Beast Mastery Hunters are the most mobile ranged DPS spec in the game, and the only one that can do 100% of its damage while moving. This makes it incredibly good at dodging mechanics without sacrificing DPS, while

allows consistent damage throughout the dungeon as opposed to most other classes which deal damage in waves. Being very versatile and able deal decent damage in almost any scenario (i.e sustained AoE, burst AoE, single target, cleave), Beast Mastery Hunters are one of the best dungeon specializations.

: While fairly strong in single target and sustained AoE, with many options for more burst or cleave, the diversity does not lend itself toward excelling in any particular area like some other specializations.

Hunter Utility in Dungeons

- A long stun which should be used on mobs that are empowered or otherwise difficult to deal with. Shares diminishing returns with other stuns, so be sure to communicate with your party.

- Great for allowing tanks to kite in a small area. Try to use it in corners, choke points and other prime kiting areas.

- Our bread and butter in dungeons, useful in a multitude of different ways. If you accidentally pull mobs, you can use it to drop combat and reset them. You can pair this with

to perform skips that most other classes cannot do and you can even avoid certain abilities that are targeted on you to prevent damage altogether.

- Not often used since it's only a single target slow, however, it can be used when

In addition, Killer Instincts surpasses Dire Beast in priority target damage. Having an execute is also extremely useful, especially for affixes such as Raging. I recommend using

- Fires a projectile that snares enemies in place when they move out of the affected area. Unlike Legion, this ability no longer stuns so its usefulness has diminished. It is still the recommended talent to take in most dungeons when the extra root removal is not needed. It is especially good on Necrotic weeks, to help tanks drop stacks.

- Every time you cast

, your pet stomps the ground, dealing additional damage to all nearby enemies. This is our default Talent and should be used in almost every situation.
群兽奔腾
- Summons a herd of stampeding animals from the wilds that deal a large amount of damage for 12 sec. Stampede can be viable in certain dungeons depending on your gear and Azerite traits. You need 2 or more

traits for this to be worth. It also largely depends on how you pull the dungeon. If your tank is consistently pulling 2-3 mobs at a time, Stampede will never be worth it. It is typically better with frequent, larger pulls. It also helps when reaping is grouped up cleanly to quickly burst mobs down.

- Increases the damage of your pet's Basic Attacks by 30%. Also increases the effectiveness of your pet's Predator's Thirst, Endurance Training, and Pathfinding passives by 50%. Not only is this our best offensive talent, but it provides a pretty decent chunk of defensive utility as well.

a chance equal to your critical strike to increase Agility. Due to how often we cast it, this trait is pretty good in all scenarios. Dance of Death becomes better with high Critical Strike rating.

- A very good trait for M+, especially since

will be up for nearly every pack.
血祭之力
- This trait has a chance to give you a good chunk of Haste and the buff refreshes upon an enemy dying. Normally this is a very mediocre trait but in Mythic+, since mobs are constantly dying, Blood Rite has an extremely high up time (nearly 40% of the entire dungeon). This is an amazing trait. The downside is that you can only find it on
血腥恐惧面容
which you must obtain through Residuum.

- An extremely good trait when running Crit build. This trait has a fairly high proc rate and gives you a very large amount of Critical Strike, which synergizes well with

. Again, the only downfall to this trait is that it is only obtained on

- A very good trait for Beast Mastery Hunters since Haste is one of our best stats.

Stats and Azerite Changes
Baseline Stats
Typically, with zero azerite traits, Beast Mastery stat weights look as follows:
Single Target:
WDPS > Crit > Haste > Mastery > Versatility > Agility
AoE:
WDPS > Mastery > Haste >= Critical Strike > Versatility > Agility
Mastery is normally average in single target situations, but it sky rockets as our best stat for AoE. Critical strike is typically our best pure single target stat and falls off with more targets. Haste is fairly good in both AoE and single target so it's always a decent stat to have. Since dungeons are primarily AoE, Mastery takes the cake as our best stat.
Azerite Stat Adjustments
Certain Azerite traits will severely alter your desired stats in M+. Stats all have diminishing returns and like most classes, too many of one stat is typically bad. The same goes for Beast Mastery. The following Azerite traits will change what stats you want to aim for in M+:

- In an ideal setup, you should aim to have at least one Primal Instincts trait and one Rapid Reload trait. Primal Instincts gives you an enormous amount of Mastery and stacking up to 2-3 of these almost triples your total Mastery. Rapid Reload reduces the cooldown on Aspect of the Wild. Combined with Rapid Reload, most dungeons you can have an up time of nearly 40% of Aspect of the Wild. Due to how often you have this large amount of Mastery, it severely decreases the desire to gear and stack passive Mastery as it starts to reach diminishing returns.

