Quest is currently bugged for me. Leveling an Alt and Masud is not appearing at all. I have abandoned 3 times to no avail. Unable to continue campaign.

Update 12/4/22: Numerous tickets to blizzard with no luck. The general response is that they are not aware of the bug internally and that a bug report is the only option we have. Ironically, one of the tickets they linked this wowhead page to say to look for support here and its just comments of more people having the issue.

Same problem as others in the thread. It seems accepting the Azure span breadcrumb quest dead-ends almost immediately, leading you back here where Mahud is invisible. I forgot to set the hunk of meat out on the table, then picked up the azure span intro quest and made it to the first camp before realizing what i'd done. This is not fixable on my end. And what's worse is I can't continue any other zone's story either.

Hi all

I present You Storyline Into the Archives. This Storyline is part of Azure Spanner which is criteria for Loremaster of the Dragon Isles.

Storyline in order I done it:

1. Into the Azure - See Masud the Wise 71.6 80.5
2. To the Azure Span - See Glania of the Blessed Ones 41.43 35.6
3. Camp Antonidas - See Noriko the All-Remembering 46.6 40.1 movie will start.
4a. Assemble the Defenses - Get 3 Broken Arcane Device. Location: /way 46.1 39.3 /way 45.8 40.1 /way 46 40.8
4b. Preservation of Knowledge - Find 4 Ancient Tomes. You can fine a lot around.
6. Wrath of the Kirin Tor - jump on Arcane Blaster 46.2 38.8 and using skill 1 take down all dragons. DON'T LEAVE Arcane Blaster until you will get kick out or you will need to kill dragons one more time.
7. Meeting Kalecgos - Go to 46 38.8 press on Supply Portal and from it will drop Bag of Helpful Goods take it. Now go 40.9 55.
8. The Many Images of Kalecgos - Use Crystal Pylon is outside tower then you will be teleported on top level now move to 40.7 59.
9a. Driven Mad - Loot 40 Unstable Arcana from mobs.
9b. Arcane Pruning - First press on Bag of Helpful Goods then Fly to 2 location: 39.5 60.3 and 41.1 62.2 and use there Ley Scepter.
11. Straight to the Top - Fly to location: 39.5 60.3 or 41.1 62.2 and use Bag of Helpful Goods after few sec you will get extra bar use it to get teleport on top platform.
12a. Platform Adjustments - Press on 3 Unstable Arcane Energy they look line big portals ease to see.
12b. Arcane Annoyances - Use Arcane Hook to pull 6 Feasting Wyrm and slay them.
14. Reclaiming the Oathstone - Fly down on ground and speak with Kalecgos Movie will start.
15. Aiding Azure Span - Go to 46.6 40.1 Storyline finish.

If you're trying to get the passive Khadin's Wisdom to find Dragon Shard of Knowledge as a rare drop from all kind of content and Miguel Bright is not offering you the quest that starts this chain i think i've found a possible solution:

After completing the entire Ohn'ahran Planes campaign i talked to Merithra , she finally gave me the quest Into the Azure (which is tecnically a prerequisite for To the Azure Span, this sent me back to Forkriver Crossing, where Miguel Bright finally gave me the quest That's My Specialty to start with these Dragon Shard of Knowledge.

Because I am unable to complete "How to Dive Your Dragon" - I'm visually impaired in real life the ENTIRE campaign, including this questline and subsequent ones for opening both Maruukai and Iskaar renown are closed to me all I am able to do is secondary quests. Also several areas in each zone, especially Thaldraszus are unreachable.
Hopefully Blizzard will stop discriminating against disabled players, which has been evident in both Shadowlands and Dragonflight .
A big disappointment in what is otherwise a very good expansion

Seems to be a phasing issue. If you do the other quest before this one, this one disappears. I had 2 mobs offering quests to me and when I completed one the two mobs and their respective quests dissapeared in front of me. When I try to find this NPC I can't see him despite being on top of the ! mark. So, phasing issue.

Please fix this blizzard, how shameful on you to have basic issues like this.

I am unable to pick up this quest on my alt. I can see it (the golden !) on my map on the far west island of Ohn'ahran Plains, but the questgiver is not here.

I have submitted a ticket for this but have not heard back.

Edit: I found the quest unmarked on my map at 71, 80 from Masud the Wise.

Similar to folks posting earlier, i did have phasing bug on my 2nd alt immediately after completing Ohn'ahran quest line, not being able to pick both Into the Azure and The Nokhud Offensive: The Wind Belongs to the Sky quests.

What i did is... waited at the oathstone for prey, by that i mean people completing the story. Asked for help and invited them to the group to share me the quest.

And thus I did receive them! I love the unexpected social activities I have to come up with due to bugs like this. Thank you Blizzard!

this will happen if you level ALTs and skipped quests lines trying to only do main story line (campaign). go to /way 71, 80 on alts in Ohn'ahran Plains, Forkriver Crossing and you will start this quest from its beginning of the campaign.

If you're here trying to do the Blue Dragonflight questline in order to get you Tarecgosa mount (standalone), but can't find the quest, here's what I did ...

I couldn't find Kalecgos at the Azure Archives, but a quest did finally pop up there (on my map) that said "Winterspring", which is one of the quests in the Blue Dragonflight series that eventually leads to the mount. Odd. However, no NPC there actually offered the Winterspring quest, it was simply phased out at the Archives.

I kept backtracking and trying to find any pre-reqs that would phase me in to see Kalecgos, and eventually happened upon a quest in Ohn'ahran Plains at 71-80 (Forkriver Crossing), called "Into the Azure". I followed the storyline quests (the exclamation points with dark brown shield icons), which only took about 5 mins, and it took me to just outside the archives to Kalecgos. I did a few more very short quests, (trying not to give spoilers) where he's questioned "where is the rest of the Blue Dragonflight?" and he says they're scattered. Sounded a lot like the intro to the moutn questline to me!

I checked the map and in Valdrakken (NOT in the Veiled Ossuary), there was a quest named "Keeper of the Ossuary". In Val, I found Kalecgos atop the tower in the Seat of the Aspects with the Keeper quest where you're asked to meet Senegos at the Veiled Ossuary with the quest "Keeper of the Ossuary" which led directly to "On the Trail Again". Now you're on the right track to do the Blue Dragonflight quest!

Description
