Use the ropes on the ground next to Fleet Master Seahorn to swing over. When you want to leave the boat, use the ropes on the deck to swing back. Very easy. :)

I loved this quest. Was a great story line and you dont get to see Booty Bay blasted very often. To get on the boat, just walk the mast behind the goblin fleet master and kill away. To get off, click on the rope on the deck and you will swing over like Tarzan.

Edit: to get on the ship, there is also the rope just to the left of Fleet Master Seahorn.

This is a fantastic way to farm some goblin rep, the corsairs give faction with everything but Booty Bay. They respawn fast enough that it's a constant stream.

You can set Booty Bay to at war during this quest and kill some of the NPCs for Bloodsail rep. The NPCs in the area do not spawn another Bruiser and still give rep. The Bruisers change to level 35 during this quest, but they do not give rep, only the other NPCs within the area give rep for Bloodsail.

Doing this quest lowered my reputation with bloodsail from honored to friendly, but for eveyone's peace, I didn't loose The Insane title, as it is now a feature of strenght and reputation still shows as honored in the achievent although i'm friendly now.

If you have The Damsel's (Bad) Luck what I found to be the best way to farm reputation for Booty Bay+Everlook+Gadgetzan+Ratchet at once was to stand on the boat in the middle of Booty Bay and simply kill the Bloodsail Corsair as long as you can, here are my estimations (did this on my feral Druid, note that I had Cat Form and ran at 130% speed, so 30% quicker than other classes):

Honored->Revered: 12000 rep takes roughly 4 hours and 2 minutes
Honored->Exalted: 33000 rep takes roughly 11 hours and 7 minutes
Revered->Exalted: 21000 rep takes roughly 7 hours and 4 minutes

My sample size was 10 minutes of farming like this, constantly running and killing as they spawn, they spawn quite quickly since they are quest mobs.

I've done this a comple of hours now and only got rep with Everlook, Gadgetzan and Ratchet. So none rep with Booty Bay which means that eather my character is bugged or you simply just don't get rep with Booty Bay.

Your character ISN'T bugged and you CAN get rep with Booty Bay, but the catch is you only get rep with Booty Bay through Friendly. Once you are 5999/6000 you don't get rep with BB anymore but you continue to get it with the others. I'm not sure how this affects the usefulness of this quest for doing The Insane, but keep it in mind. You will have to have another way to grind through Honored.

I suspect in your case you were already max Friendly or higher with BB so it appeared as if they didn't give rep at all.

Description

I heard that this ship here is the Damsel's Luck. Didn't you used to be the captain of that thing? You must know your way around it, then.

The Brashtide are our main concern, but we still don't want to take an unnecessary pummeling from those cannons of theirs. Grab this rope behind me and take out some of those angry-looking corsairs. Check in with the Baron when you're done.
