These Ashenvale Oaks are quite large trees. They are spread around the area of the Warsong Lumber Camp but I found enough for the quest between 85,56 to 85,60. See the screenshot to see what they look like.

Thanks, I kept running around the area looking for a much smaller tree. Didn't realise they were so big.

i didnt seem to get an axe from him and cant cut down the oaks...went back and tried to talk to him again to no avail...:/

As far as the oaks go you have to stand almost on top of them and then you have to click on the axe which is an icon next to your quest on the list. My problem is I finished and came back up the hill and he is gone. I can't find him even though I see a question mark on my mini map.

wow another problem. It says if you lose your Secret Signal Power talk to Kadrak in Splintertree which I did because I dont have it in my inventory. And Kadrak wont speak to me. So now I cant finish this quest nor the other quest of Krokk's called Wet Work.

Same here. I abandoned As Good as it Gets because of Log space and when I wanted to take it again I realized I don't have Powder anymore. I don't know if I destroyed it or it just disappeared but it doesn't matter to me now.

I have lvl 13 toon so I will level him through Ashenvale, summon Krokk and quick relog to my main. If it not help I will write to GM. And if it not help I will just skip it. Fortunatelly I don't need later quests for achi :o).

The short version of this quest text is... "They're going to kill us all for cutting down trees. We need to distract them so we can get this person out of here. I KNOW! CUT DOWN TREES! =D"

If you have the creepy crate from Hallow's End, he will death grip the trees and complete the quest for you while you are killing the night elves. Easier than the axe and cute to boot.

I have issues completing the quest. Krokk Doesn't appear to complete it. I have in total 2 quest to complete trough him, ( Making Stumps and Wet Work )

Krokk wants you to use the Splintertree Axe to cut down the Ashenvale Oaks in Warsong Lumber Camp.

Description

As you've been told by now, we are to escort a diplomat from within the besieged lumber camp to safety.

As it stands, that's simply impossible. The elves have a thousand arrows trained on the camp's exits.

First we must create a diversion - something that will take their eyes off of the camp for a time.

My idea is simple. Take this axe and cut down the trees they've been nurturing in the region.

When you're through, light the brazier here to speak with me again.
