Kill Diseased Black Bear's (Not the Shaggy black bears), and pick the Plague Tangle which grow around their body. Multiple Plague Tangle's grow after killing 1 Deseased black bear.

These fields always seem full from people doing this quest, so it's best to grind a quarter level out from killing Shaggy Black bears while you wait for you Diseased ones to respawn.

Shoot for the Diseased Black Bear's around Felstone Field. The majority will drop five, but there are a few that will only yield four.

A grievance I had when this area is populated with people for whatever reason: People like to run up to your bear kills and take your plague tangles and then run away... repeatedly.

Kill Diseased Black Bears in Western Plaguelands, then loot 20 Plague Tangles that grow near their corpses.

Description

I need plagued grass for an... an experiment, of sorts. Those Argent Crusaders and those infernal Cenarion druids have done too good a job of healing the plaguelands, however... and I can't find proper reagents within a reasonable walking distance.

Some of the local wildlife retain the plague's touch, however. Kill a diseased black bear, then retrieve the grass that grows where its decaying body lies. It's not optimal, but it'll do.
