I think this quest is bugged. I can't turn in. I've completed, abandoned and re-completed the quest but the turn-in NPC is still cowered down and will not accept the completion. I've even gone away on several occasions, once for over an hour. I come back the the battle is still going on and t he NPC is cowering without a question mark. Maybe I did something out of order?

Thanks for the help Cronollo and Tzieq, that was the problem. I was using TomTom quest 2 and when I disabled it I got the button for quest turn in and was instantly able to acquire the next quest in the chain; "Arboricide"

No need to use the Shredder to kill folks-- it's slow and unwieldy, at least for me it was. I just got out and smashed 'em with my mace.

Simple quest. I found that the fastest way to complete it is not to move at all. Go to the rear gate and sit between the two barriers (I was at 27.1, 76.7), and spam tab plus your 3 abilities. I was done the quest in about 30 seconds since they continually spawn maybe 30 yards ahead.

If you don't see all the shredder abilities as you're doing these quests, disable Bartender (if you're using it).

Currently doing this now and thinking it is bugged.

Jumped in the shredder and get swarmed by 10 night elves.
Two guards at gate fighting the ARMY of nights spawning every second.
Health running out fast, abilities in schredder do f all.
Health low run to Org, no help there from NPCs.

I think the spawn rate and quantity needs to checked, the amount of nelfs is insane.

This is a multi step quest. If you are stuck on turning in the part of the quest that requires 20 Raider kills : This step is a self turn in. Once you have killed the 20 raiders, open your quest log and select the quest. There will be an option to turn in and receive a reward. This will move you onto the final part of the quest. I just figured it out myself after getting killed endlessly by the Raiders that were still attacking the gate lol