- Dance of Death has an increased proc chance directly related to your passive Critical Strike rating. The more traits of these you have, the more important it is to stack Critical Strike. Mastery and Haste are devalued the more Dance of Death traits you have, in comparison to Crit.
The ideal setup will have one or more of these combinations. Both of these traits devalue Mastery and increase your desire to gear towards Critical Strike/Haste. Assuming you have one or both of these combinations, you should prioritize the following stats when considering gear:
WDPS > Crit >= Haste > Mastery > Versatility > Agility
Yes this is also our ideal single target setup which works out for us nicely!
What Stats Do I Run?
Assuming you have a standard build (multiple

), you want to stack all Critical Strike and Haste. Critical Strike is generally better in more single target oriented situations such as Tyrannical or King's Rest. Haste is typically better in AoE situations such as Fortified or dungeons with a ton of trash such as Freehold. Mastery is generally covered by your

traits so its not generally advised to gear for it unless you have zero Primal Instincts traits.

Mastering your Beast Mastery Hunter
Cooldown Usage
Bestial Wrath
One of the great things about Beast Mastery Hunters is how often our cooldowns are available.
狂野怒火
is basically available for every pack. So when do you want to use it? This takes a bit of practice but it varies per dungeon, per difficulty and per group. In layman terms, you want to use it any time the pack will survive for more than 10-12 sec. Remember,
倒刺射击
reduces the cooldown of your
狂野怒火
. There is also travel time between groups of mobs. Because of all this, holding
狂野怒火
will almost always result in an overall DPS loss for you.
So when should you hold
狂野怒火
?
If the pack will survive less than ~10 sec, it's probably a waste to use your
狂野怒火
. Remember that BM Hunters are not experts at burst damage. M+ is also not about pumping out as much damage as possible on the meters. Forgoing a little AoE damage to more efficiently take down the following pack is almost always a smarter choice in these situations.
You may want to hold your
狂野怒火
prior to a large, difficult pull (or prior to a difficult boss on Tyrannical weeks). Tanks often pull in waves, alternating between large and small pulls. If you're about to pull big, hold
狂野怒火
in preparation for the big dangerous pull about to happen, instead of finishing off a smaller pack. Remember Bestial Wrath has a ~40 sec cooldown. It is never worth holding it for more than 10-15 sec.
Aspect of the Wild
If you have any

traits,

becomes a huge cooldown for us. Similar to
狂野怒火
, you must think about how long the pack will survive, how dangerous the pack/boss are and whether it is more beneficial to hold it or to use it. You typically want to pair
野性守护
with
狂野怒火
for incredible burst damage, however, it's not always necessary. Again, do not hold onto Aspect of the Wild for too long or risk wasting casts of it.
Mastering your Pets
Whenever doing a dungeon as a BM Hunter, you need to be cognizant of where your pet is in relation to yourself, other mobs and even other party members. Your pet is an extension of yourself. Controlling your pets can be difficult, especially for newer Hunters. Unlike other pet classes, the majority of our damage comes from our pets (almost 65%), so if our pet gets stuck, dies, pulls other mobs on accident, or even just spends too much time traveling between mobs, it can be detrimental. Here are some things that most people don't think about when manipulating pets along with some recommendations:
Spirit Beasts, Bats, Stags and some other pet families have an ability that allows you to purge beneficial enemy buffs, as well as soothe enraged enemies i.e
. Try to preemptively be attacking the desired target to swiftly purge or soothe your target when the buff is applied or they become enraged. Your pet will simply use
on whatever target it's currently attacking and some manipulation must occur to properly soothe/purge the proper target.
Pet uptime is everything for BM Hunters. Try to use
杀戮命令
,
倒刺射击
, and even Intimidation to traverse long distances between enemies. The longer your pet is traveling between mobs, the less DPS you do.
Try to preemptively think about what pet you will need or if you will need to dismiss your pet for certain encounters or skips. Aside from using
嗜血
, certain scenarios might cater more to Ferocity pets as opposed to Tenacity pets for example. In general, your Tenacity pet will be the pet of choice, but if a swap is needed, try to find the optimal time to swap ahead of time instead of making your group wait. Likewise, find an optimal time to dismiss your pet instead of making the group wait.
Pets will not pull mobs or enter into combat that they run through while you are mounted. If you are not mounted and your pet crosses through a group of mobs, it will engage in combat.
Pets will pull mobs through

if they run through a mob. Be sure to dismiss your pet prior to performing a skip.
If both

