In current beta version, Serevex has been known to bug out and evade bug at the bottom of the cliff. Do not get frustrated and abandon the quest, you cannot pick it up again anywhere. If you have somehow abandoned the quest, just wait there until someone from your faction comes along and ask them to share the quest with you.

while serevex can be glitched at times, when he is, today we killed him by having a bunch of paladins and hunters do explosive trap and consecration. we kept doing this till he finally died. it took a while but we were able to finish the quest by doing this.

You can also try grouping with a player from another realm and check Severex. This works with some other quests.

Pretty minor, but if you're on the Thinning the Sik'thik quest too, the drones Severex summons count towards the quest kill count.

If you didn't pick up the set of quests and now can't find them because you did the Niuzao Temple quests, there might be a way to find them.

Of course, wowhead mentions that Taran Zhu is at Rensai's Watchpost for the start of the quest but don't do like I did.

I was searching for this quest at the Shado-pan Garrison and was wondering why I couldn't find it.
Head North East from the Garrison and you'll find the Watchpost ;)

Works fine now. Concentrate on killing Serevex. Lao-Chin will keep the adds busy.

Still bugged as of Pandaria Remix... Just another bug to add to the pile that Blizzard will never fix, I guess.

For Panda Remix, if this is bugged for you, try grouping with folks farming rep and coins (and therefore another server/phase). Or, turn on warmode and return. This worked for me.

Kill Serevex with the aid of Lao-Chin the Iron Belly.

Description

Lao-Chin is facing off against the leader just above the entrance in the tree, on the north side of Sik'vess. He is to bring back the second crystal that we need to get into the mantid tunnel.

Go there and lend him your aid.
