Just to clarify, the Un'Goro Thunderers can be found inside the cave near where all the other gorillas are. I spent a little while running around the outside hoping the Un'Goro Thunderers would spawn.

I actually feel kinda bad for doing this mission, and i have no idea why because collecting pelts from animals is pretty much every other random mission. its just that collecting pelts from apes brings to mind psychotic ape-poachers

So skinning is not needed, a special quest-related item is not needed.... the pelts are a drop from the apes, and it's not a 100% drop rate. Just in case anyone was wondering, as I was after my first kill.

Bring 2 Un'Goro Gorilla Pelts, 2 Un'Goro Stomper Pelts, and 2 Un'Goro Thunderer Pelts to Gremix at Mossy Pile.

Description

There's plenty of money to be had here in Un'Goro, you just need to know where to look!

Apes may be common here in Un'Goro, but they're much rarer up north. In Everlook, a gorilla hide fetches ten times what you'll get for it down here!

I'm not going to send you all the way up to Winterspring - that'd be irresponsible - but I could use your help actually obtaining some hides.

You'll find gorillas at Fungal Rock, to the northeast, near a waterfall. Don't forget to check inside the cave!