and

are on cooldown, use

to quickly help your pet transition between enemies. I recommend taking
急奔
off of auto-cast so that you can manually use

when it suits the situation best.
Pets have a radius of cleave when using

. Make sure to position your pet in the center of the action to ensure you are hitting all mobs. Use

or even manually command your pet to attack mobs that are centered (unless a priority target needs to be burned down for whatever reason).
If you don't already have it bound, have a button for Pet Follow. Often times you will need to pull your pet back to prevent it from pulling mobs, to move it out of dangerous terrain or you might need to taunt mobs away from the tank.
Barbed Shot Usage
One of the many confusing elements of our rotation is when to maintain 3 stacks of
狂暴
and general
倒刺射击
usage. In raid, it's pretty simple. After your opener, you try to maintain 3 stacks as long as possible. Mythic+ makes it a bit harder in that you can't always maintain 3 stacks of
狂暴
, let alone even reach 3 stacks of
狂暴
on certain mobs. So what's the optimal
倒刺射击
usage?
The answer depends on the situation. Here are a few rules to follow in regards to
狂暴
usage:
You should
ALWAYS
end a Mythic+ mob with zero charges of
倒刺射击
. This is primarily to get the most out of
狂野怒火
cooldown reduction so that you can have it available as often as possible. Secondly, you have downtime in between packs, there is plenty of time to regenerate at least one stack of
倒刺射击
to start your rotation like normal.
If the mob pack will die in over 40 sec (Fortified weeks, higher keys, etc), perform your rotation like normal, refreshing
倒刺射击
at the last possible second.
If the mob will die, under ~40 sec, refresh
倒刺射击
as soon as possible while still being able to build stacks i.e refresh around 7 sec remaining on
倒刺射击
cooldown. Remember that damage tends to be front-loaded in M+ so on shorter mob packs, we're more concerned with getting stacks quicker to output more damage. Damage towards the end of a pack is typically not as important, so letting stacks fall off towards the end is okay.
In burst AoE situations when mobs live less than ~15 sec, precast
狂野怒火
and open with
倒刺射击
. Immediately cast another
倒刺射击
after applying
野兽顺劈
to ramp up your damage as soon as possible. This also pumps out more

damage quickly.
Rapid Reload Rotational Changes
I highly advise you to get a

, especially when doing keys with Reaping. Rapid Reload reduces the cooldowns of

and
灵龟守护
per target hit (triggers with 3 or more targets). This provides a ton of added damage and utility. The big thing here is that it effects
野性守护
. When paired with

, this becomes a major cooldown for us. Depending on how big your group pulls, you can reduce the cooldown of Aspect of the Wild a ridiculous amount. With Reaping, there are so many mobs that you can even overlap casts of Aspect of the Wild (although this is not recommended as it does not stack nor pandemics).
This also means that you want to alter your rotation if you have this trait and 3 or more targets are alive. For 1-2 targets, you will not benefit from cooldown reduction since the trait requires at least 3 targets. Between 3-4 targets, you typically want to perform your normal rotation as the cooldown reduction isn't worth forgoing

Common Mistakes
Not Utilizing Defensives
- Use defensives! If you don’t know the dungeon, learn where and what the damage patterns are and be prepared. Help your healers out. Dungeons are not about dealing the most damage, they’re about surviving and completing them the fastest. Deaths don’t help your team.
Not Utilizing Hunter CC
- Another common mistake I see Hunters doing is not utilizing all of our CC. Most Hunters completely forget about

Communication
- Communication is a key to successful dungeons. Calling out interrupts, calling out for heals or an external cooldown, telling the tank if you accidentally pulled something, etc will all help your party complete the dungeon faster and cause fewer wipes as a whole.
Simming Yourself
Raidbots
- The majority of players have no clue how to sim themselves, let alone how to sim for Mythic+ in particular. The easiest way to do this is by using

. It is a very user-friendly interface that runs the latest Simulationcraft. For a detailed explanation of how to sim yourself, refer to this video made by Azortharion

