FYI if you cant turn in the quest ( The return to Tyrosus) part after you got your weapon and you are already in dala or your class hall, then you need to go all the way back to Tirisfall glade to the staging area and take their gryphon back to dala and the quest will be completed then.

had some issues getting the "scenario" started.. was getting kicked back to Dalaran.
Might have been server capacity coz it's only been a couple of days since launch.. but if you get issues, try flying in from the west side of the map!

Camp is located at 13.7, 56.6 in Tirisfal Glades if you're like me and "leave party" too soon and get ported back to Dalaran.

I don't know if anyone else is having problems with where the quest turn-in marker is on the map, but ...
Despite the quest turn-in marker being in Dalaran, it's correctly in the Sanctum of Light.
Return to your Order Hall, and Tyrosus is there waiting for the turn-in.

When I'm leaving the cave and get to the part where I need to heal and cleanse the paladins, I can heal the two that need healing, but I cleanse the two that are trapped, but nothing happens. Like you see the Cleanse animation but it doesn't work. Bugged? Has anyone had this problem? Is there a solution? Thanks

Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do to save the brother and sister DPS pallies in your party against the shadow wraith. their death is scripted.

Scenario is bugged. You are required to complete it in Holy. Your other cleanse will not work. And, you can't exit the scenario and return to any part of it. Example: Stage 8, dungeon popped. I accepted. Dungeon will load, kicking out out of the dungeon and the scenario, you end up at the far east Tirisfal GY with the hammer (tells you that you cannot use it in ret. spec, no dungeon, and have to start the scenario alllllllllllllllll lllllllllll over. /cry

had problem switching to Holy (needed to cleanse the 2 Pallys) I left the chamber and went all the way out to terrace was finally able to switch to Holy. Once done went back inside, cleansed the 2 Pallys and the scenerio completed. Note its easier to get hammer on Holy as thats whats its for,I switched back to Prot w/ no problems when I got back to Dalaran

If you leave the scenario area you can totally get back to it. You'll want to take the portal in the Chamber of the Guardian. From there head North to the portals and take the one for Dalaran Crater (You will fall and take damage so, be ready). Once you are there, head North/Northwest to find Travard and let him know you're ready.

1. The Silver Hand (Scenario)
• Accept the quest, The Silver Hand, from Travard at coords 72.2, 49.0 (Krasus' Landing in Dalaran).
• Head to the center of Dalaran, and step on the transporter at 49.1, 47.8.
• Go southwest, down the corridor and steps to 29, 76.
• Click the Portal to Dalaran Crater.
• Travel northwest, into Tirisfal Glades, to Tyr's Fall at coords 13, 57.

Stage 1 - The Empty Camp
• Speak with Travard.

Stage 2 - Clearing the Way
• Inform Travard when you are ready, and then follow him underwater, in the lake, to coords 37.5, 13.1.
• Swim through the underwater passage to the Vestibule of the Silver Hand at coords 35, 32.
• Heal your group while it battles the Masterless Faceless One.

Stage 3 - Keeper's Rest
• Enter the Tomb of Tyr with your group, and speak with Travard when you are ready to proceed.
• While your group fights the mobs, stand close to Travard (Tank) as he will pull mobs off of you, if you receive aggro.
• After the room is cleared of the Masterless Faceless One, G'norz the Crazed will appear for your group to fight.
- - When possible, try to stand near the back of G'norz the Crazed, to avoid damage from Gasp of Unmaking.

Stage 4 - The Broken Ritual
• Listen to Travard, who informs you that part of the supplies needed to complete the ritual is located below.

Stage 5 - Into the Dark
• Speak with Travard, when you are ready to proceed below.
• Follow your group through the Darkwalk where you will encounter the first pack of mobs, Flesh Spawn.
• In the next room, at coords 42, 84, your party will battle more Masterless Faceless One.
• Follow your party northeast to a barrier at 47.6, 75.5.
• When the barrier goes down, stay with Travard as he fights more Flesh Spawn.

