Simple quest, you just have to go to the bottom of the Ship where you pick the quest. (or any other ship around there)

Just talk to the guys, and then kill them.

As with the quest where you need to talk to the 3 people, after I logged out and back in, I couldn't talk to these people anymore. It only showed a sword when I moused over them but I couldn't attack them either cause they were friendly. Had to abandon the entire quest...

I logged out halfway through this quest and subsequently it bugged out, so i made a ticked and here is the response;
"First, and foremost, I would like to apologize, in Blizzard behalf, for the time it took to answer your petition.

You will not be able to do that quest while you have the 2 other bloodsail related quests that give you the "piracy" buff, that makes bloodsails friendly to your character.

As such you will need to complete or abandon the other quests, and only then you can do this particular quest.

With that said, I bid you farewell, and wish that the winds of fortune favor you above all others when it comes to loot rolls."

If you're like me and are doing this quest for the Supposed Mace, and can't figure out how to get this quest, the answer is:

You need to pick up the quest The Bloodsail Buccaneers from First Mate Crazz . You will then have to compleat the quest chain up to Seeing Where Your Loyalties Lie which will alow you access to the bloodsail quests. once you start the bloodsail quests you must compleat them in order untill you get this one The Damsel's Luck this one will alow you to access Captian stillwater's charts to do the quest.

hope this helps I had to find out the hard way

Also had the problem Snooty had. Had the quest, killed about 5 of them before having to log out. Come back later, and every pirate was hostile (but technically I was still "with" them, so they didn't attack), so I couldn't even complete the quest. Tried to abandon the quest, then I couldn't even pick it back up again, even when I saw the exclamation mark. Tried to log out and back, and the quest disappeared.

So lesson learned: finish the dang quest before leaving for the day.

Edit: Sent a ticket. Was recommended to either leave the area and come back or get myself killed. First option worked.

If you LOG OUT and find that you are unable to complete the pirate quests, just leave the area (I hearthed back to SW to catch up on some training and took the griffon back to Booty Bay). I was then able to re-pick up the quests that I had abandoned earlier (since I wasn't able to interact with the npc's anymore), and found that the Pirates were Green again (Hooray!) and I was able to interact with them and finish the quests.

HUGE pain in the butt! But at least you can go back and finish this quest line :)

If u log out in the middle of the quest, and only get "red" npc´s do like this:
-- Abandon quests.
-- Leave area (like HS to your homecity)
-- Fly back
-- Re-aquire the quests.
-- Done!

As a lvl 100 hunter i had to put away pet before killing Bloodsail Corsair. or they wouldn't count towards completion as the pet did the kill.

Bit of an update on this if anyones having issues still, after going back to finish of some old quests and wasn't able too complete due to the buff 'Piracy' and been friendly, I found out you kill a few adds in a quest called 'Making Munity' and the items needed dropped and was able to complete it, so keep the quests 'Keeping an eye out' and 'up to snuff' they should drop when doing 'Making Munity' which was great to finish those ones. all the best in finish old quests off.

Description

Before returning to Booty Bay, you should do everything you can to weaken the Bloodsail Buccaneers. Unfortunately, even as captain, you're prohibited from killing other buccaneers in cold blood. Only a Fleet Master can do that.

You can, however, put mutineers to the sword... and mutiny can be awfully hard to disprove.

Speaking of which, those Bloodsail corsairs that hang out on the lowest level of the ships have been acting awfully suspicious...