. For Mythic+ you have to think about certain situations. Mythic+ largely consists of 30 seconds to 1-minute windows of AoE damage and shorter boss fights usually between the 3-4 minute mark. Simming yourself in a default 5 min single target simulation does little for you. Raidbots has two modes that help approximate dungeons - Dungeon Slice and Hectic Add Cleave.
Dungeon Slice
- This is a very good approximation which factors in downtime between mobs and alternates between long single target boss pulls and multi-target mob pulls. The downside to this mode is that it severely underestimates mob count. While this mode was excellent for Infested, it does not factor in the large pulls of Reaping. This mode will naturally output more single target oriented setups.
Hectic Add Cleave
- This mode isn't entirely accurate in terms of a dungeon i.e it doesn't include downtime, it doesn't alternate between bosses/groups of mobs. Instead the entire sim is a single boss with waves of 6 adds that spawn every 30 or so seconds. While the sim itself isn't entirely accurate, this mode gives us a better estimate in terms of mob density. This mode is more accurate in terms of damage distribution but will overestimate things such as buff up times or DoT up times since there is no downtime being considered.
To get a fairly accurate estimation, take both of these sims into consideration. Of course, simming a dungeon accurately is rather difficult as group compositions, different pulls, and different affixes are all factors which cause variability. However, combined, these modes will give you a good idea on what the best talents, gear or traits are regarding M+. Use these combined with some common sense to pick the best option for you.

Macros
Controlling your pets in M+ makes or breaks a good Beast Mastery Hunter. With the pet change introduced in Battle for Azeroth, manipulating pets has become even more necessary in dungeons. Luckily for us, there are a ton of different macros that we can use, to make manipulating our pet easier.
Pet Attack
- It is a good idea to include the /petattack command in multiple abilities. This forces your pet to swap to your current target. I recommend adding this to

Tips for Affixes

- Fortified typically means you may want to pull trash cautiously since packs will live longer and deal quite a bit more damage. Use cooldowns as often as possible on trash. Be sure to use potions often, as trash will be more difficult than bosses typically. Sometimes it is recommended to use Bloodlust on major trash pack rather than on bosses.

- On

weeks, you want to tend towards a more single target mindset, considering most bosses are single target. Try to use cooldowns on important bosses rather than overusing them on trash as bosses are often much harder than trash. Tyrannical typically means pulling bigger in between bosses to make up for extended boss fights.

- Try to kill all the mobs around the same time to avoid buffing other mobs around it. Be careful around small adds that are normally easy to kill when they are grouped with a bigger add. Pull similar health mobs together during Bolstering week. Pulls can be quite different and tedious to group up this way but it will make the run as smooth as possible. If possible, make use of

and other CC to try and outrange the bigger add to prevent it from getting bolstered.

- BM Hunters are fairly good at killing orbs due to our instant cast spells. Use

Reaping
Seasonal Affix (Level 10)

(Season Two) - Reaping has replaced Infested in season two. Unlike Infested, Reaping encourages large trash pulls which is an exciting change. Reaping occurs in waves, indicated by the enemy forces count. For every 20% of enemy forces that accumulates (at 20%, 40%, 60%, 80%, and 100%), the previous 20% of trash will spawn as ghosts and charge towards the group. Here's a summary on how it works:
Mobs that spawn have 50% of the health based on the trash they represent. For example, a neutral blob in Shrine of the Storm with 100k health will have 50k health as a ghost. A mini-boss in Shrine of the Storm with 1.6 million health will have 800k health as a ghost. Reaping does not scale with Fortified or Bolstering.
Mobs will spawn as 3 unique types of ghosts, classified by what type of mob they were. Weak NPCs spawn as

, which simply deal 2% of the player's maximum health as magic damage for every successful melee swing. Caster NPCs spawn as

If you wipe to a group of reaping mobs, they do not despawn. Instead, they run back to their bodies (where the mob was originally killed) and have a 45-yard aggro radius. They will automatically pull as you're running back. Their health will also not reset, similar to Island Expeditions. If you were able to avoid the remaining Reaping mobs, they will still come with the following Reaping spawns.
When Reaping is triggered, the mobs come running from where they were killed. For example, if mobs were killed on the second floor of Tol Dagor for the first 10% and the third floor of Tol Dagor for the second 10% (of the total 20% necessary), when Reaping is triggered it will take the mobs from the second floor longer to get there. Ideally, you want to try to kill mobs in the same area to easily group up the mobs when they spawn. Planning efficient routes is key to swiftly dealing with Reaping.
Reaping mobs are not affected by affixes! They will not Bolster, do not get healed by Sanguine, they will not spawn Explosives, etc.

Rezan is typically the first boss you will fight, depending on your route. On Tyrannical weeks, groups typically take the route of going to Rezan first to get

Boss Tips
Vol'kaal is a two-phase encounter. Phase 1 is pretty simple. Kill totems at the same time! Once totems have died, Phase 2 begins. Phase 2 consists of quickly burning the boss whilst dodging multiple toxic pools he leaves on the ground. It is recommended to use

during this fight, especially on Tyrannical as Vol'kaal can get dicey.
Coordinate with your party and assign totems to each of the DPS. Make sure to kill the

together, else they will regenerate and you will have to start over.
Stay relatively clumped together to maximize available space.

