2-piece proc bonus is called "Survival Instinct". Proc rate is 15% with 10% chance to critically heal

It can proc off any hit including claw and bite, other pet abilities not tested.

It's a shame that https://www.wowhead.com/wotlk/item=30054 which drops from hydross is better then this chest that drops from kael.

This chest is so bad , comparing it to Ranger General's Chestguard is very inferior - mp5 is useless imo , better f or blizard to put extra int on items ( cuz of viper effecT)

This Set is Tight! Love the Rift Stalker Mantle. Lightning Comes off it. Too bad im only lvl 55 :(***. 15 lvls to go :)

The 2 Piece set bonus is really nice......but the 4 piece is freaking amazing! I use steady shot ALOT so i will love that.

surely t5 stats should be easily in the mid to high 30's? and a measly 50 atp? considering the time and effort required to get this set its stats are ridiculous. not to say either that it looks like its made out of stuff found at a jumble sale. t1 we looked like bullets with GS hats on, t2 we looked damn fearsome, didnt have t3 myself but the graphics still looked like you were a badass...this one...its a mess and has no style, even the t4 looks so much better. t5 priest though .... wow, why not put some effort into style as well instead of giving us this 'my granny made it so i have to wear it' looking gear?

I'm sorry but if you look at Shaman T5 or Warlock T5 and Warrior T5, you can't say anything else then that it loks totally awesome. Not just to 'only' praise Blizzard, but some of those pieces are one of the most impressive untill present date. Some peices like indeed this Hunter one I would've liked this little set be more flashy cuz also the last ones were not really gangbangin' like warlock sets but I think except for the T3 one this looks the best for hunter yet.

This hunter talk STFU about locs and priest. Yea it looks pretty stupid compared to the others but looks are not everythingi would rather have kick ass stats then have something that makes me look cool any day.

Looks will matter when you are sitting at OG or SW and u look like a freak with this crap on now our t4/t3 looks pretty amazing y cant we get something like that but we get stuck with this

What do you have to need to buy this armor? Do you have to be exalted or must i have some sort of marks colected? What do u need? Am asking coz it doesn't say anywere what one will need so that you can buy this set of armor.

I have been to Veynna Dawnstar in the Seer's Library at Scryer Rise and of course would like to buy this item. I don't recognize the symbol required to purchase the Hauberk; does anyone know what the symbol is? After reading the posts on this item I'm just about as confused as ever. What is required to purchase the items from Veynna Dawnstar?

These are still a long way off for me, but I gotta add my 2c, Yeah, It may be Ugly But.... Another Hunter that has done his research and wearing lower gear (Glad Set) will know what your wearing and probably crit his pants if your shooting at him! I wear the Glad set still.... I have researched and established goals of where/how I want to advance in my Armor/Weapons...
I play tons of BG's and see all kinds of combo's, I just wish that sometimes some of the other races would see what I saw on a Hunter and put some extra effort onto him! There was a Tauren Hunter in AV wearing this set and carrying the Sunfury... I was on Turtle and I started screaming T5 Hunter w/Sunfury.. Take him out.. All I got was a buncha "So what!" and "What is T5?", "What's a Sunfury?" Grrrrrrr ... The ugly Blue Hunter with the big yellow bow! Finally I had to do a /y "THAT MEANS HE'S GOING TO KICK OUR A$$ES!" Which by the time I convinced them to attack him... He had kicked about 10 of us back to the GY. I couldn't figure out what a T5 geared hunter was doin in AV until I looked him up on WoW Armory... He was missing several Gems, Ahhhh.... PvP vendor gems...
I Thought the Field Marshal set looked awesome back at LvL 60, I was a lvl 64 wearing a hideous pair of HUGE HIDEOUS repulsive Red Blood Knight Pauldronsof the bandit" shoulders that had awesome stats but I couldn't stand the horrendous looks so I "wasted" 8500 Honor and 20 AB tokens to wear the 60 Epic Field Marshal's Pauldrons all the way to 70. 8500 honor that I could have spent on a PvP vendor Gem :( and then I found that I got attacked more when other classes saw the shoulders and wanted to "see what you got" in fighting ability.
Yeah, it may be ugly but any other class that researched and knows what your wearing.... Will call for back-up b4 they try to gank you or just plain "Run like hell!" (I love wearing the Glad Set and land next to a Mage and watch them start "Blinking".. Not so much to Gank them, Just laugh as they freak out!" Just land and /y "BOO" I don't know what that translates into, But they know if means "RUN!")
If your lucky enough to own/wear the full set, 3 Red, 3 Yellow, a Blue and a Meta Socket= Massive Pawnage!