Stage 6 - The Maw of the Beast
• Speak with Travard when you are ready to proceed, and then follow the party across the bridge to 58, 75, where you will engage Horrific Aberration.
- - Where possible, stand behind Horrific Aberration to avoid damage from Void Breath.
• Shortly before its death, the Horrific Aberration kills Duvall and Efrina, leaving Travard all that remains of your party.

Stage 7 - Escaping the Prison
• Follow Travard southwest, back to coords 43, 82.

Stage 8 - Aid to the Fallen
• While Travard holds off Mordoth the Hunter, heal the Argent Dawnbringer and Argent Phalanx.
• Use Cleanse on the pair of Righteous Crusader.

Stage 9 - Something is Coming
• Follow Travard north, back to the Tomb of Tyr at 37.5, 63.4

Stage 10 - Ritual Defense
• Heal your damage dealers while Aerial Command Unit completes the ritual.
• Stay close to Shieldbearer Anak, as he is now your group's tank.
• At approximately 50% of your ritual status bar, Mordoth the Hunter will come up from the tunnel.

Stage 11 - The Silver Hand (Final Stage)
• Once the ritual bar is filled to 100%, Mordoth the Hunter will break combat.
• Collect The Silver Hand at 37.3, 54.7, to claim your artifact weapon.
• After collecting the weapon, the cut-scene will show you exit the Tomb, and the collapse of the Tomb.
• After appearing on the surface, follow Aerial Command Unit to 13.0, 57.4, and click on the Argent Hippogryph to take you back to Dalaran.
• After landing in Dalaran, turn in the quest to Lord Maxwell Tyrosus.
- - If you have already completed a different artifact chain, Lord Maxwell Tyrosus will be located at 49.6, 71.5 in the Sanctum of Light.

** IMPORTANT NOTE: Cleanse may NOT work on the Righteous Crusader unless you're in HOLY spec. **

It's a long scenario to obtain The Silver Hand - holy spec artifact. Scenario has 11 stages:

At first, travel to Tirisfal Glades to 13.2 56.8 spot and talk with Travard.
Travard will jump into water and swim to the entrance of the tomb. Follow him and defend from mobs.
Clear a room, kill monsters. Also defeat G'norz the Crazed.
Listen to Travard.
Go down to hole and proceed till found a "bride."
Slay Horrific Aberration.
Get back to the crypt.
Heal and cleanise paladins that become active.
Get back to the crypt again.
Defend the room until the quest counter full. Also, try to kill Mordoth the Hunter.
Claim th ehammer and run back to Dalaran

so i just went through that whole scenario, just to get a weapon I can't even use on my main spec? I had to switch to HOLY in the middle of the scenario.

I am having crazy trouble turning in this quest. No portal for me to the Sanctum of light - finally got there through the Eastern plaguelands... or I should say I got to lights hope chapel... but the secret entrance wouldn't open for me. I followed someone else in, but I just got kicked out and couldn't finish. I have done everything suggested. There is a question mark on the map so I don't know why I cant get in. Any suggestions? It's probably something stupid that I've overlooked.

Prior to taking the portal to Dalaran Crater, pick up a Goblin Glider Kit or similar slow fall device. After you take the portal you will be dropped from a great height and will not be able to mount (due to your falling). The glider will save you from dying and doing a corpse run. This happens every time you take this portal not just for this quest.

With the changes to the Paladin spells, Cleanse is not the same & no longer appears to work on the void-covered paladins making this quest uncompletable in Battle For Azeroth.

And I don't seem to be able to abandon or drop the quest now either. :(

This is probably obvious to most but if you're doing this quest after current content, don't ret it up and try to blow through it. Let the npc lead and engage as he's the one that picks up the required items, and don't miss the part where you need to heal and cleanse the indicated npcs. You might need more healing for the last part of the scenario than ret can provide, but only because you run out of mana. If you get stuck, it will eventually reset if you hearth or log out.

This quest is currently very buggy. There are many ways to get stuck on this quest and you can't abandon it and/or restart it. Do everything very slowly and wait for the NPCs to get to their targets. There are no fixes or workarounds if you do get stuck.

