Sigh.. why did Blizzard not learn that stuff like that should NOT be equippable or at least not for a slot where you usually wear items with stats? Especially with the "no equip cooldown" it makes not much sense.

I use this two-click macro in conjunction with Outfitter to equip the cloak on the first click, and then use the cloak and switch your outfit back to whatever your current spec is (I'm a Holy Paladin with a Ret offspec). Outfitter automatically replaces the cloak with whatever is your "main" cloak is for that spec after the teleport finishes casting.

/equip Shroud of Cooperation
/use Shroud of Cooperation
/outfitter wear Holy; wear Retribution

Actually, this is very handy even after hasty hearth. You can set your hearthstone to where you do most dailies, then use this to get to SW. In WotLK, I used Kirin Tor ring to port to Dala which let me set my HS to Argent Tourney while grinding dailies for the mounts there. I'd expect to do similar with this.

I think this is incredibly useful if you are doing dailies in Northrend, Tol Barad and/or your faction capital at the same time. Set your hearthstone to Dalaran for the Northrend dailies and then use this to get back to your capital city, which has a portal to Tol Barad.

There is also a Tol Barad tabard which is similarly useful.

I experienced the craziest bug with this item. Turning in a Vash'jr quest, THIS item was offered as a reward. WHAT! Of course I took it. I knew something was horribly wrong, especially when the cloak's icon showed in my bag as that lovely red question mark on a black background. I was about to try using the item when WOW experienced a critical error and shot down. Logging back in, I saw the cape had been replaced with a much more reasonable quest reward.

Best part, though: I got the item on a Horde character. Oh, how I wished I had been able to use it just once....

This is a cloak slot because at one point before Cataclysm was released Blizzard was planning to have an "overcloak" category. For example the Gnomeregan Drape was not going to be a cloak, but an overcloak. You can see what Blizzard was thinking in this overcloak that never made it in game.

It's logical to assume that all these stat-less on use cloaks (like Cloak of Coordination) were all going to be overcloaks at some point. Blizzard must have decided it wasn't working well enough to implement and just made them into cloaks. Perhaps one day they will become overcloaks.

It's level is 359 but its level requirement is 35. Which means a cataclysm-tier enchantment could be placed on this item and worn by a level 35 player. (The only downside is the item required honored with the guild, and you'd likely find a cloak with better stats than any 285+ enchantment by then.)

edit: changed in 5.1, these cloaks can now be used be transmogrify normal cloaks!

TLDR version: At this time, you can not use this cloak to transmogrify your actual cloak, the one with combat stats.

While the function GetItemTransmogrifyInfo states that, unlike previous tiers of the guild cloak, this item's appearance can be used as a source for transmogrification, this cloak is unlike cloaks with stats in that is it not Cloth, but Miscellaneous, a different type of armor - which Wowhead does not display, it puts all items that can be equipped in the "Back" slot under Cloaks - and thus incompatible for transmogrification with the cloak you have equipped. As per the Armory, the guild cloaks are in fact the only miscellaneous cloaks.
(Yes, miscellaneous items that fulfil transmogrification's requirements can be used to transmogrify other misc. items, but not those of the "true" armor classes Cloth, Leather, Mail or Plate, the biggest use of this is letting your 大厨的帽子 look different while cooking)

So, to make this item useful for transmogrification, they'd have to classify it as Cloth.

The Wowhead description is incorrect. This item requires Reverd guild reputation (not Honored).

In other words, the description should end with "and reaching Revered reputation with your guild."
