Dire maul should easily be Soloable (I used to do it with a rogue and a warrior and Myself at level 60)

There is a special path you can take to cut clean from most of the instance.

Enter : (Not from around arena) Jump directly. Enter the door to the right. Kill water elemental boss USE resistance totem ! (forgot names ...). Take north exit (Not east) and go up the stairs. Kill Elf and gobelin. Continue on to Satryr do him in aswell (Use a potion when sacrificed or instant heal if you have) then jump from his platform and go north once more. You'll arrive into last boss room. Kill last boss after cleaning room from Small plants (he calls them) and invocate Isalien. He is pretty weak @ 70 but a poorly equipped Shaman will get taken down when he calls on his hippogriff (kill it first it freaking hurts)
GL oh and yes CD lowers after equip

Don't get too excited about this item because the boss you obtain it from is a summoned boss and requires the Brazier of Invocation to do it. You get the Brazier from completing the entire 0.5 dungeon set quest, so you or a party member is going to have to have it. Then it's just a matter of drop rate...

You can skip everything but the satyr that sacrifices (Zevrim Thornhoof). Killing him will free Old Ironbark. Jump down from Zevrims place to end up close to where you jumped down initially. Speak to Ironbark to open the gate and kill the plants and Alzzin the Wildshaper.

Oh yeah, collect every piece of the old dungeon set except for the head and chest and complete tons of absurd and costly tasks to get the book that makes you able to summon her.

If you're thinking of beginning the tier 0.5 questline (which includes the 45min Strath run) here are a list of mats you'll need along the way to get the brazier in the order you'll need them:

Tier 0 Gear (Wrist , then later: gloves+belt, boots+ Legs+Shoulders. You won't need head or chest pieces as you hand them in after this quest)
1x Delicate arcanite converter
4x Greater Eternal Essence
10x Stonescale Oil
~5x Goblin Rocket Fuel (may need more)
1x Fel Elemental Rod (Vi'el)
3x Dark Iron Bar
20x Enchanted Leather
3x Mooncloth
4x Cured Rugged Hide
~4x Dark Rune (more if creating beckoning stones)
~9x Large Brilliant Shard (plus extra for extra summoning medallions if you fail to summon Duke of Cinders, one of 3 elemental Dukes)
~4x Twilight Trappings (Head, Chest, Shoulders: may need more as consumed in summoning)
1x Flask of Extreme Power

EDIT: Finally got my totem last month! Almost 2 years of intermittent questing... Don't let that put you off, you could do it much faster if you put your mind to it.
As to uses I've found it particularly good as a PvP totem, although reincarnation is not allowed in arena, it has proven very useful in battlegrounds with improved reincarnation, especially alterac valley.

What class do you have to be in order to summon this boss? I've completed the d1 upgrade quest chain with my shaman, but I have to summon a boss in Scholomance, not in DM.

Keep in mind, in order to make full use of this, you'd have to use it in a situation in which you realize you were about to die with enough time to swap totems. If you're gonna use this on a "called wipe" then there's really no sense in reincarnating to begin with since it's best used midfight when your death was probably unexpected and you can get back up and benefit the group more.

Unless you're one to pop after a wipe so you can rez or something. . . I hope you're not. . . .

So, I've been researching the drops of all these relics, and I've noticed that pally/shammy relics tend to drop from the same person - at least, the other 2 relics are like that, so I would assume this one is the same way. If that's the case, then this one would drop off the boss that you summon for your .5 armor quests in DM (sorry, don't know his name). You can check the posts for the lvl 57 pally relic for the name and where he's summon.

She needs to be invoked, right?
By what i understood, u need a Brazier of Beckoning.
Can we buy it, go there, summon and kill? If yes, to whom?
Or do we have to have the quest? Is the brazier only a quest item?
Where can we get the quest?

lo m8s im in a guild doin' bwl up to vaelstraz, even tho we've always got some locks with us and a bunch of shammies this 10min detime on ankh is good, not only in instances like mc,zg,ony,bwl but some usual stuffz like ubrs,scholo etc. ive been in 5-man raids and we got some silly wipe due to some failure and wasted the CD on ankh, whilst now those times when the raid has been cancelled it can be saved, and sometimes those locks run out of SS its 30min CD on that, so now the shammies can compete with their 30CD also :D, only tho these ankhs cost 20-18s : /, well id like this and ill think it go for it, its nice filling in the last slot ;P

Im mostly resto, due to the fact that our priests (1 my wife lol, full time studier, and the other took a day job) are not on as much as i'd like, i have taken over majority of the healing....yay..

to cut a long story short, i have 2 points in reincarnation so my rez ability is already cutdown to 20 min! so with this lil doodad its more like 10min! and that really boils my potatos!
Isalien was set to our resident Druid and so we have been madly farming her in the hopes that the totem will drop....nothing as yet....lots of attempts and all we have is 9000000 pairs of boots of ferocity and 40000000 pairs of ironweave gloves!

We all know you shamans hate paladins because they are one of the only classes you have a hard time killing, but CONTRARY to the rumors floating around this thread, they do NOT have a libram that reduces the cooldown on Holy Shield. In fact, their librams pretty much suck horribly.

