If you have done follow up quests which involve Kadrak taking you to Splintertree you cant currently hand this in. He is in Splintertree and doesn't know about the new quest. "?" still on his old spot in Mor'shan. Bug.

yeah i just picked this quest up for the 2nd time and now i cant handed it again is this another bug on my end or is anyone else having the same problem

Reported this as a bug on the official forums.

Tried reporting it to a GM but got a response saying that someone had probably killed the NPC

As of today, May 12th, a hotfix has been deployed allowing everybody to turn in the "Mor'shan Caravan Delivery" quest at Kadrak. Whoever has not been able to do so so far should be looking for him at the Mor'shan Ramparts in Northern Barrens (Source)

If the quest is working, you'll be chased down by Burning Blade members on both wolves and wind riders. You get a special rocket to shoot down the wind riders. The wolf riders can be shot with your gun or punched off your kodo just like you did before.

It's a pretty awesome quest, provided it's working properly.

All of the quests listed above are definitely not prerequisites for this quest.

I always do Harpy Lieutenants and Serena Bloodfeather with alts for the ring. Since I always do them, I'm not certain if they're required for Report to Thork or if it is always available at level 14 whether those two have been completed or not. (Harpy Raiders is completely optional.)

So the prerequisite quests begin either with Harpy Lieutenants or Report to Thork. Fortunately they're from the same quest giver, so if you hadn't done the harpy quests earlier and they turn out to be necessary for Report to Thork it won't be much of an inconvenience to do them.

I found this quest a bit difficult... Maybe it's just because I'm a priest? But even at level 20, I died several times on it before I finally got it.
Or maybe I just suck. *shrugs*

if you get killed on way to ashenvale, your quest log won't say failed or completed, so you'll appear to be in limbo. i abandoned the quest when this happened, and then there was no exclaimation mark or question mark on main map so it appeared i lost the quest completely. when i tried returning to the base of dreadmist peak on the east side, however, i found nagala aqain and she had the exclaimation mark and re-offered it to me.

If Kadrak isn't there, try walking in and out of the gate. Sometimes he bugs and only appears when you pass the threshold.

If you're just here looking for where to start to get the piece for MOG, what worked for me was to go straight to Darsok Swiftdagger for Harpy Raiders and Harpy Lieutenants.

After that, you'll get another quest automatically to go kill the harpy queen in the area.

When you hand it back in, you'll then get the "Report to Thork" quest, and will be able to continue with the chain as suggested in the "Series" at the top of the page.

((Note that this toon was boosted, a loooong time ago, and never did any of the initial quests in the Barrens))

Edit: additionally, these days, even though you only get the choice for one piece (in my case mail), I also got the mog for the axe)

At present, the kodo's health doesn't seem to dip below 2 points. Which is good, since nowadays whenever I do this quest, the kodo would be "dead" otherwise. So, not failable? Interesting.

These 'protect the kodo' quests are trivialized by using Tab to alternate or select targets as they spawn. You can kill them pretty much right as they enter by spamming Tab, 1, Tab, 1, etc.
For some reason the second escort quest doesn't mark the mobs as selectable or readily hostile when using tab, so you have to physically click on them. but that one's easy anyway.
the final escort quest i usually finish with over 90%hp, by spamming Tab, 1 2 3, Tab, 1 2 3 etc, quickly. this way you don't have to pay attention to what weapon to use, whether they're flying or grounded, or on the kodo attacking you.

Can safely be AFK-ed by high-level characters. It might be tied to a failsafe mechanism with the kodo's HP, in which the quest could be AFK-able for everyone. Needs confirmation on this though.

Can be AFKd. Did it yesterday on a lvl 28 hunter and killed everything. Today, I did it as a lvl 25 Dk and did nothing. None of the mobs attacked the kodo. I had quite the army following me at the end :-)

Description

You've managed to stir the Burning Blade's nest. Our scouts report that they are gathering for an attack.

You must complete the caravan's journey before they arrive. The supplies are packed, the kodos are rested, and I hope you don't mind but I made a few adjustments to your gun.

If you meet up with any resistance, shoot first and ask questions later.

Quickly! They come! Speak to me when you are ready to leave.
