All of the orcs can be found in the same positions as previously in the questline - the orcs have just swapped posts.

Dragon-Lord Neeralak is located in the cave on top of Dreadmaul Rock.

General Thorg'izog is located in the cave on the west side of the mountain.

High Warlock Xi'lun is located in the cave on the east side of the mountain.

I'd just like to point out that John J. Keeshan is a huge hinderance to stealth classes, he will follow you and aggro any mobs while you're stealthed not allowing you to restealth untill the said mobs have died.

This makes what could potentially be a perfect quest for a Rogue/Druid into a huge PITA.

Then:
The Sand, the Cider, and the Orb

These two at once: Warlocks Have the Neatest Stuff and Shadow Boxing

Then:
Return to Keeshan
Chiselgrip, the Heart of the Steppes

Enables these quests, which must be completed before General Thor'izog in the main chain:

Scrapped Golems (leads to Golem Training)

A Perfect Costume (4 versions) Read the quest carefully. What creature disguise do you need?

After handing this quest in I realised I still had the 'Blackrock Cudgel of Discipline" in my inventory.

Anyway either this is a bug, or if you also have it you may be able to use it to help clear those pesky guys all around.

The Cudgel doesn't seem to work outside of the quest it was given for. I tried it in this one and it did nothing.

The cave with Xi'lun was full of Necromancers fighting Flamekin. All of those were pretty easy kills, but they were everywhere, and the repop rate was off the charts. By the time we killed the three Flamekins (always three), the Necromancer either repopped or a new one came strolling along. Seriously, I sometimes had a pile of three or four necromancers to loot. Then my pet and the NPC bugged out on a ledge above Xi'lun after I jumped down to fight him. After I barely beat him alone, I could not get back to my pet and partner, and I couldn't logout or even exit the game because I was "in combat," which I wasn't. I finally had to just hard close the game and start again. And of course I was dead when I got back on.

Have fun fighting 8 thousand mobs trying to get to these 3 guys. They don't seem to hit that hard but it's a pain in the ass.

In order to make this quest as painless (& death free) as possible you need to understand how the previous one 'Assault on Dreadmaul Rock' can help you.

This requires a bit of hindsight or visit to a blog before you start laying waste to the 200 invaders with your fire breathing dragon. Because you don't have this quest in your bag when you do the dragon thing this advice may best be suited to alts who you level up in the future.

Basically concentrate your killing around the areas of Dreadmaul Rock close to the cave entrances where the bosses are hiding. This way when it comes to doing Glory Amidst Chaos the mobs will be much thinner for you & your Orc buddy to fight through. Sure go for some of the larger mobs roaming the plain from time to time, but thinning out just these will not really assist you.
The numbers of mobs around each cave is vast, & remember that if your Orc dies you don't get him back, even if you abandon & start again! And believe me you won't get through all the Orges, Shamen etc. on your own unless you are well over leveled when doing this quest.

This is honestly one of the most frustrating quest ever as the number of mobs are really high and the spawn rate is fast.For example after killing one of the target then getting out of the cave the mobs are respawned therefore requires fighting as previously which is major pain in the ass.The targets are located at the same previous places.

Lord Neeralak is located in the cave on top of Dreadmaul Rock This comes after you cross the bridge and follow the path.
General Thorg'izog is located in the cave on the west side of the mountain.It is at the bottom side.
High Warlock Xi'lun is located in the cave on the east side of the mountain.The location is followed through the path and is at the top.

It's sad to see John J. Keeshan go after all that adventure what can I say you get attached and he is really good help lol:p

I seem to have bugged out the quest to where I can't get keeshan back after I died. I've even abandond the quest and picked it up again and he still won't follow. sad part was I was down to the last fight when the bug came up.

Pain in the ass that is for sure. Many...many mobs to work through and with the new leveling system they are all a level higher than me. You have to fight 3-4 at a time and the bosses are not easy. Well if you are a hunter anyways.

Dragon-Lord Neeralak currently seems bugged. His Battle Cry ability gives himself 155 attack power against a level 43 character, killing me in just a few hits. Methinks it didn't quite get squished right.

This quest is pretty broken as of 8.01. For one thing, with all the phasing going on, it doesn't matter how many Blackrocks you kill during the dragon event, the area will be covered in mobs anyway. For another thing, Ariok, your minion during the quest, is a complete imbecile. He pulls EVERYTHING. I'm a rogue, and I'm trying to sneak in as well as I can, and this guy just starts running in front of me and beating up anything nearby. I try leaving him behind, but when he dies the mobs come after me. Even when we've got a fight with just one or two or three enemies, Ariok decides that's not enough to test his orcish honor, and runs off to pull more mobs that were nowhere near us, and suddenly there's ten mobs running straight for me. After dying twice, I got lucky when the quest bugged out and Ariok never respawned. Without my minion's stupidity, the bosses are difficult but not impossible.

Description

You and Keeshan are going back to that mountain. There's three orcs who survived the attack, and we won't rest until they're dead.

That's right, I'm talking about the Big Three.

General Thorg'izog crawled back into the Firegut Furnace, and Dragon-Lord Neeralak is cowering in the cave on the mountain's peak. Xi'lun is in the back of the Skull Warren, plotting with his fellow warlocks.

Leave your mark, <name>. Hunt down those sniveling Blackrocks, and teach them the might of Redridge!