So, no more about pallies getting reduced cooldown on holy shield.

FYI, Shamans seem to have gotten the more useful relics of the three classes. Just look at the druid one: -.15 sec on Healing Touch, and it's epic. One and a half tenths of a second and Blizzard thinks thats epic. *Shakes head*

grounding totem (your hammer of justice lands on it), purge (you want your seal?cast it again), 1.4k chain lightining + 1.2 k frost shock, windfury, cast your divine shield. in the meantime grounding totem again, purge again, chain, shocks, melee, 1 sec delay fire nova, bye bye pally. just remember to purge their seals. Purge also works for presence of mind, arcane power, MOTW, NS, ephemeral power and so on. Purge is useful as cleanse is.

Oh Rly? And this time you fcked up all your mana. And if you play against a paladin in full T1/T2 and with 6-7k mana, he still has about 4k mana, and simply washes the floor with you, and thats all.

Nuke works on paladins with 2-3k mana, but if you have tougher ones, he simply OUTLASTS you!

And you cant do anything.

pallys that dont know what theyre doing can easily be defeated by simply purging their seals, and mainly meleeing them (save ur mana, cuz they can outlast you).

but as pally that knows his class... watch out. i typically get hit very hard by good pallys (700 / 1200+ crits), so its hard to kill them, and i normally fail.

but watch their mana bar... you should have more then them at all times....

Elemental shamans with good +damage gear whoop pally but any day of the week. 4dpm, 500+ dmg, 6,7k mana. Plz try and outheal that.

if you die without the totem in, (say you use sustaining totem for healing), could you then ankh and then put the totem in and reduce the reincarnation cooldown?

Totem of Rebirth Drops of Isalien, in DM.
Now for those who think it doesn't double up with Improv'd Reincarnation. Your wrong it Does after the latest v 1.12.1 Patch I'v never had any trouble doubling up the Totem with the skill. Infact I use this instead of all the other Totems out there Cause it works with Improved Reincarnation. Very handy in Raids, even when you have a Lock or Two around. Oh and for those who dispute Shaman VS. Paladian. Blizzard made Paladians so they Could be Tanks that can heal them selfs if need'd. Blizzard also meant for Shaman too be used for Dps and Utility. With the Burning Crusade, WoW Expansion coming out. Shaman and Paladians will no longer be Faction only. That means Shaman will get Duel Weild /w Dps benafits. Paladians will get more Tanking and Healing Benafits. Oh & Shammy VS Paly, mainly Depends On Skill,Experience and Gear. Mostly Skill and Gear Thou. But again with Skill comes Experience

I'd so love to get this totem, I'll even happily respec then and put 7 points in resto to get improved reincarnation. Because improved reincarnation and this totem together own. :D

Pally's are both easy and hard enemies in PVP. If you meet the typically melee pally who doesn't stun or heal, he dies as fast as the regular warriors I fight against. (Okay, not quite THAT fast, since Pally's seem to wear plate more than warriors :S). But if he stuns you more than any rogue can, or has extremely more mana than me, then he wins.

*Prays that windstone summons in Slithus work again to finish the first part of the chest/head t 0.5 quest, and prays for getting to summon Isalien in one of the following quests*.

Well, so far the other two totems have dropped off the same boss as the paladin relics....Magmus in BRD and Fankriss in AQ40. It would probably be a safe bet that this drops off Cho'rush the Observer, DM North. Happy hunting.

Well, all three relic types have three relics. The epic one for all three drops in AQ40, and there's one for each that drops in BRD. The Paladin equivalent of this hasn't been found yet, but the Druid one supposedly drops in Scholo, so there's a good chance that this and the Paladin one drop there too.

This drops off of Isalien, a night elf druid/hunter boss summoned in Dire Maul East for tier 0.5 upgrade quests.

She summons a hippogryph pet a few seconds into the fight which you'll want to offtank and kill before you turn your full attention to her. When the pet dies, she goes into a rage which can be dispelled/purged. She frequently casts a very powerful Regrowth which can be interrupted (and the heal over time effect can be purged/dispelled.)

She's slightly harder than normal bosses, but if you're all decent players and your party composition is solid it's a piece of cake.

She is summoned at the location you fight the final boss of DM East. The satyr guy, Whats-his-face the Wildshaper...

You can only summon her after a certain point in the tier 0.5 series. Apparently the quest series has you fight 2 of 4 possible bosses scattered throughout instances. She wasn't one of my original bosses, but at the end of the tier 0.5 series you get a Brazier that can summon any of the 4 - even the ones you didn't originally fight.

The Dungeon Set 2 also called Tier 0.5 is aquired through a fairly lengthy, somewhat difficult and expensive quest chain through which you upgrade Dungeon Set 1 pieces.
After completing 向伯德雷回复 which is one part of the chain, you will recieve 符咒火盆用户手册 and 符咒火盆.

In SoD, this totem and the talent do not stack, instead cancel each other out, giving you a 30-min CD. Whether this is intentional or a bug I don't know, but it's not worth using when you have the 2 points in the talent tree.