Freehold has many possible routes, some better than others depending on the affixes for that particular week. Freehold's 2nd boss also rotates based on the week, having 3 possible boss combinations in total. Depending on which pair are up, a different event prior to the boss must be completed. Pull count and routes will differ based on which event is active that particular week. Pulls may also differ based on Tyrannical or Fortified based on lust timings. Once you get into the area where you fight Skycap'n Kragg, you must first pull one of two packs to spawn him. The pack of two

s just before his room, or the pack of Enforcers and dogs below the stairs.
Boss Tips
Skycap'n Kragg is a two-phase encounter. Starting out, he will engage you while riding his parrot mount, Sharkbait until he reaches 75% health. At that point, he will dismount and Sharkbait will begin to bomb the sky.
Ranged players can stand at max range to avoid getting hit by

, which can almost one shot you one higher Tyrannical keys.
Starting in phase 2, you can stand outside of the arena in phase 2 to reach max range as well as completely avoid

. Be sure to stay within the arena for phase 1 though. If Skycap'n Kragg casts

Sharkbait will cast

Skycap'n Kragg can be tanked just outside the arena, allowing melee to avoid

and, if someone is properly baiting it, melee will also never have to move for

The hardest abilities to deal with here are the

s respectively. Be sure to not be in a line with the rest of your party as getting multiple stuns at once can be deadly.

They cast the trap where you were standing at the start of their cast, so they can easily be avoided as long as you start moving when they cast it. Some classes such as Druids and Shamans can clear the Rat Traps without taking damage by shapeshifting. Havoc Demon Hunters can

the traps as well.
In this area, there are 3 possible events that must be completed to activate the Council o' Captains. Completing the event will cause one of the three captains to become friendly and aid you in battle (meaning you only have to fight 2 of the 3 each week).
Captain Jolly
If players spot a pug in this area, this means that once the event is completed, Captain Jolly will become friendly. Players will need to chase the pug to several different spots, eventually unlocking a cage holding Lokhtos Darkbargainer. Unlocking the cage causes Captain Jolly to become friendly and completes the event. Hunters, Mages, Rogues, and Druids can all chase the pug without actually having to pull all the trash in this area due to stealth. Hunters take

Captain Eudroa
If players spot several Vulperas that are highlighted, this means that once the event is completed, Captain Eudora will become friendly. Players will need to speak to one of the Vulpera. Doing so will get you drunk for 1 min. All 5 party members must do this in order to complete the event. Typically, the easiest Vulpera to talk to is the one near the building, closest to the Council o' Captains fighting area.
Captain Raoul
If players spot two highlighted
黑齿拳手
attacking a target dummy in the middle of this area, this means that once the event is completed, Captain Raoul will become friendly. Players will need to engage the two in combat to start the event. Once started, four additional enemies will run towards the group. Once all 6 enemies have been defeated, Captain Raoul will become friendly.
For all these events, completing the events cause nearby trash mobs in the Council o' Captains fighting area to go friendly. Depending on pull count, you may want to wait to start the event until this trash is cleared because once they become friendly, you cannot use them for trash percent!
Prior to the boss fight, you must now clear some more trash. There is another pack of

s walking up and down that must be killed. There will also be some

s introduced in this area.

Captain Raoul & Captain Eudora (Captain Jolly friendly)
The bartender will also throw beverages throughout the fight, having 3 different effects:

Boss Tips
The Ring of Booty is a 3 phase event. Note that the role play between each event takes a decent amount of time and it is advisable to pull surrounding trash during each intermission to minimize downtime.
Phase One
: Catch Lightning. A little pig called Lightning spawns and the group must click on him 5 times in order to be picked up. As of patch 8.1, Lightning no longer spawns in a set spot but randomly throughout the arena.
Phase Two
: Fight Ludwig.

is a simple single phase encounter. Players simply have to deal with increasing numbers of

throughout the fight. Ludwig also scales with Fortified as opposed to Tyrannical, despite being part of a boss event.
Phase Three

is the real boss encounter here, and is one of the most difficult dungeon bosses in Battle for Azeroth, especially for melee. Luckily as BM Hunters, this is a boss we really shine on. Most groups typically will want

for this boss, especially on Tyrannical weeks. You may want to go to Harlan and backtrack to this boss depending on

timings.
Trothak will cast

, throwing sharks to random ranged party members. The

will then fixate the nearest party member. Sharks move very fast and must be slowed by kiting them over patches of

As a BM Hunter, you should actively be trying to get sharks from others since your DPS is not effected from kiting these. Use

Unfortunately, Aqu'sirr has a very large hitbox and our pets default to behind him. If he dashes near trash mobs, our pet's Stomp will sometimes pull. Swapping the direction he faces fixes this issue!
Likewise, if you left trash up and Aqu'sirr ends up near it, don't use

. It is not a guarantee, however as he chooses a party member at random. But, if he were to choose you while you had

up (or any other immunity), you will ignore Ancient Mindbender and will not get mind controlled. If it works, this saves a ton of time.

