Dive on into Skysong Lake and you'll find these guys in fairly large numbers dwelling on the bottom. They deal out ranged/melee damage.

group with someone for this quest, it gets very annoying, but do this one right after you finish the dung quest (A Rare Bean), so you can breath underwater, and dont trash these beans you will use them throughout the outland for other quests, and instances. They are not stock full of hea;th, but why i say to get some1 to help you is they move fast they move slow, gets annoying when you begin chasing one that wont stop patrolling. so a warrior, mage, hunter that can catch them before they move across the lake helps.

I did this as 64lvl Beastmaster hunter and I was surprised by how easy pray these Lake Spirits were - they can easily be killed one by one, no need to fight more than one at a time if you are careful.. Didn't take much longer than 5 minutes to complete the quest and neither my pet or myself had any problems whatsoever. Easy gold! :-)

Oh, and these elementals are not immune to nature damage, unlike many other elementals.

FROST MAGES: use a nagrand cherry put on mage armour and intellect and use Fireball fireball (counterspell) scorch fireblast scorch

Elementalist Lo'ap at the Throne of the Elements in Nagrand wants you to destroy 8 Lake Spirits.

Description

The disturbance in the ebb and flow of the waters of Nagrand has greatly agitated the water spirits of Skysong Lake. They have in turn begun sowing destruction throughout the waterways of the area.

Watoosun of the Water has come to us in a vision and granted us permission to remedy the problem - so long as the source of the disturbance is also dealt with...

We will get to the source, but first you must deal with the problems immediate to the Throne. Destroy the agitated lake spirits and return to me.
