Hi all

I present You Storyline Decayed Roots. This Storyline is part of Azure Spanner which is criteria for Loremaster of the Dragon Isles.

Storyline in order I done it:

1. Breaching the Brackenhide - Investigate 3 area by removing roots: /way 18.8 37 /way 17.5 37 /way 18.4 34.7 during that quest you can do autoquest Stop the Spread.
2a. Cut Out the Rot - Slay 5 Rotting Treant and 10 Brackenhide Rotflinger.
2b. Ley Litter - Pick up from ground 7 Ley Crystal.
2c. Echoes of the Fallen - Use Brena's Totem on 5 tuskarr corpses.
5. Tome-ward Bound - First speak with Kalecgos then wait few sec and jump on Tome of Spellflinging. Using skill 1 and 2 slay 3 Brackenhide Putrifier.
6. Realignment - First press on Ley Crystal then on 3 Decay Infection placed around. Then Fly to 16.1 41.4
7. To Iskaara - See Brena 13.2 49.5 in bulding. Now You unlock Iskaara Tuskarr Renown.
8. Gather the Family - Pick Up 4 items:
- Decorated Teapot 13.47 48.56 to the left of the cook.
- Handcrafted Boat 13.89 49.48 on a tree trunk.
- Ornamented Shield 12.46 50.31 on right side from guardian.
- Stone Sculpture is in bulding enter 12.82 49.37 and is on left side on table.
Then place all in to Funeral Boat 13.1 48.6
9. The Cycle of the Sea - Speak with Brena and follow him then wait that long to see to press on Funeral Boat. Move will start.
10. Azure Alignment - See Kalecgos 39.4 63. To get to this location is best to use Fly master, if you don't have trawel there will take a lot of time ;/. That will finish storyline :).

that was probably one of the most moving quests in the game for someone you never even met.

I was doing this quest on 10th of December 2022, sometime after midnight. After 18 years of WoW there is nothing new under the sun for me. So i was gathering some stuff, talking to some NPCs without paying much attention to the details....until i realized i was preparing a funeral.

As i watch the corpse being transported towards the sea, i am instantly reminded of my father who lies in hospital at that time. I start crying, push the cart into the sea and feel the spirit of my father leaving this world. One hour later, my father passed away.

I can barely type, but wherever you are now papa, know that you will always be loved. Now and forever. If there is one thing i regret, it is not being there to hold your hand when you were about to leave the world of the living.

Rest in peace. You have earned it.

Thank you, <name>. I have learned what I need for now from our new friends. The funeral ceremony for their former chieftain is about to start. Given how kind and hospitable the Iskaarans have been to us, it seems only right that we join them before departing back to the Archives. Speak with Brena and let her know we are ready when they are.