After you return to phase 1 and spawn

, you can simply kite the boss around while you slow and CC them. The boss will not spawn more if you have another phase so you never have to kill them.
Once you return from phase 2, Vol'zith will channel

Siege of Boralus is a very straightforward dungeon. It’s very linear so there aren’t very many alternate routes to take.

As you cross the ship to get to Dread Captain Lockwood, be sure to dismiss your pet. It will often get stuck here.

Dread Captain Lockwood will eventually jump off the ship without firing the cannon. As soon as phase 2 is about to start again, quickly kill the Cannoneer and instantly phase her using his cannon. This was the previous strategy using Sub Rogues to quickly burn the boss down while having a bunch of adds up. As of 8.1, Subtlety rogue priority target damage has been nerfed, so this may no longer be worthwhile.

Can not use potions and Rogues cannot stealth. Hunter's are able to

After defeating Hadal Darkfathom, the portcullis to the southeast will rise and grant access to the path. As players travel down this path, several swirly circles will appear on the ground. Bolts will land in these areas, dealing a large amount of frost damage to anyone hit. These will often one shot you so be careful to avoid any unnecessary deaths.

These keys will open prison cells on the next floor. It is recommended to have a Rogue or Inscriptionist as finding keys can be rather time-consuming.
As the party runs up the stairs to the next level, they will encounter

By freeing certain prisoners, you get buffs. Unlocking all of these gates can be useful but takes some time. The location of each prisoner is random every time, however, the buffs received correspond to the race that you set free:

Tauren/Draenei - 1% Mana/Health every sec

The Heartsbane Triad is a three-phase encounter where players will have to deal with three different bosses simultaneously. buff, reducing damage taken (pointless to AoE!). The active boss will be holding the

Lord and Lady Waycrest is a two-phase encounter. Initially, the party will only deal with Lord Waycrest while Lady Waycrest fights from afar. The party must whittle down Lord Waycrest's health. When he reaches 30% health, Lady Waycrest will siphon part of her life in order to fully heal Lord Waycrest. This will also buff Lord Waycrest with
腐败活力
and is repeated 4 times until finally, Lady Waycrest jumps down and joins the fight. This is primarily a Tank and Healer fight as it is mostly a target dummy for Hunters. However, there are a couple of things we can do to make the fight easier.

if it's available) for when Lady Waycrest joins the fight. This is the hardest part of the fight and puts a major strain on your Tank and Healer. The quicker one of the bosses falls, the better.
When Lady Waycrest joins the fight, despite appearing to have less health, Lord Waycrest actually has less health and should be prioritized first. He will also do more damage to the tank due to

One group will spawn at a time, the order of which is randomized every dungeon.
The bottom right group consists of two mobs,

has some travel time, which allows us to quickly dodge this. Melle aren't as fortunate considering their travel time is next to nothing. If you do get caught in a pool, use

to quickly avoid damage and remove yourself from the slowing pool. Try to stand far away to allow yourself more time to dodge.
The far-left group consists of

Boss Tips
The Council of Tribes is a three-phase encounter where the party will have to deal with a singular boss one after the other. The order in which the bosses appear changes each week. Once a boss is defeated, they will stop engaging the group directly, but their signature ability will be cast periodically throughout the other boss fights.

is a single phase encounter in which the group must intercept energy beams that empower the boss. This boss takes extreme coordination to do properly. Upon reaching 100% energy, Galvazzt will cast

dealing massive AoE damage and granting him a stack of

. Players must take turns soaking due to ramping stacks of

which is gained by soaking energy beams. Galvazzt will also do consistent damage to the group via frequent casts of

This fight is most likely the most healing intensive boss in any dungeon. Use

can be used to immune an entire pillar. Stacks will not increase and damage will not be taken while it is active. This allows you to drop stacks on the second pillar allowing you to soak three pillars in a row if necessary.

