For its level, this armor has an incredible amount of healing; if you're a resto druid at level 50, you will love this piece; you should be set for all the way to Outland.

The only drawback is the somewhat low stats, but pre-BC it's hard to get leather like this.

For Balance Druids with Heirloom Weapons, this is a huge upgrade over the previous pieces (personal favorite is the Dreamweave vest)

The Jinxed Hoodoo Set (Kilt and Skin) is better stat-wise for Restoration Druids or Dual Specc'd Resto/Kins

which one is more useful, there will be debate on it. One thing for sure is, this is way better than the stupid wildheart chest.

I believe this is the highest plus to heal leather piece available. It'll be fun wearing this instead of cenarian or stormrage just to get guildies to be like wtf. Ironically since I cast only rejuvination and rank four HT this is better than stormrage formost fights. Imagine that. :)

Yeah, deciding to take this chest over the big spirit on Wildheart, or the other stuff from Chestplate of Tranquility... Guess I'll try them out and see.

anyone knows if the last part of the quest is soloable?

I've been told that it is soloable, that u can stealth in and activate all the statues. Supposedly it is also possible to pull him seperatly from the other mobs in the water. He has a knockback effect so you need to stand in one of the alcoves.
I can't confirm this , gonna try it soon.

Anyone know if this is better than the set of Ironfeather. I mean I know it adds more plus healing, but the stats aren't very good, while the Ironfeather's are very good. Anyone know which one will be better? Oh and does this quest give rep for Cenarion Circle? Please and thank you!

As a lower 50s level druid I wasnt sure what to take for my quest reward. This was only slightly better than the living chestpiece I was wearing. I took it anyway and haven't regretted that decision yet.

The +healing is fantastic. I'm level 60 now and am regularly running ZG and MC. I still wear this chestpiece, and plan on switching it out only when I get Cenarian or Zandalar breastpieces. This means it is by far the longest lasting piece of equipment I am still using. If you are debating which reward to choose when completing this quest, you can't go wrong with Forest embrace.

I am a 56 feral druid (0/31/14) with some highly impressive feral stats. I tank my ass off, study warrior guides to learn more-have played a rogue so cat is second nature etcetera. The major point here-I take being the healer very seriously!

Now as all feral druids know, we DO get called upon to heal regularly, especially during our PUG career. There have ben many times that I wanted to MT or DPS but, without a priest and shams that have 3k mp I had to take on the role for safety reasons :)

I keep 3 sets in my bags (a slightly overlapping amount of cat/bear items) and a healing set that gives me a sorry 3100 hp (so the party had better keep the heavy hitters teh hell away from me!) and a whopping 6200 mana without AI or pots and non MotW buffs. This is augmented by Innervate, mana pots, demonic runes and whatever else I can fiond that run on differing timers and +94 healing-this all leads me to having an emergency mana output of around 10k (rank 8 & 9 healing touches with regowths first; the faster cast time and HoT helps pave the way for a 3.5 sec nap time and a FAT heal from HT)

Anyways, other than being a mage-like INT $%^&* I look for items that are going to add to my heals-I have IronFeather breastplate (and shoulders for set bonus) but I think that it is sub-par stat wise. I want stam and more int! I want a better passive bonus! This piece will get you at least higher armor and a better +healing. I have put off doing this quest for some time now but I think that this is the best healing chest until

So head on over to Temple and go downstairs-it's worth it. I will later today. By the way...I outheal priests all the time! I just wish druids had Fade to send aggro back but hey, I have no problem clicking off a few last minute heals, slapping a regrowth on myself+healing pot and dropping into bear form until the aggro is taken back or I kill whatever is attacking me.

while not greatest chest out there for 60's, it's better I think the the rank 8 chest peice I was using for caster gear before I got it. I wanted to do this quest since druids finnaly have a class quest,and the rank 8 chest I had was way better for feral than the feral chest, the Ironbark staff from AB (that I had already) blows away the staff reward, so I took this. 2 maned the sunken temple part with a rogue buddy. Might have been able to solo it, but the rogue is a RL friend, and was bored and asked to come, so I'll never know.

I will say that as you build a gear set you will often be trying to max out 1 thing, be it healing, int, healing/damage, or mana/5. If you chose to go + healing for mana efficency/long term endurance healing, this will prolly get you by untill you hit the cenarion chest.
