If you lose the disguise, run out to the cave where ya got it and back in to the zone. It should auto reapply itself. I had mine pop off and had no clue what to do and it just reappeared when I went back.

If you are a druid and you got into Travel Form and lost the disguise, get out of the area and out of combat, then re-enter again. It should pop the disguise back on you.

If you have used one of the shards to gain a critter as a friend for an hour, you will need to wait for this 'buff' to wear off as you will be constantly put into combat if you have a pet, removing the sucker from your head i have found.

If you have this quest in your logs it can prevent the Follower XP quest A Good Offense from showing on the map.

The quest appears to be bugged currently. The quest doesn't update after equipping the 'disguise'. Have abandoned and retaken the quest multiple times, and no luck.

Scouting Undercover

Scout Zanj'ir Terrace while pretending to be mind-shackled.

Description

Entering the stronghold alone would be a death wish. The Zanj'ir slaughter outsiders on sight. The only way to get in without being killed is to appear to be under the effects of a zoatroid. Even then, the mind-shackled are put to work. You must obey all commands, or they will know your mind is still your own. Once the Zanj'ir believe you are mind-shackled, it should be easier to navigate their domain and uncover their secret.
