Go south first and kill Grimnok. Make sure to take at least one mug of the brew from the camp (either in the barrels or kill a brewmaster). Then go north, place the mug at the entrance with Korgaah and the elites there, this will single pull Korgaah out.

Pulling Korgaah with a beer mug is confirmed working. I just put a beer mug down at the campfire in the 1st floor of the building Korgaah's in, and he came running.

I've had difficulties with the mug so i cleared all the way to the boss and 2 guards alone. Ended up taking all 3 at once as a paladin. Used my shield, one pot and lay on hands but it worked fine in the end. Used SoL and JoL.

It took me a pretty long time looking for Korgaah. Very frustrating, so Im gonna try and make it a bit easier for the others. There's a white ramp that leads to the 2nd floor of the building. (43,46) I'll post a screenshot soon.

As of 5/24/07 Korgaah IS linked to the other ogres in his tower. You'll need the beer to get him alone.

With the new patch the guards will aggro togeather with Korgaah. He is still very soloable though, just get some brew and lure him from his guards.

This really irked me. There are *at least* 3 mobs who will all be drawn to the beer before Kargaah. The elite mobs hit like trucks - I tried dropping an Earth Elemental totem to distract them while I killed Kargaah, and they killed it in about 15 seconds. In a fit of stubbornness I waited a while then went back & tried this again, but with earthshield on the Elemental & relying on DoT's to kill Kargaah.. succeeded this time, but only barely (I downed Kargaah as the Elemental died, then jumped backwards off the ramp, swapped to ghostwolf & ran like stink with 0 mana and not much health). A warlock may be able to pull a similar trick with a tanking demon or BM hunter with a tank pet.

Also: you can pull the two elites without pulling Kargaah. If you're feeling particularly game, you could try killing both of them and then him afterwards.

My conclusion: If you're soloing it, either bring a lot of beer or wipe out everything but Kargaah & the elites that's within 200 yards before using a beer.

I just killed Korgaah there are 3 adds there i think.

I just sended my pet on Korgaah first and let him had the aggro the adds hited him for a while then came on me i just fd then i started nuking Korgaah untill he diead about the same time my pet died then i just ran away from the mobs..

I did this quest pretty ezily as a 66 fist wep combat rogue... Korgahh was the harder part tho if ur a rogue u can skip the whole throwing the beer thing and wait for the non elite to pat down then sap one elite cheap shot korgaah blind the other elite and hit all of ur cooldowns and just kill korgaah and then vanish. then grimnok is ez hands down

Worked just fine for me tonight. Pulled the non-elite, the others don't add. Then set a brew down at the top of the ramp, right outside the door, Korgaah came alone. Easy beatdown, the sober defenders never moved.

Solo'd as a holy priest without the brew. Just mindsoothe the non-elites and Mind-control korgaah (make sure to hit all the mobs with his daze aoe thing). Right before Korgaah dies from the elites, right click the MC to let him go, and shadow word death him so you get credit for the kill. Then jump down and run along the side wall to escape unharmed.

The second one pulled someone from the ground-floor.

You will NOT want to run back and forth just cuz you didn't bring more than one brew.

For rogues just pull those 2 non-elites and then sap the other elite and use your cooldowns on korgaah. You maybe have to blind the other elite also as i had to.

As a mage, I popped my water elemental and had it frost nova right before my frost bolt hit and then ice lance. Nuke him down and then jumped off the ramp and hit invisibility. No need to kill any elites.

Warrior: clear the two non-elites first. Charge in, Intimidating Shout and Recklessness right after. You will die when the elites get back but it gets the job done.

Bring a FEW beers.

When I went I only had one, and he had the two elite guards and 2 regular brutes with him. Dropped the beer and the Brute came out. Had to run all the way back to get a few more.

Just bring a 6 pack and share.

After killing both brutes that are inside, I put the beer right outside the door, it didn't attract him or any below so then I used a second one closer to him, inside the door a few "feet" and it worked great, the elites didn't pull, easy.

Korgaah is up a STONE ramp. took me a good 20 minutes to find due to sucky coords. He's not up the same type of wooden ramp and tower like Grimnok is. Coords to RAMP 42.79, 46.70

solo'd this with my 68 lvl rogue. without any beers.

just made area safe, then pulled out non-elite and killed it outside. then sapped one elite, chipshoted korgaah and blinded second elite. when blind faded, korgaah was low on hp, so i used evasion and vanish after kill.

Perhaps I was just unlucky, but I found Grimnok pretty hard as a hunter.

The problem is, if you stand at any sort of range up the tower (ie 10 yards+) both him and his friend evade bug every few seconds, which means you need to nuke hard and fast or just pull him onto the ramp leading up to the tower, where the bug doesn't seem to happen.

