库卡隆战狼缰绳 is the first real announcement for a wolf mount to Alliance players, this will possibly get a lot of people out of the LFR-system just to get the mount.

Nice model, nice textures...but the faceguard is a bit plain, guess it's an OK ground mount until you get the Juggernaut.

It's nice to see a progression milestone mount for current content though, I hope they keep up the ahead of the curve rewards like this.

While it is nice to see progression-oriented achievements like this, especially when they reward things like mounts, I'm frankly surprised that Blizzard put them in, given the amount of QQ'ing that people like to do when they can't get things because acquiring those things requires hard work and having had to play during a specific window of time... a good example of this is the Naxx meta mounts that were unobtainable after Naxx was no longer current content..... well, unobtainable til the BMAH, since now if you have a !@#$load of gold you can get them anyway. The point is, I've already heard people who don't raid whining about how it's not fair that they can't get this mount from Flex or even LFR.... and before you downvote me, I don't agree with that viewpoint and I've already got it, so don't just assume I'm here to push for that, in fact I'm here for quite the opposite reason... People don't want to work for things anymore, or they'll use (as an excuse) statements like "I pay $15 a month just like everybody else, so I should get this or that just because I pay the same as player X." Statements like this are complete bull. The meta mount (which looks completely awesome, by the way, and is super-easy to obtain, since all of the achievements can be done in Flex and no longer require you to kill the bosses on Heroic) remains obtainable after SoO is no longer current content, just like every other meta mount since Naxx, and even the Heroic mount off of Heroic Garrosh remains obtainable (with a fair amount of luck), so I see nothing wrong with throwing a bone to those who manage to down Hellscream on the two most difficult modes while SoO is current content, and I hope that Blizzard continues to do so, especially if they tie in things like mounts to the achieves.

Agreed people do whine a lot so on that i agree but on other hand as myself included may not have time to play for full on raids nor have the oppurtunity due to arrogance of most raiding guilds just my opinion

I got Ahead of the Curve on 10-man months ago, but tonight I did it on 25, and when I looked at my pet journal, the preview model looked like a darker color. However, when I summoned it, it was still the same color. Not sure what that's all about.

Me and my guild is 13/14 still progressing, the only reason i still play wow is to get this mount and return once again in warlords of draenor.

The Garrosh Hellscream “Ahead of the Curve” and “Cutting Edge” Feats of Strength will cease to be obtainable.
This means that the Reins of the Kor'kron War Wolf awarded by the “Ahead of the Curve” Feat of Strength, will also cease to be obtainable upon release of the pre-expansion Patch 6.0.

With the exception of the 微光月亮石 (Which is only a temporary item), this is the only wolf mount available to the Alliance.

EDIT: Ok, with the launch of WoD, it's not anymore. But at the time of this post it was.

When you defeat Garrosh the mount will NOT be sent to you by mail, I got it yesterday and for the first half hour I waited for a mail from Mei Francis or Lorewalker Cho.
It is simply added directly under your mount/pet page.

Can confirm today that completion of Siege of Orgrimmar on Heroic difficulty, without doing Normal, does not award this mount.

Not sure if its just me but is the color different on the 6.0 ptr from live? IMO it looks alot better now and moves more fluidly.

The achievements that award this mount (10 and 25man normal mode Garrosh kills) have been changed on the PTR.

Right now, if you have a heroic kill only and no normal mode garrosh kill, if you copy a character over to the PTR you are given the AOTC achievement and this mount will be in your mount tab.

I don't like to post things from the PTR or Beta here, however, this one may be a big deal for some since the wolf mount has been confirmed by Blizzard to be going away.

There have been alot of people that have gone ahead and purchased heroic Garrosh kills and in turn, NOT received this achievement nor the mount. Alot of those people have chosen to go out and purchase a normal garrosh kill aswell, and they are then awarded this achievement and the wolf mount.

MMO champ have just posted up notes from Warlords of Draenor Beta - Build 18850 that change the way this achievement is worded.

As you will see "and higher" has been added to the wording of this achievement, which would leave most people to assume that if you have a heroic kill, you will more than likely get the wolf mount.

I would just like to say that farming this has been an absolute pain for someone restricted to pugs, but I downed Garrosh in 10N and got the 'chieve an hour before 6.0 server reset dropped and I about shat myself in joy. It's a beautiful wolfy and the group I was in was flawless. If any of you read this and remember Wintermute the Warlock, THANK YOU! You made the expansion worth it. :)

One of my favorite mounts. Will definitely be getting the Kor'kron Dark Shaman xmog set soon hopefully to match with the mount. Love it.

The real question is, why blizzard is keeping that to the mount collection tab for the ones who dont have it ofc. If they are not going to add it to the black market, why do they keep it to the mount collection for the users who dont have it?