After defeating Galvazzt, the group will head north where you will encounter a series of mini-games. The first of these games mimic the previous game but with a slightly different pattern. During the second game, your group must cross a bridge with rows of

The groups objective in this area is to carry the Eye's of Sethraliss to the giant snake skull at the end of the room and place them in the eye sockets. Of course, on the way, there will be hoards of

s preventing you from reaching the end. If an Orb Guardian comes into contact with one of the eyes, he will steal it from the carrier, forcing the group to kill him before he will give up the orb. This area takes extreme coordination to pull off efficiently. Certain weeks such as Necrotic and Sanguine make this area a nightmare to deal with.
Typically, depending on affixes, this area is easily and efficiently done with a Tank death run. The Tank runs around the room gathering all of the important mobs and kites them around the room. Once the Tank is far enough away, the orb carriers run to get the orbs and place them in the eyes without getting in combat. If they do get into combat, make sure to have a battle resurrection available. Druids excel in this area. They are able to shift into travel from near the

and carry another member on their back who is able to pick up the orb.
Hunters are able to use

to bring a few

s out of stealth around the area.

s are the primary concern in this area. The other smaller mobs will keep respawning so padding on them does not necessarily help complete the dungeon faster.
Running into any mob (not just

s) cause the orb carrier to drop it. Make sure to take a smart path to the snake skull.
Once your group has managed to safely get past the snake skull, you will have to make your way down some stairs, prior to entering Avatar of Sethraliss' room. Along the way your group will encounter

s, neutral

s and some
瘟疫博士
s. Heart Guardians become active as soon as the other mobs are pulled.
If a Rogue is in your group, skip all of this trash using

. In the final phase of Avatar of Sethraliss, your group will receive a buff, increasing your damage and decreasing all damage taken. Once all party members have this buff, backtrack and pull all of the trash into the boss room to get easy percent.

Boss Tips
Unlike any other boss in Battle for Azeroth, instead of killing it, you must actually heal the

, reducing the healing they do to the Avatar.
Focus down the

s while cleaving onto the Hexers. Watch out for

Underrot
Underrot is another straightforward dungeon for the most part. There may be some slight variability in what your tank might prefer to pull, or routes might change slightly depending on affixes. In general, the same trash will be pulled in the same order. Below are some typical routes ran by some of the top M+ers.

s have two abilities the party should be concerned with. First, Matrons will leap to a random party member and begin to cast

. Warcry is again an uninterruptible cast which enrages Matrons, granting them 100% additional Haste for a period of time. This ability makes Matrons very scary. Luckily, our pets are able to Soothe this ability and should do so as soon as possible.
As of patch 8.1, you can no longer use

to skip all the way to the first boss.

as a high priority. Dark Reconstitution will heal nearby allies, prolonging the fight. Additionally, priests will cast

, buffing nearby enemies, increasing their damage and preventing them from dying. This buff should be interrupted and must be purged before proceeding. Use our pets to purge this ability should it go through.
Once this area is cleared, the group will have to choose between two bridges. Look ahead to the platform in the middle of the bridge. One bridge will have significantly more trash. The side with more trash alternates every time. Choose the bridge with the least amount of trash and proceed. Going down the bridge you will run into another

After killing the pathing Matron group, the group of mobs in the center of the bridge is typically skipped using

. During the channel, that player will deal splash damage to other party members within 4 yards to try to loosely spread on the platform.

is a single phase encounter where the party must deal with a few simple mechanics and manage casts of

to succeed. Additionally, watch out for

cast throughout the fight. Leaxa will spawn an add, replicating her abilities while it's alive. As of patch 8.1, Leaxa will now only spawn a single
鲜血雕像
, making this fight much more manageable.
Interrupting
噬血箭
is a top priority. Letting these casts get out of hand will cause an instant wipe. On higher Tyrannical keys, even letting one of these casts through may cause a wipe.

will always travel in a straight line from where it spawns. Be sure to move out of the way quickly since the platform has limited space to move.

After killing Elder Leaxa, proceed down the stairs into

s room. There is a ton of trash in this area. Efficiently pulling this trash is the key to timing Underrot. In this area you will find some more

s will fixate random party members, dealing a good chunk of damage with every hit. Do NOT try and kite these without some sort of slow. Communicate with your group and rotate stuns (

), knockbacks or other abilities to prevent damage. Kiting Bloodswarmers does no good since they will simply jump to you as soon as you are out of range. It is better to loosely kite them around the other mobs to allow other DPS to cleave and deal more damage to them, killing them faster. Hunters can use

to redirect

s off of you, but they will re-target you fairly quickly. Try to pull no more than one at a time. It is very easy to become overwhelmed by their damage and relentless pursuit.
In addition to their pursuit and damage,

, dealing massive AoE damage to the entire group. This should be interrupted on high priority and

s should be focused down as soon as possible.

s are another dangerous mob. Their

ability may stun party members for up to 30 sec and should be interrupted as often as possible. This ability can be dispelled by healers that can remove disease. The stun will be removed once the stunned player has received enough healing. Healers should prioritize healing stunned party members. Do not pull too many of these as it is very easy to miss interrupts and get overwhelmed. Use stuns, knockbacks or displacement abilities to help interrupt them.

