 non-elite demon very easily soloed with 71 pally while 2 guardians a summoner and an infernal attacking me at the same time

Where is this you ask? Where you found Flanti's pack in the upper right cave entrance.

You have to actually cross the bridge into the big room where the Tinkers are. Two guard are at each the beginning then the end of the bridge. When off bridge, look left. You'll see a weird looking sculpture thing, then a park bench/ tables then voila! Heavy Iron Portcullis. That'll open with your key. It even says "Requires Deathforge Key."

Use a lever to get out once you pop the boss. No aggro at lvl 85.

piece of cake as a lvl75 prot warrior - mobs no problems at all, didnt even have to think about ability rotation.
as said above, the key for the portcullis is in Flanis's rucksack

This area is still a bit buggy. I had tinkers, summoners, and guardians with 30 second or less regeneration times. At one point I was fighting 4 guards, 6 tinkers, 5 summoners, 5 imps at the same time because of this.

Killing him is real easy.. getting there could be the problem.. cause sometimes they come with 3 at a time... differs on your specialty if you can handle them

The hardest part in soloing this quest, is getting back to the cave the Warbringer is in. Once in, killed a few guardians, and then the Warbringer. Piece of cake to solo for a 68 shadow priest. But like I said, the hard part is getting there. Had to die a few times.

As of today, I couldn't find the odd cave wall mentioned by ffffouad (I think I have enough Fs in there...).

And yes, still had to relog to make the key work.

Annoyingly enough, the patroll from the *other* cave (the one with the summoner) passing under the bridge in this cave, broke my rogue out of stealth. o.O

1. Bring Down the Warbringer!
• Accept the quest, Bring Down the Warbringer!, from Stormer Ewan Wildwing at coords 40.4, 41.2 (Deathforge).
• Travel north, and enter the Deathforge at coords 40.1, 38.3.
• Follow the passage to coords 37.4, 42.7.
• Open the Heavy Iron Portcullis, and follow the passage to coords 39.0, 46.6.
• Kill Warbringer Razuun, and loot Razuun's Orders from his corpse.
• Exit The Deathforge.
• Travel south, to Wildhammer Stronghold, to coords 39.4, 53.6.
• Turn in the quest to Wing Commander Nuainn.

Description

We've made a lot of progress against the Shadow Council's operations at the Deathforge, but if we're to truly be triumphant, we'll need to defeat the Legion's overseer there.

I found a key among the items in Flanis's pack. I'm certain it will prove useful in tracking down this Warbringer Razuun you observed at Legion Hold.

After you've hunted down and dealt with Warbringer Razuun, report directly to Wing Commander Nuainn. He'll want to know immediately!