Grimnok is alone at the top of a watchtower at 46,80.

Korgaah is accompanied by 2 elites and 2 non-elites at 43, 46. He is on the SECOND FLOOR of the building at those coordinates.

As a level 68 Mage I was able to pull the non-elites and kill them before dealing with Korgaah. I sheeped one of the elites and burned Korgaah down, then ran away. If you get in trouble health-wise, back off the ledge (small amount of fall damage) and bandage. Very simple.

OR you can get some Brew from the Brewmaster mobs and use that to pull Korgaah away from the elites.

solo'd with 67 BM hunt without beer. I just hit Korgaah (trinket, rapid fire and BF) use FD when i got agro his adds, kill Korgaah and jump down. Pet died, but who cares.

Killing 'Grimnok Battleborn' is ez mode, 'Korgaah' can be quite hard because he surrounded with 2 non-elite mobs and 2 elite mobs, for a priest is this still easy to solo. All you have to do is mind soothe them all then kill the non-elites first(you will not agro the rest if you do it right). Now re-mind soothe them all again and Mind Control 1 of the elite guards, now start killing 'Korgaah'. NOTE: That you only have 1 minute the time before you lose Mind Control, so once you lose it; the whole party will come after you so quickly psychic scream > DoT him with everything you have especially if you're a shadow priest, Vampiric Touch and Shadow Word: Pain him then just run away, after a few seconds you should have the kill! So no beer giving or whatever, did it this way :P

I dropped the brew outside of Korgaahs door twice and neither time he would come out. Finally I put on a soulstone and just burned him down. When the elites killed me I rez'd and whalla! Quest Complete.

Solo'd without beer as a 68 fury warrior:

- Take out non-elites as described in other posts
- Charge Korgaah, do NOT pull him out with a ranged weapon.
- Hit Intimidating Shout as soon as it's available, then hit Korgaah to break his fear. Hit all the damage cooldowns you have (blood fury, recklesness/retaliation, trinkets, whatever you got).
- Pull him outside and down the ramp by walking backwards, hitting him while you pull. This will give you more time after the fear breaks on the elites.
- After you kill him, run away! I got dazed and didn't make it but if you didn't kill everything around the tower you might be able to use intercept on something and get yourself more distance from the elites.

I died the first time I tried it because I feared outside on the ramp, leaving me noplace to run because one of the elites ran inside and the other ran down the ramp. The second time I feared them inside and was able to successfully pull him down to the bottom of the ramp and kill him before dying, despite having already used recklessness the previous try (he somehow managed to dodge both hits from whirlwind otherwise he would've died the first time). Stats: 8k HP, 5k armor, 25.8% crit, 983AP unbuffed, 60dps weapons. If at all possible I'd get rampage up and maxed when taking out the non-elites so you can use victory rush when you first charge, it helps a LOT if you've got high crit and decent AP.

We just single pulled the non elites outside. Then stealthed , shadow stepped behind each of the elites and sap one each.

Then burned down Korgaah and left the two elites wondering wtf happened.

I apologize if this was already posted, but this is what I did as a 69 moonkin druid (however wasn't in moonkin form). Now, I was really lazy, which is why I ended up using this strat.

I cleared the non-elites from Korgaah's room. I thought I could pull one elite solo, but both pulled, so I ran around the tower, kiting them in cheetah form, picking up other ogres, but they non-elites didn't seem to kite very far on me (as later when I ran around the front they were there again).

So I was back at the top of the tower, the ogres still running behind me a little ways back. I moonfire and insect swarm Korgaah. By then the elites are on the ramp, so I jump off. I wait for them to get off the ramp and come to me. I root the first elite. Moonfire/swarm Korgaah again. Cheetah form. Go around the tower and up the ramp. Wait. Moonfire/swarm. Jump off ramp. Wait. Root first elite. Moonfire/swarm Korgaah. Repeat until Korgaah is dead - then cheetah away.

I did swift heal once when I was getting dazed repeatedly by the ogres I was passing on front of the tower. It may help to clear those first.

Works as 57 67 MM hunter, Freeze trap one elite, set pet on Kargahh, when he dies, um run. pet dies maybe if you arent fast enough. mine didnt, but the jump down off the tower killed me because i pulled the elite and korgahh to me. Whatever he is dead.a

So I'm sure a few people will laugh at me, but I thought this was a little sad. I had finished the quests to head up to Ogri'la so the ogres were all neutral with me and won't attack me (well at least the Bloodmaul and Bladespire ogres) so I took this quest while trying to get the On the Blade's Edge achievement. So, I did the first two and came to this one, and this is where it get's a little sad.

