Mushroom boxes are both a drop and actual boxes that you can loot. When looted the box beware of a 64 mob that will spawn and attack you. When you turn this quest in, Leesa'oh heads east and plants a large mushroom. There is no additional reward or quest, I do not see any reason to follow her unless you're interested in those aspects of the game.

Only the boxes opened in the caves spawn mobs, not the ones on top.

The mushroom bridge is at 17, 14. The above mentioned 16,16 coordinates are incorrect.

Confirmed, mushroom bridge is at 17, 17. Cross it, and both the mobs drop the boxes as well as objects on the ground, it seemed to me that occasionally the boxes would spawn mobs, seemed to me about 2/3 would spawn mobs.

I confirm that the cave coordinate is 17,14, at this coordinate u will be right infront of two ogres guarding a bridge, which leads to the cave. and YES, each mushroom box u loot a guard spawn right beside u, normally the guard drops another box, so better u kill the guard than running from him.

Coordinates are right on at 17,14. If you have Overlord Gorefist quest you can do most of it at the same time.

1. head to the cave (16, 16).
2. fight your way through the cave, just keep fighting your way to the back killing everything to get the mushrooms off the NPCs.
3. collect all the mushroom boxes along the way, but DO NOT rely on the boxes they are rare and dont spawn anywhere as much as you can get from drops.

Yeah. The same thing happened to me. I turned in the mushrooms, we walked a ways and she went to do her thing and plant the mushrooms when like 4-5 normal bog lord patrols happened to be near enough to aggro her. She dropped before I could save her. The weird thing is, it didn't say that it was an escort quest, so I wasn't sure if I should intervene. I thought maybe it was part of the mini-event. Then she died and I was left alone with her stupid cat, wondering if I had just fucked myself out of more quests. I guess there aren't any more, because after waiting the 5 minutes for her to respawn she didn't have anything to offer me. Still, this is something that Blizzard should attempt to make cleaner. Make her invulnerable while she's doing it, or reduce her aggro range to nil, or something.

Well, this must be a UI glitch. I don't know if it's just me, but these definately appear to be ?? Boss Elite mobs, but do the damage of a mob the correct level.

l got all 10 in the cave on the little island north of the camp. The coords for the entrance of the cave are 17,9. You can kill the ogres there and they'll drop the mushrooms, you can open the boxes and get boxes of mushrooms, and every time you open a box an ogre will spawn and he may drop a box of mushrooms. :D

I also did the cave, pretty nice since they also drop from the ogres.
Then she walk in the patrol when she planted the shroom, took aggro of all 4 of them, but she still died, not the strongest npc. So did i /sad .

cords are true, but the mobs that spawned was level 63, and with one of the creates a mob didnt even spawn, this quest is very easy as 62hunter.

My coords show the bridge at 17,12. No matter, when you get near, you discover the village and the road leading to the bridge shows up as a dotted line.

I actually didnt know about the cave until i was finished with the quest, I got all of my drops from the Ango'Rosh boss (from impending attack quest). Took a very long time but the ogres drop alright money.

Once you cross the mushroom bridge go for the cave you see,plenty of boxes in there

You can also turn right just in front of the cave entrance, trek uphill, and find at least 3, perhaps 4 crates with mushrooms there as well...but most are well guarded!

17,14 are the coords. You can knock out 2 quests at once if you picked up the FERTILE SPORES quest.

LOL when I had completed the quest, I followed her and when she stopped, she got attacked by 2 Bog Lords, and died. I wasn't sure if it was a part of the quest (until I read the comments here) so I didn't do anything. =P

After turning in the quest, the last thing she said was:
"Watcher Leesa'oh says: <name>, let's go see if this plan will work. Come along, Buddy!"

She then performed all the steps, but completely silent, no thank you, no nothing.
I advice to completely ignore the bs after turnin, just leave her alone, she takes a few minutes and nothing really worthy happens.

If you are using "quest helper" its directions are extremely confusing. I thought that i had to go up to the towers and kill the mob at the top. This is the first time "quest helper" has wronged me :( Just go to the island in the top left of Zangarmarsh :)

Does this quest bug occasionally?
spent about half an hour with a m8 doing this quest (we are questin together so we both hit 80 at same time) and not one of them dropped in Ango'rosh stronghold.
plenty of boxes, but no boxes that were lootable.

I just did this quest along with the "overlord gorefist" quest. We didn't go into the cave. We crossed the bridge and took a right. My 63 fire mage was with a 62 Hunter and her dino pet. The path goes around and up. I got two boxes near the top in an open spot, the boss had one in his "cave" at the top, and there was one box near the bridge. The rest were drops. It was a tough trip but neither of us died. I had to wait for the dino to aggro them first before I tossed a fireball.

Edit: I haven't turned them in yet, tho, so I don't know how the mushroom planting goes. lol

was a pretty easy quest as a 64 Blood elf DK(blood). only thing is when i turned it in and follow the girl to see what would happen the mobs aggroed myself then her..She and i both fought them off..so watch out-they should be coming in from behind

No one mentioned that in some cases, when you loot any box that is just sitting on the ground, a mob spawns immediately. Be ready.

i never even followed her after she went to cast the nature spell and plant the mushroom. I left after i turned in this quest because i didn't think there was any more to the quest chain. i saw these comments, so i went back to see where she went, but all that was there was buddy. yeah she was probably killed by the boglords

1. Stealing Back the Mushrooms
• Accept the quest, Stealing Back the Mushrooms, from Watcher Leesa'oh at coords 23.2, 66.2 (East of Spawning Glen).
• Travel north to the vicinity of 19, 8 (North of Ango'rosh Grounds).
• Loot 10 Box of Mushrooms from the ground (they can also be obtained by killing the Ango'rosh Ogres in this area).
• Travel south to coords 23.2, 66.2.
• Turn in the quest to Watcher Leesa'oh.

Weird that no one mentioned it, but after you hand in the quest there is a little event where the watcher goes to grow a mushroom, it goes as follows:

Watcher Leesa´oh says: (Player name), let´s go see if this plan will work. Come along, Buddy!

Watcher Leesa´oh says: Ok, Let´s see about using those mushrooms you brought back to grow the bog lords a new food supply.

Watcher Leesa´oh says: Wait and see what happens!

The Hungry Bog Lord takes a piece of the mushroom tree and holds it to its "nose". Seemingly satisfied, it eats it!

The Hungry Bog Lord uproots the rest of the mushroom tree and makes off with ti

Watcher Leesa´oh says: Oh Buddy, you big baby! Look, It´s working. It´s really working! Now all i need to do is grow more of these mushrooms here and the bog lords will likely leave the sporelings alone!

Watcher Leesa´oh says: Oh, thank you, (Player name)! You´ve made it possible to save both the sporelings from the bog lords, and the bog lords from our wrath.

Collect 10 Boxes of Mushrooms and return them to Watcher Leesa'oh at the Cenarion Watchpost in Zangarmarsh.

Description

<class>, I've got an idea. I want you to head north again, this time into the heart of ogre territory!

Northwest of the Hewn Bog there is a place named Ango'rosh Stronghold, which sits on a floating island across a large mushroom bridge.

The ogres must be storing the harvested mushrooms there. I bet you'll find them all over the place, and probably on the ogres themselves, too!

Bring me a sufficient number and I will try to do something about providing the bog lords with a new source of nourishment.