Your top priority in this fight is to step on all

s, even if you must sacrifice some damage. The additional damage these do to the tank and party when they die will easily wipe the group. On certain weeks such as Necrotic, even a couple of ticks can be detrimental.
The group should group up near a wall prior to
冲锋
. This will cause Cragmaw to run into the wall, reducing the area that the
血虱
s spawn.
Avoid standing in front of the tank due to

.

and any other movement speed abilities at your disposal to step on as many ticks as possible. It is beneficial to setup up quadrants that party members are responsible for to reduce overlap. In some cases, it may be beneficial to use a

There are several notable trash mobs on the way to Sporecaller Zancha. In the hallway after Cragmaw, the party will run into groups of

s burrowed underground. Their locations can be spotted by a red/grey cloud rumbling underground in certain locations.

on themselves, absorbing a moderate amount of damage. This ability can be purged off with our pets. It is recommended to use

to dispel all of the Guardians at once.

should also be interrupted as much as possible.

s. Be sure to interrupt this as this will not only prolong the fight but could cause a wipe with certain affixes such as Bolstering.

on themselves. This should be Soothed using our pets.
Once engaged,

s will repeatedly cast

to all party members within 50 yards. This ability needs to be interrupted as often as possible, so avoid pulling these with too many other mobs. Horrors are also immobile and cannot move. Keep this in mind when other mobs are involved.
Prior to engaging Sporecaller Zancha, the party must deal with two dangerous
血誓污染者
s. This pack is able to be skipped, however, due to the nature of Zancha's encounter, it is not recommended because of space constraints. Defilers have three abilities that the group must watch out for.
暗影箭雨
is top priority. It deals massive party-wide damage and should be interrupted.

should also be interrupted. It will place a magic debuff on all members of the party, reducing damage players deal by 10% and increasing damage taken by 10%. If this ability is let through, Hunters can use

to cancel the channel on them.
Defilers will also cast

, summoning a totem that will stun all members in the area of effect after a short period of time. Players can either interrupt the cast, kill the totem once it spawns or simply move away from the totem. It is recommended to save interrupts for

and
枯萎诅咒
and to just move away from the totem. Be wary of where your pet is located since

will also stun Hunter pets. You may have to manually move your pet away if the tank did not move far enough.

is a single phase encounter where the group uses the boss abilities to clear spore pods around the room that will otherwise erupt, dealing massive damage to the group. When Zancha reaches 100 energy, he will cast

causing all existing spore pods to explode. For each spore that exploded, the entire group will gain a stack of

s dealing massive damage over time. Zancha will cast

towards the tank and

on random party members. The goal is to use these two abilities to clear as many spore pods as possible before Zancha casts

s. They will deal damage to the location you were standing at when they spawned, so simply sidestep away.

s to spawn. Killing these will siphon a portion of the Unbound Abomination's life force away. A total of six adds must be killed to complete the fight.

will join your group during this encounter, helping you to kill

s. Throughout the fight, the Unbound Abomination will spew
邪恶污染
in a frontal cone towards a random party member. Additionally, the group will gain stacks of
腐败之血
via the Unbound Abomination or by getting hit by other abilities. Finally,

s will be floating around the room which further crowds the area.
In addition to helping you kill adds,

will also cast
净化之光
periodically. Standing in this aura will cleanse all stacks of
腐败之血
from the group. Try to stand in every one of these if possible.
Use

and other defensives when you have high stacks of
腐败之血
. The damage can quickly ramp up.
Try to bait out
邪恶污染
towards previous pockets of corruption or towards the outside of the arena. On higher keys, you must conserve as much space as possible as this fight may take awhile.
Do not waste DPS on
血面兽
until the final two adds have spawned.
泰坦守护者赫兹雷尔
will kill both adds by himself and dealing more damage to the Unbound Horror's

(which will spawn more adds faster) is more important than wasting DPS on adds. As soon as the last two adds spawn, direct all damage to them since DPSing the

is no longer required.
Don't waste DPS on killing

s. Most classes have some sort of passive cleave that will clear the area as needed. If there are no other options,