I killed Grimnok and, of course, I was neutral with him and his guards so the guards just left me alone. However, when I called him he emoted "Me honored... king kill me". So in dumb ogre he was saying that his king killed him. If you finish the quests from Mog'Dorg the Wizened you will know about the "party event" that happens where all the ogres come and drink to you as their king. Ya, I know ogres are bloodthirsty and stupid (except those in Ogri'la) but it made me a little sad that I killed him after he thought I was his king.

So I abandoned the quest and finished the other group quests I had to get the achievement. Anyway, feel free to laugh at me for being sad for killing an ogre.

Soloed without beer as a 67 Ret Paladin. Took out the non-elite on the ramp, Repented one of the elites, and got the other to about 15% before it wore off. Popped Bladefist's Breadth to take the first out faster. Used HoJ and Holy Light to heal up against the first, then Hand of Protection/Holy Light and a health pot for the second. Ate and drank after finishing the second elite, and Korgaah was as easy as any other non-elite.

As of the January 2009 patch, there are two elites described as "Bladespire Sober Defender." So the trick is to take several Bloodmaul Brutebane Brews with you to the ramp, which looks deceptively like a rock at 42,46, behind a cage and a crate. Go up the ramp about two-thirds of the way and right click on your brew. This will set the brew down and attract, one at a time, the non-sober and non-elite defenders from either above or below you. Eventually, within three or four brews, you will pull Korgaah, a level 67 non-elite, leaving the Sober Defenders to wonder what happened to their boss as they drink their chai tea, which is of course kinda what T'chali tells you to do in the Quest Description. Easy pickins' as a 67 Ret Pally, or, I suspect, a 67 anything.

when u go to kill korgaah there will be two elites with two brutes. kill the brutes first then use some of that brew that u had to collect earlier to attact korgaah he will come by himself with no aggro.

Heres what I noticed (about Korgaah) and how I soloed it as a 66 lock:Korgaah is not elite! So...I sent my pet in to gather up all the mobs, focused on Korgaah, killed him and RAN! Worked like a charm. An evil, brimstone covered charm....

I think there is a bug. I killed Grimnok no problem. Got the brew. At first I killed Korgaah outright without using the brew but the quest said I didn't kill him. So I tried it a second time, killed the two easy adds then used the brew. He came running and I killed him again but still the quest says I didn't. I'm going to write the GM I think.

soloed as lvl 67 priest, MCed 1 elite attacked with him to kargaah until he had about 1k hp then dismissed that elite, 1 shotted kargaah who was with 1k hp left and run out. Walk in a park for priests :D

Grimnok was easy, only 1 Brute was on top the tower with him. Sapped the guard & killed Grimnok, then the guard. :)

Korgaah was just as easy, & it only took me 2 Brews. First, I had to kill a Brute that was coming up the ramp behind me. Once I did that, I stood outside the door and on the ramp (kind of around the corner from the door a few steps) & dropped a Brew. It pulled a non-elite guard from the room, whom I killed. I dropped a 2nd Brew in the same place & it pulled Korgaah to me in the same spot. The other non-elite guard & the two Elites guards never moved from their spots in the room. :)

Hardest part of this for me was figuring out where the room was, had to come here & read the directions others had left to figure out about the ramp outside the building. :)

Did it at lvl 67 boomkin, starfired korgath, dotted, then popped treants and jumped down. By the time he came down the ramp he was barely over 1k hp, couple of quick wraths and it was done, then travel form and ruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun :D

Don't be stupid like me: when you do the previous quest, Bloodspire Kegger, you are given 10 Brew. When you're done with that quest, you should 5 left over. They are in your bag.

This isn't working :C
I killed the first one, the other one, between the Elites won't count.
I killed both normal bodyguard, put beer near him, pulled him far away from the elites and killed him and it didn't count. I tried a few times, followed pretty much all comments here and it didn't work :/
I'm trying it for Loremaster on a level 100 char.

Think its safe to say that this has been fixed, dropped 10 brews and as soon as he is agro'd the elites come with him.. not sure how you can solo this at usual level, was chatting in general chat and it seems everyone having same issue. His agro is linked to the two elites so unless you have some kind of CC you are in for a bad time.

Description

T'chali has been waiting for his revenge!

The day they bury T'chali and leave him to die, it was Grimnok Battleborn that led them. And the next day it was Korgaah that come south to raid and kick T'chali in the head.

I want them dead!

You will find Grimnok atop the Southmaul Tower in Bloodmaul Outpost. You will find Korgaah in the top of a building at the north end of Bladespire Hold. Korgaah has sober defenders, so use the brew to distract him away from them, because they won't drink.
