38,87 is where the center of all the ravagers are. The eggs drop from ravagers AND as a clickable object. Both will work just fine. Enjoy.

If you want to zoom thru HFP you could skip this quest chain. It's not the best for rewards and time spent.

Pretty simple quest. The eggs respawn fairly quickly and the Hatchling Ravagers are easy kills. Just watch out for the fully grown Ravagers that patrol the area. They aren't hard or anything but can be an inconvenience if you are trying to get an egg.

those also drop off Quilfang skitterers, i did this Q while doing Rampaging Ravagers

forgot to mention the drop rate isin't high and you will probably have to go to the place where you can pick them up from the floor

this quest has the WORST droop rate ever. it took my like 20 min just to get the last one. +. watch out the big 70 elite robot comes througth there.

If you're a druid, then this quest will be a piece of cake, if you found an egg with no mobs guarding it, then thats cool, cat > stealth and go get it, but if there is a mob or two guarding the egg, either sleep them or root them, don't waste time killing those bastards.

took me less than 5 minutes to do this quest.

Why's everyone complaining about "drop rate"? Southwest along Outland's edge from all the Ravagers you keep talking about is the egg area. Lots of eggs lining the edge and some on the other side of the road. Lots of hatchlings and only a few adults. Not much killing needed to quickly grab eggs off of the ground. Much easier!

When I first started to do the quest, I did it to the west of Falcon Watch, where the drop rate was terrible.

Definitely listen to the people above and go west of Expedition Armory where you can just click the sparkly eggs on the ground and accomplish this quest with wayyyyyyy less aggravation & frustration.

Druids in 150% flight form can pick up the eggs without aggroing the ravagers. Got the quest done quickly that way. :)
In fact, I could pick up alot of quest items on the ground while in flight form without aggroing mobs.

or maybe a bug from the faction change? cant see the quest or the recipe in my cooking, so i dint get it yet

EDIT: seems like quest is no longer available, found the recipe vendor on Thrallmar, Cookie One-Eye, cost 1,8G

Easy strategy for Hunters:

Keep your pet up and ready in defensive stance, and then run to get the eggs. As soon as a ravager comes to get you, send the pet against it, so that it hits your pet and they don't stop you from stealing the eggs. Do this until the 6th egg approx. and stop. Recover yourself, revive and mend your pet if necessary, and repeat the whole process.

I just did it like that and took me around 2 minutes to get all eggs.

A word of advice:

Do this quest with the third installment of the Ravager Egg Round Up.

The Plump Feathers you have to collect are in the same area as the zepp pieces.

I just picked up and did this quest with no problem on my Alliance priest. Clickable eggs are easiest, but I got a good drop rate from the Quillfang Skitterers - all killed dropped an egg.

This quest is really easy to do as a Druid with Flight Form and Soothe Animal. I never had to even kill a mob nor did I aggro anything. Took about a minute to get all 12.

Why am I having so bad luck? I'm seeing no eggs on the floor. I feel like I've killed 20 of these guys and I only got three eggs so far.

The crappy drop rate is driving me up the wall. Please.. please assist. This is madness.
EDIT: Oh, ugh.. QuestHelper 2 was telling me to go to the area south of , instead of the area east of Terokkar Forest's entrance.

Don't know about anyone else but I was unable to pick up this quest - I went to the Innkeeper at Honor Hold and he had the recipe for "Ravager Dog" for 1 gold and change.

was unable to find this quest chain as well as some of the above. I went to Cookie One-Eye and he only had Receipt for the Ravager Dogs.

Ran around and finally found him at 49.23 74.75 but I can only speak to him, he does not give me a quest?

This quest IS still available and offered by Legassi. It is possible that obtaining the quest may rely on cooking level skill or Honor Hold Rep. If you are unsure if you have done it in the past, I suggest getting the addon Quest Completist and running a server query, then checking the quest list for Hellfire Peninsula.

If the quest is marked as not completed and you still aren't offered it, ensure your cooking skill is at least 300 and you are at least friendly with Honor Hold. Do the Honor Hold quests up to and including The Mastermind. If that still does not seem to work, ticket a GM.

Also, regarding the droprate, the eggs will not drop off the smaller Hatchlings. There is no need to kill Ravagers, though, as there are tons of eggs lying at the base of Thorn Trees and in nooks and crannies at Razorthorn Trail.

Just tried to get this .. it wasn't offered. I have over 300 cooking and honored with HH. I guess I will go to HH and see if I can pick up the other recipe.

*edits to add* which the Innkeeper still has the recipe for a gold and 60 silver.. but its yellow to me with 320 cooking. Stewed Trout from the trainer is likely a better beat since its still orange.

Rogues: Sap is your best friend. Most eggs are within aggro range of just 1 mob. Sap, steal egg, stealth and repeat.

1. Ravager Egg Roundup
• Accept Ravager Egg Roundup from Legassi at coords 49.2, 74.8.
• Travel southwest to the vicinity of coords 40, 86 and loot 12 Ravager Egg from the ground.
• Travel northeast to coords 49.2, 74.8 and turn in the quest to Legassi.

<Legassi laughs half-heartedly and taps a folded piece of parchment he has in his pocket.>

According to this tourist map we were following - before we were so rudely shot down - there's an area to the southwest, near Terokkar Forest. It's called the Razorthorn Trail, and supposedly it's brimming with delicious ravager eggs!

I could cook up quite a feast if only someone were brave enough to go down there and get me some!
