Wailing Mary Smitts is standing between two cannons, next to the 'Gun vendor' on the middle deck (floor) of the western ship.

The other two (Long John Copper and Enormous Shawn Stooker) can't be missed on or near the bottom deck of their respective ships.

Long John Copper Is below main deck, on The Damsel's Luck, not in bottom of ship. Didn't have a name over his head, like the other NPCs. Standing against the wall facing the entrance to bottom of ship.
Enormous Shawn Stooker is in bottom of his ship, The Crimson Veil, with the Corsairs. No name over his head.
Mary is on The RipTide below deck, in second cannon room. No name over her head.
Now you'll report back to Baron Revilgaz in Booty Bay.

Apparently, another player can come and slaughter all NPCs you need for the quest. I found the boats like that when I was trying to do this, but strangely, the corpses of the target NPCs were nowhere to be found.

After a relog, all NPCs had respawned, but more importantly, the target NPCs could be found.

Have a major bug here; I logged out during this quest, and when I logged back in, I could no longer talk to these people. It only showed a sword when I moused over them, but I couldn't attack them either cause they were friendly.
When I abandoned the quest, I could not start it again.

It is possible to continue this quest when you bug out! (When the pirates get red when selected and show unfriendly while the tooltip itself still shows them as friendly) You just need to mount up, fly up and fall to your death , when you walk back to your corpse and get back alive, you will see that the pirates are green again. Also lower level players that might have the problem, could try drowning themselves or get eaten by sharks in the sea. I know this isn't a proper solution but it's bugged until blizzard fixes it. When you get back to your "friendly" pirates you might find out that while you we're suiciding other players came and killed them so you might have to wait. But whatever you do... don't logout or you might get the BUG again! Good luck!

I'm glad that I did this quest chain once, but there is no way that I would do it again on a low level character. All the swimming back and forth between the boats is horrible.

Uggghhhhhhh I am so sick of these buggy pirate quests! I got the first two, but "mary" is dead and hasn't respawned...I've been standing and running around for about 10 minutes now...I think other players on a different quest keep killing her. And if i do /reload it just causes the other bug of everyone being an enemy. Is anyone else having this problem?

Long John Copper is just before the bottom of the ship (opposite of the stairs) at 51.27 91.37.
Enormous Shawn Stooker is at the very bottom of the ship at 46.75 94.23.
Wailing Mary Smitts is between two cannons before going to the very bottom of the ship at 44.46 93.24.

Four years plus I've been playing this game, and I've done this quest chain I don't know how many times, and yet it was just today that I finally got the joke in "Enormous Shawn Stooker"'s name. Yeah, I'm slow.

And I'm not going to explain it. I'll just say this: it's a reference to something in the Mel Brooks movie "Young Frankenstein".