I got stuck on it twice. On the first one I got DCed once I went into the underwater cave after visiting Tirisfal Glades. Then I tried to log back in, but I had a 10+ min loading screen and I had to alt+F4. So I retried it after several attempts cause I wasn't able to log in due to multiple DCs and failed attempts, but it gave me a dalaran loading screen, after which it finally logged me back in, but it also teleported me back to dalaran. But here's the issue now, you have a one-time use teleport scroll, you can't climb that area without a flying mount (trust me, I tried for hours, so did many others), there's no way for you to go back, the quest is impossible to restart, the "abandon" option is greyed out and throwing a quest item doesn't abandon it either (I used up the one and only charge on that teleport scroll, so it wasn't needed anymore), so I'm completely stuck on this quest).

The 2nd time I got stuck was a bit further into the scenario. I tried to do it on my 2nd paladin, I finally entered the cave, didn't get DCed this time, killed the mobs, defended the friendly NPC etc and up to that point where 2 of your group members die (can't remember the names), after it happens you're suppose to kill that elite mob right after. Well, I killed it, but I did it a bit too fast and the NPC that is suppose to go like "let's move in hero etc etc", he wouldn't move anymore, or do anything at all, so I got stuck there as well. I also tried to find a fix for this bug as well, but I couldn't, you can literally get stuck here as well and you won't be able to restart or abandon the quest.

Update: This has been fixed, however, like many other quests, if you kill the quest mob(s) too fast, this can still bug out like many other quest in the game. The teleport scroll used to have only one charge, now it has no charges, you can use it as much as you want. So if anything happens to you and you get ported out, you can use the scroll to teleport back whenever. Everything should be fine now.

Unfortunately, it is impossible to get to the location of the camp since the pre-patch if you started a new Alliance toon and are trying to do this quest at level 15. There is no way that I can see to get to the camp without the flying skill, which you can't get until lvl 30. If anyone has any tips and tricks for an Alliance player to get to this location without flying, please let me know. Thanks!

Scaling on this one (and healing spec quests in general, ngl) seems a little off. Your allies have the health pool of a bubonic toddler and the 'tanks' have about as much armor as a wet Kleenex. Be prepared to spam your heal spells even if you're over levelled and returning to Legion for the shiny transmogs.

1 - If you went and kill Horrific Aberration so fast that you couldn't complete the scenario stage and find yourself stuck, all you have to do is leave the instance group by right clicking in your character portrait and you should be teleported back do Broken Isles Dalaran;

1.1 - From there you want to use Tirisfal Camp Scroll that should be in your bags. If not, take the Dalaran Crater portal in the Chamber of Guardian (literally in the middle of Dalaran, /way 49.09, 47.95 - just run into the beacon, make your way downstairs, take the portal and fly over there) - Note that if you choose the portal way, make sure you cast your Divine Shield right after you port in, otherwise you will, well, die;

1.2 - Once you get to Tyr's Fall again, approach Travard and wait till he finish the talking and start the scenario again.

PS: Your quest progression won't change although you'll have to do the stages before reaching Horrific Aberration all over again;

PS 2: Retribution paladin's Cleanse Toxins won't work to dispell your allies, you need to switch to Holy spec and then use Cleanse.

If you kill the horrific aberration too fast before Travard engages it on stage 6, you won't be able to collect the ritual piece. There's nothing you can about this other than using the teleport scroll to teleport you outside of the tomb and starting from stage 1 again.

Two things to summarize for modern completion of this quest (thanks to the others in this thread):
1) Don't kill the giant aberration too fast, before Travard can engage it. If you do, use your portal scroll rather than leaving instance to save yourself one load screen. Either way, you'll need to start over.
2) When you get to the part where you need to cleanse two Righteous Crusaders, switch to Holy. Prot doesn't get the ability to cleanse magic.

Description

Too many know of its location, the tomb must be closed forever. First, we must reclaim the hammer.
