When attempting to arm the single explosive, you knock over a torch, setting off the cluster of larger explosives.

You and Dr. Jones jump into the nearby wooden chests, are sent flying hundreds of feet away after being close to a massive explosion, and emerge completely unscathed.

For anyone not knowing where the explosives are, Harrison has the ability to be in two places a once and is also standing at 64,22 next to the cart of explosives.

If you were like me, and added this quest.... but then had to head into your random dungeon, or left without completing right away. Don't worry!

When I came back I was shocked and confused not to be able to find the bombs... All I could see was what I now know is where Harrison ends up upon completion of this quest. Just abandon the quest, and head to the feet of the big statue.

Once you get the quest again just click the stick right next to the cart by the horse. You and Harrison will jump into a box while the cart and all the explosives will blow up. Poor horsie!

Anyhow, I also uploaded a pic to help. The red circle is where I lit my dynamite. The yellow are the boxes you will jump into.

Hope this helps anyone else that gets stuck!

I think that, although it is definately referring to the Crystal Skull movie, it is more likely showing us how un-realistic it is to survive an atomic bomb using a lead-inlined fridge. It makes fun of this because to most people, jumping into a wooden chest to avoid an explosion seems far more stupid than Indy's fridge getaway, but in reality, the chances of surviving each are about the same, maybe even with a higher chance in the case of the one in the quest.

I took off after accepting the quest. I should have read on here first because when I came back I so I dropped it and now I can't seem to pick it up again. There is no exclaimation mark above the quest giver's hea and when I talk to him it only says "I've been meaning to investigate this site. No time like the present!" The quest is definitely not in my log.

Working on the entirety of the Harrison Jones Quest chain, since you can't just click on him and see the whole chain. You must to do the starting zone quests for phasing beginning with Warchief's Board, however you can skip that one and go right to the escort quest in Tanaris.

1. Warchief's Command Board: Uldum!
2. Easy Money
3. Traitors!

4a. Kavem the Callous
4b. Smoke in Their Eyes
4c. Budd's Plan
5. Escape From the Lost City

Then You can venture to Khartuts Tomb and find Harrison Jones at (64,22)
DO NOT ACCEPT QUESTS WHILE MOUNTED!
If there is a cinematic it could bug out and Harrison will wander off without you. If this happens, abandon quest and log out and back in. This happened to me the first time I did this quest chain.

7b. Combine Elaborate Disc lying on the ground next to the obelisk with Sultan's Staff

You will most likely pick up Do The World A Favor While collecting Ornate Tablet Fragments, but is not necessary to complete Jones' quests.

Final step, turn around and touch the right corner of the central complex you are staring at and it will start the CINEMTIC for:

You reappear on the surface and Jones tells you he'll meet you in Ramkahen.

Back in Ramkahen, Adarrah Gives you the start of the next quest chain to go find Harrison at The Obelisk of the Sun

When you get the quest for Premature Explosion, look in front of the donkey - there is a cask of gunpowder there. Pick it up. This triggers the scenario. Just follow from there.

So I just did this quest on my Horde Pandaren Monk and after the cut scene started, I somehow morphed into a Blood Elf before jumping into the chest. Not sure what that was about, but it happened.

I didn't know I was supposed to click on anything and so he disappeared. I abandoned the quest and he never came back. I teleported somewhere else, toggled WM, came back, and he's still not there.

Not a well-designed quest.

If you're in a similar situation to me where you complete the cutscene, but then take a dungeon queue before turning it in. Abandon the quest, but don't see anyone to pick it back up from at 64,22. You have to go talk to Zidormi at 56,35 to switch timeline back to the cataclysm timeline and then you'll be able to get the quest again.
