I laughed heartily at this last part of the blessing request.

Anyway, to add in some useful information: sometimes you approach a Steaming Fury and instead of asking for a blessing, Max will start attacking it. And then tell me off reproachfully for killing them. I'm not sure if this is a bug, but you should just keep trying and carefully approach the Steaming Fury until he yields his blade and drops on one knee.

I laughed harder on this quest than the previous one. All in all, a good quest chain. It tops Welcome to the Machine in Hillsbrad, imo.

if u get bugged and maximillian dont want to talk to them just talk to him, dismiss him and take "another one" from shore - that worked at me

Trivial with a priest. Just cast Power Word: Shield just before reaching the ellie, let it tear at you (for no damage) while Maximilian speaks to it. You may have to cast it a second time if it's about to run out, but I didn't need to in either case. Never took a scratch.

If you kill the Steaming "Spirit", he says: "Squire! I understand you are newly trained. But must I tell you not to kill the spirits of the Light?" This guy needs a boot in the "knightly arse", but he's a riot during his quest chain!

After I completed it I killed the steam elemental and he says "Squire I know you are newly trained but must I tell you not to kill the spirits of the light?"

The Maximillian quests were very entertaining! His horse's name is "Pimento"! LOL

When you finish with the "Steaming Spirits" he says, "Let us reconvene by my camp, as friends and fellow heroes, to discuss our final and most dangerous quest. Hup Hup, Pimento!"

If you have a fighting companion (warlock, hunter), be careful to set it into Pasive. Otherwise, your companion will attack the furies and this will lead Maximilian to do the same, instead of praying.

unfortunenantly this is bugged for me.. getting a new max or quest dosnt help. he prays but it dosnt register and im still at 0/2

Just to add, I could not figure out what the problem was I was standing there with Max getting beat on and nothing.... Un mount and instantly he started praying.... Do not be mounted...

my quest got bugged, the mob attacked me, I sat still and he started to attack the mob
once dead he said
"Squire I know you are newly trained but must I tell you not to kill the spirits of the light?"

If you're a Rogue, using Blind is a good strategy, because the 'spirit' will just stand around dazed while Max talks to it, and then when he's done you can just leave. I imagine other classes with incapacitation abilities could use those too.

If you complete this quest (starting with An Important Lesson) you'll be able to recruit him in your order hall as: Maximillian of Northshire.
After you have earned Champions of Legionfall and recruit Nerus Moonfang, he'll send you a Letter from Maximillian in the mail which still start Seek Me Out.

Have you become intoxicated on too much light? Or need to have your eyes checked perchance?
My Freezing Trap kept me perfectly safe.
Granted the mon- ... um, spirit, was reaching menacingly towards me. But I can assure you, I remained well out of its reach at all times.

Description

A moment of seriousness now, <name>. We have an important quest ahead of us. The treacherous dragons that plague this valley will not cease their mischief until we destroy their repugnant brood mother. Before we even attempt to complete such a task, we must ask the Light for aid.

I have seen the Light manifest itself nearby, in the form of Spirits floating by the shores of Golakka Hot Springs. Come, I must speak with them, and ask them for aid.
