63, 77 easily soloable... put your totem down, pull guys to the totem and loot the item. Make sure you put your totem down or you wont get the item. Also the totem last for a while so pull the nether drakes to the totem.

Imposible for shadow priest i saw the comments it just resist it's not like that it's immune every single spell i cast was immune died like insect .......mb buged

The hunter pants are kind of crap and as stated here, they cannot be vendored. Do not select the pants if you do not plan on using them.

also immune to all stuns, making this tougher for a rog but not terrible. 67 rog i did it first try, use evasion and dps as fast as you can.

Yep, above coords confirmed. She lays resting for a bit and then starts patrolling. Easily soloed by a 68 shaman, she died long be4 my Earth Elemental did. Also worth mentioning that she has a low respawn time, I estimated around 2 minutes.

Deathwing is fully immune to all shadow spells. If you are a shadow priest use smite/holy fire to bring him down.

For my fellow warlocks out there I killed it with immolate and incinerate worked very well and fast :D don't try to do curses or afflictions on it cuz it is to immune to all of this

She/he is also immune to poisons, and ALL kind of stuns, cs, ks, it all failed, but She/He went down easy for a 68 troll rogue, just got there when he/she was laying down, stealthed in behind and it was a walk in the park.

Cords are correct as well as to the fact that she rests before starting to wander around.

As a Afflic lock I found this fight to be alittle tough since she was immune to almost everything I dot'd on her so I stuck with my Immolate and Incinerate and it did the trick.

I hate this quest. Why they made the mob immune to all shadow effects is beyond me. This not only includes Shadow Bolt, Shadowburn, DoTs, etc, but all fears, Death Coil's healing effect, and even Soulshatter.

It is however possible as a warlock (level 67). Here's what I did:

Send in the VW to tank. Give him a minute to get aggro. DoT up with Immolate and spam a couple Searing Pains. Wait a few seconds to let your aggro cool down, then repeat Immolate and a couple Searing Pains. Bandage and Health Funnel when needed. Of course it helps to have Omen installed so you can avoid aggro. (Remember you can't drain!)

This was actually very simple quest for me to do on my 66 mage, even though the mob was a lvl 68, it was very easy for me to take down, if you are a fire mage, just bust out with a pyroblast at first, then use a fire blast, and then go at it from there.

The nest where it rest is right around 65,77. If you have to just wait for it to patrol around.

For those of you doing this at a later date, you have to be at war with netherwing dragons to kill the dragons here, for both this and "Spirit Calling" but you dont lose any reputation with them from doing this quest.

The Nether Protector's Chest you can choose as a reward of this quest, is the excact same as the very rare Vanguard Breastplate. This is a very sexy chestpiece if you are into that stuff, and I recommend using this for a transmog set for females. *Wink wink*

Ok i cant get this quest to open. ive done everyones quest here hes unlocked 2 of his quest but the 3rd wont open and im out if quests. do i have to do quests in other hubs fror them to unlock?

Just to let everyone know, that as of the Draenor expansion, that the Nether Protector's Chest is still a plate item, and has not been changed at happened to the Energized Chest plate. Also the experience given scales with your level, I am 97 at this posting, and got 5 exp. Also though it is not mentioned, making this quest appear to be a standalone quest, you must do either 4 or 5 precursor quests, including two from Leoroxx before you get the Brood mother quest.

Just an FYI for Hunters, if your pet kills the broodmother before you get to it, it won't count. I had to dismiss my pet before slaying her.

I just completed this quest to get the Nether Protector's Chest (same model as the Vanguard Breastplate, only ALOT cheaper than what that is on the AH on my realm at the moment).

Fly to Mok'Nathal village and do a quest from Dertrok.
- The Stones of Vekh'nir. (Dertrok)

Then quests from Leoroxx open up.
-Understanding the Mok'Nathal.
-Since Time Forgotten.
-Slay the Broodmother (which gives the chest piece)

Hope this helps some people :)

Just completed the quest on my lvl 100 druid; I couldn't choose a reward and just received the gold, but the gloves showed up in my appearances collection. Hopefully a lower lvl will get the actual gloves, too!

Description

My hunters have just returned from a scouting mission to the Singing Ridge. It seems that the nether drakes, which infest the crystals there, have increased greatly in number, and threaten to spill out into our laps.

Since you have proven yourself a competent slayer, let us see if your <class> skills are the match of an adult drake.

Find the Singing Ridge by heading south through the Scalewing Shelf. Enter and slay their brood mother, Dreadwing.
