This mount seems to be another drop from island expeditions, what's interesting is that the flavour text implies it has direct correlation to the upcoming island, Havenswood. No other expedition mount has been correlated to an island, as they've all been based off of killing enemies that seem to spawn on all islands by pure chance. It would be refreshing if this mount breaks the cycle!

I love the old school forsaken mounts but since there already is a lot of them too choose from I was kinda hoping that this one would have an updated model

Currently the only undead horse mount model without a saddle or bridle. Available to both Horde and Alliance.

Hopefully we'll see more colour variations and model updates in the future.

It's a real shame they release a lot of very nice looking mounts that don't fly. Once flying comes (BfA Pathfinder 2?) this would never get used again then I'm back to all my old standbys...

I just got this mount from a myt havenswood. This mount can drop if you find necromancers in the island. In my case, there were a few necromancers right at the start of the island (T1), i didn't kill them and still got the mount! Screenshot submited <

I just looted this mount from normal Verdant Wilds while leveling one of my alts. I was surprised as I assumed it only dropped from Havenswood.

I Started doing normal ie's on my Demon Hunter twink and when 兔子的咒符 came I bought a lot of them and sent them over to my main character and started running mythic ie's. I used three accounts while I was doing ie's. My other two accounts were afk on the ship while I was running around looting and gathering azerite on my main. (Since I had 3 accounts my total attempts are 14061) I wrote my attempts below as one account and my attempts as 3 accounts in parentheses.

If you are thinking "omg" after reading the other comments then dont worry as there is another way to get these island mounts ,which is way much better than this rng . So i have made some posts which i will be copy pasting here ,now the way to get these mounts is still rng but way much less than drop from island .There is a vendor near the Island Expedition Map Table - Captain Kitt for the Horde and Captain Nightrunner for the Alliance which sells some boxes ,those are only available 3 per week regardless of what island is underway and those boxes are 175 seafarers dubloons each . So i m just copy pasting the mount info from my main post .

Now these are the drops from 175 Seafarers-Dubloon Epic boxes , the other boxes for 120 Seafarers-Dubloon has a chance to drop Stonehide-Elderhorn and Surf-Jelly

Now there are like 3 to 4 items in each box which can include mount/pet/mog/azerite quest .
So Good Luck as the drop rate is around 20% give or take and doing mythic at this point is not that hard as it was before and u get quite a lot of duns from mythics .

Confirmed this can drop in Whispering Reef. Was bummed I wasn't getting Havenswood islands and was casually leaving a Whispering Reef Heroic and saw purple out of the corner of my eye - I leaped out of my chair... last island mount achieved!

Would be nice to see the undead horse updated. I'm confused as to why they never bothered to update old mounts.

Last one I need. Reading wowhead it seems I can aquire via islands with necromancers or havenswood salvage. I'm farming doubloons via mythic islands now incase I get a necro spawn. If not I'll have 2000 doubloons by next week and hopefully the havenswood salvage will be up.

I think I am the only one still trying to get this mount. I am on 200+ runs, multiple crate opens, and not a lot of will to carry on.

I can't help think this is also impacted by the undead enemies being bugged, that when they spawn in you can't touch them - which has been an issue for years.
