This indicates that it is an Aldor quest however it should also be noted that the Scryer quest is identical hwoever the rewards are reversed.

Easy quest. Kill the totems surrounding each target, and two elementals will spawn. About 1,000 HP each, just two-shot them.

If you're a caster you can take out the totems from max cast range and take a step back and wait till the elemental spawns despawn.

For them to despawn takes like 20 seconds top.

Did it as a Priest with Holy Fire without Holy Reach talent.

Real easy.
Im holy pala, holy shocked the totems and backed a bit. They are left with 5%hp but it dies anyway spawning 3 of the elemental.
If they dont aggro they dies after a couple of secounds.

as a retri pally, break the totem then drop a consecration. that'll take care of the little guys in about 4 hits or so. this is good to do on the last totem as well, so you can focus your attacks on the main mob.

These are all easy except the fire shaman. His totems cast fire novas and there are four regular mobs that spawn and patrol near him. Just clear the area first.

It might be worth considering doing this alongside the corrupted elemental quest chain, since each Corruptor is surrounded by enraged elementals of his particular element. The quest starts with "The Hand of Gul'dan (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=10681), a basic "go to talk to person" quest starting in your respective faction town. You then get, in order from first to last:

"Enraged Spirits of Fire and Earth" (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=10681) - Elementals near Eykenen and Uylaru,

"Enraged Spirits of Water" (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=10480) - Elementals near Lakaan, and finally

"Enraged Spirits of Air" (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=10481) - Elementals near Haalum, in the Netherwing Fields as well as patrolling around him.

You do have to hand each elemental quest in before getting the next one (except earth and fire since they're embedded in a single quest), but it's still quicker than flying all over Shadowmoon once first to kill the corruptors, and then again to hunt elementals.

This is a quest involved in the Black Temple Attunement Chain:

The Black Temple attunement starts at The Altar of the Sha'tar for Aldors, and the Sanctum of the Sun for Scryers. Both are in Shadowmoon Valley.

After you finish this chain, you get to pick from some rewards and the chain seems like it ends. It continues however, inside Serpentshrine Cavern (http://www.wowhead.com/?zone=3607) from an NPC called Seer Olum (http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=22820) who you can speak with after killing Fathom-Lord Karathress. He starts the next part of the Black Temple Chain by offering the quest:

For this quest you just return to Akama.
2. http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=10946 Ruse of the Ashtongue
In this quest, you must use the costume Akama provides, and kill A'lar in Tempest Keep: The Eye while wearing the Ashtongue Cowl. Attunement for The Eye is a whole different chain.
3. http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=10947 An Artifact From the Past
In this, you need to gain access to The Battle of Mount Hyjal in Caverns of Time, and slay the first boss, Rage Winterchill. Attunement for this involves killing Lady Vashj and Kael'Thas Sunstrider.
4. http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=10948 The Hostage Soul
For this you must speak with A'dal in Shattrath city.
5. http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=10949 Entry into the Black Temple
For this, just speak with the naaru Xi'ri in front of Black Temple.
6. http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=10985 A Distraction for Akama
Unknown what this quest asks of you, most likely you need to defend Xi'ri and make your way into Black Temple. At the end, you become attuned to enter and are granted The Medallion of Karabor (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=32649)

At this point, you are attuned and can enter Black Temple, although the chain continues and you can soon upgrade your medallion. It continues with:

1. http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=10958 Seek Out the Ashtongue
You just need to find Seer Kanai (http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=23158) inside Black Temple.
2. http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=10957 Redemption of the Ashtongue
This involves entering Black Temple, and killing the boss the Shade of Akama (http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=22841).
3. http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=10959 The Fall of the Betrayer
After killing the Shade of Akama and returning to Seer Kanai, he asks one last thing of you. Kill Illidan The Betrayer. After doing so, you are granted the Blessed Medallion of Karabor, an upgraded version of your original medallion, and allows teleportation to the Black Temple.

Once you kill the last totem, you have to kill boss and the elementals, however the elementals are very week.

The fire totem mob is the only one I've done up to now. He was extremely easy however. I didn't kill any of the totems, just walked up and body-pulled him. He came, with two little fire spawns, while i backed away from the other totems. They blew up with Fire Nova and nothing else happened. Killed the "boss" and two spawns with ease.

(I'm starting to think this was bugged for me with the fire guy now, considering none of the other corruptors will aggro without the totems being destroyed first. Well, I can't complain.)

As a mage, wand all 3 totems, AoE elementals, (spellsteal warden buff), then kill him. Easy quest.

Lakaan is very easy. He have a water shield, but you can put it off. Just throw him something, he will run to you and you must run from him.

These guys are -the- best place to level up your weapon skill. Just auto attack and go afk. You can literay do anything you like in the meanwhile. The only real problem you run into is, people doing the quest.

• Accept the quest, The Ashtongue Corruptors from Anchorite Ceyla at coords 62.6, 28.4 (Altar of Sha'tar, Shadowmoon Valley).
• Exit the building and fly west to coords 49.9, 23.0.
- - Destroy the Corrupt Water Totem, that are surrounding Lakaan.
- - Once this is done, Lakaan will be killable.
- - Defeat Lakaan and loot Lakaan's Medallion Fragment from his corpse.
• Travel south to coords 48.3, 39.5.
- - Destroy the Corrupt Fire Totem, that are surrounding Uylaru.
- - Once this is done, Uylaru will be killable.

I think this quest got bugged on Shadowlands 9.0.1 pre-patch and lvl squish that happened. I was unable to kill totems. Even though they had 1 HP and i was hitting them and dealing damage they just wouldn't die and so NPC's that i had to kill were immune to any damage.

Edit: Yup, this was fixed with recent hotfix.

The Ashtongue Corruptors

Obtain the four medallion fragments from Haalum, Eykenen, Lakaan and Uylaru and return to Anchorite Ceyla at the Altar of Sha'tar in Shadowmoon Valley.

Performing quests for the Aldor will cause your Scryers reputation level to decrease.

Description

According to Akama's letter, four fragments of the medallion were unearthed and given to the Ashtongue Corruptors. These dreaded Broken were once powerful shaman who now defile the very elements they revered.

Haalum, Corruptor of Air, can be found at Netherwing Pass. Eykenen and Uylaru, Corruptors of Earth and Fire, were last seen at the Fel Pits near the Hand of Gul'dan. Lakaan, Corruptor of Water, is rumored to be near Coilskar Point.

Find them and obtain the medallion fragments.
